I have the cold that is going around.  I have gotten rid of the sniffles, chills, etc. but I can't get rid of the cough.  It is getting so bad.  Does anyone have some ideas of how to help get rid of the cough so that I can sleep at night and to get rid of the headache from coughing.  I have tried over the counter products and it just isn't working.  Please help me before I start going crazy.

I just read and heard on the news that WE Engeries wants to raise their rates again 7% in two years, thats right 7% for 2008 and 7% 2009. At our home we don't jack up our furnace during the winter and during the summer, even though my husband works in a factory, hardly use our air because it gets so darn expensive. Pretty soon we are going to be wearing tons of layers to keep us warm. We have talked about getting a fireplace but we don't have the room for that in our home but the more I am thinking about it the better it is sounding. Why does it have to be so expensive this is getting crazy.

I just watched the tape on the New Berlin coach.  I believe that the coach, yes deserves a suspense becuase he should be able to control himself.  BUT I believe the the kid should also get a suspension becuase that was definitely him going after the coach.  The coach could go for the assault charge, kid is almost 17,  but what I am hoping is the suspension of the kid and should have some kind of charge put on him by the police department.  I feel sorry for the parents, who I understand was sticking up for their child, but was not told the whole story and he should be punished at home.  Anyone else with an opinion on this. 

Can anyone explain to me how PCB gets into fertilizer that hasn't been used since 1977?  Was this fertilizer not tested?  There are so many fields that can't be used because of this and I am having a really hard time trying to figure how this came about.  Don't they test the fertilizer before they spread it?  Anyone that can explain this to me would be great.

What is the actually curfew during the summer for minors?  I know that during the school year that it is 10:00 on weekdays and 11:00 on weekends.  Does it change over the summer or does it stay the same?  Any help would be great so I don't have to argue with my kids when they say they can stay out later.

Before I start my blog I want you to know I have nothing against people riding their bikes but I do have an issue with some people that ride their bikes.  My big issue is this: I understand that people over the age of 10 should not be on the sidewalk and they should be in the street, I understand that with no problem and I agree with that part.  What I don't understand is why do people have to ride on a main street, like 32, when the bike trail is right there, I can see the bike trail as I am being slowed down by a person on their bike that is riding where I can't even pass them becuase they have the rights.  I wish they would use the bike path that I can see and that tax payers have help built.  Can anyone explain why this happens and why they can't ride on the BIKE PATH which means you can ride your bike on the path.

I was at bingo yesterday and does anyone know why they ring the bell when I-22 is called.  Is there a reason behind why they are doing this.
