I'm hearing alot of people are outraged over this website vote for the worst. I went there looked around, and they have a valid point to their madness.

The producers put the bad ones through. Then the judges tear them apart, not just once but let them go on and on while they laugh. All for good T.V. then they get to hollywood, make it through to the "final 12". At that point america takes over and votes for the next american idol.

So what's so bad about america having a little fun with it also. Sure I'll admit I don't want to see the worst one there voted as the next AI. But who's it really hurting, if he's put through for awhile for some good old fashion watching. Before everybody starts yelling what about the good ones who are beeing voted off before him. Well if they were really that good in the first place, they wouldn't be standing in the second to last votes. People will say, it's mean to get their hopes up. Or they're being made of fool of on national T.V. They opened that door to the public the minute they auditioned. As far as taking "stardom" away from one of the other contestants. Let's face it other than a handful the runners up are more famous than the actual AI. And what about little "William"? We all had a great laugh, and would watch him over and over imitating ricky martin. While he's laughing his butt off as he cashs in on his stardom. I do believe even as bad (and he knew it too) as he was, he cut a CD.

So tell me really, is it wrong to vote for the worst? Should the website "Vote for the Worst" be shut down?

Thought I would follow your blog wrk!
You put it in a different perspective, but the people that have been voted off (although would never be the AI) were voted off too soon.
I think if people are sabotaging the voting, then AI needs to do something...someone in my blog said that you can vote like 100 times! What's up with that? I wonder how many votes Sanjaya does have....now, that is the question! I would like to see if it is a crazy amount of voting

I agree, they probably were voted off to soon. They were all much better singers than Sanjaya. And your right maybe they should take a closer look at the way the voting process is working. I too have heard that people are voting like a hundred times. My question though is this. I've also heard more people saying how they can't even get through to vote once. Now with that being said, if it were to take me 50 calls to make it through for one vote. How would I go about getting 100 votes in for one person, in under 2 hours? They must be using some kind of program to do automatic calling or something. Or maybe they just really, really need to get a life. LOL

My whole thing with the AI this season is. Lakisha has by far out shined anyone in the competition that hands down she's going to win. And even if she's not named "The American Idol" she's going on to bigger and better things. There's too much talent there not to have been noticed by the big boys. And to tell you truth, I think the rest of the public has also seen that and is just having some fun with it. Sanjaya is as cute as he can be, but he can't sing. Look a the kid we tagged as "chicken little" last season. He was a doll, and sang alot better than Sanjaya. But now as good as his competition, although he was pushed through for awhile. Until ultimately the public had to vote him off, because there wasn't anymore so so talent left. They were down to the extremely talented singers, and there's no way they were going to let "chicken little" become the next AI. I predict the samething will happen to Sanjaya. As soon as t

I agree -- the judges choose them, now they are upset that certain ones stay and certain ones leave?! I think there were those who were voted off too soon, but something needs to be done -- maybe the public shouldn't be allowed to vote until the top 12, that way we get the cream of the crop of contests to vote for?

I recently lost my older brother Steve to lung cancer. My father told him when he was a child to take care of his little sister. And he never stopped, we couldn't have been closer had we been twins. He would have been 49 this month. My outlook on life now more than ever is, life is way to short don't sweat the small stuff. Laugh your way through life. If you don't feel you have anything to laugh about, pray to your God to provide you with something to laugh about. But more importantly have faith that he will provide you with all your needs. R.I.P. Steve, I love you! March 20, 1958 - Feb 22, 2007
