The Word "Fart" Makes Me Laugh!

I don't know what it is about the word "fart", but for some reason I can't help but laugh or at least giggle everytime I hear it.

My best friend gave me my birthday card today. And he couldn't have picked out a better card for me. It just goes to show you what happens when you hook up with someone who almost knows you better than you know yourself. It was all about farts and the different types, the different smells etc.. It was so funny, I couldn't stop laughing.

I know this sounds really dumb, but for the past two weeks anytime he (my BF) thought I needed something to smile about. He would work that word into the conversation, or would discretly make a replica "fart" sound. What's wild is that's exactly how I get my 8yr old to smile right before he goes to school.

Someone please tell me why I think that word is so funny. I think it's my way of holding onto a simpler time in my life, or I'm just truely an 8yr old at heart.

I recently lost my older brother Steve to lung cancer. My father told him when he was a child to take care of his little sister. And he never stopped, we couldn't have been closer had we been twins. He would have been 49 this month. My outlook on life now more than ever is, life is way to short don't sweat the small stuff. Laugh your way through life. If you don't feel you have anything to laugh about, pray to your God to provide you with something to laugh about. But more importantly have faith that he will provide you with all your needs. R.I.P.
