The cost of seven years of having a Burning Bush in Washington has just aboot run this country right into the ground........perhaps when said and done, triggering a world depression similar to the "29" collapse.

The genius of this administration is......there ELITEST IDEALS that translate into or unfold as "NEW WORLD ORDER". Where there is the poor (you and I) and the rich priviledged few.

Perhaps that may not be there goal; the physical universe does not lie. SEVEN years of this So called president has just about destroyed the greatest country on earth.

After 5 years in Iraq we have spent $527 billion dollars ($235 billion in the last 2 years). (I remeber a direct quote from JUNIOR saying it would only cost us about $80 billion dollars!)

I wonder what the cost will be for rehabing all the wounded?

Or

What have we for this expenditure. Close to 4 thousand dead americans (the widows and families of those fallen receive $500 thousand dollar life insurance money).

Close to 30,000 wounded american troops, cost over the long run around 300 to $350 million.

Just about 100,000 dead Iraqi's.

1.4 million displaced Iraqi's.

Number of doctors that have fled Iraq- 17,000.

We have gone from bein the beloved liberators to the "hated AMERICAN ARMY OF OCCUPATION".

We dont dare leave now after the magnificent mismanagemnent of this Bush administration, from inception to present.

Otherwise we will just have to re-invade and Re-secure the oil fields, and  "TRY"  to keep stable a region that is likened to a rag soaked with gasoline waiting for the match.

Has totally (A quote from the Army War college on long range planning and strategies in 2005.) thrown out of balance any semblence of a "War upon Terrorisim". By the shear volume of resources dedicated to keeping an army of occupation in Iraq; has pretty well derailed any "War on Terrorisim".

There were no WMD'S there, and there was no Al-Quida there either.

I am glad that Hussein is gone and the Iraqi's are free of  a genocidal killer.

We now have a country on the brink of civil war and a whole lot of Al-Quida infesting the country.

On the other hand Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Bremer and Rice, have managed to so screw things up over there and domestically, it will take 10 or 15 years to recover from this catastrophic mess.

THANK YOU PRESIDENT BUSH, FOR BEIN THE TRUE ELITEST-PATRIOT YOU ARE!!!!

I SAY DOWN WITH TERM LIMITS.............. I VOTE FOR ......ANOTHER 8 YEARS OF BUSH AND WE WILL BE LIBERATED OF ALL PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS LIKE SAY ........FREEDOM OF SPEECH, CARS, VOTING, THE ABILITY TO EARN A LIVING, AFFORDABLE HOMES, AFFORDABLE FOOD,  AFFORDABLE GAS....................................................
..HELL....YOU CAN HAVE THE SHIRT OFFIN MY BACK MR. PREZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!

Yessiree, he has screwed it up fer his own party, now folks will probably vote in the Democrats and they will withdraw to soon from Iraq and further destabilize the region.

Leading up to or creating another "Re-Invasion" by U.S led forces.

Perhaps creating a real war in the region, with a real volume of casualties likened to WW2 ........................What would it look like say........a pandemic happened to start right as we got right into the middle of said re-invasion?

Whats it gonna look like say a Avien Flu Pandemic starts in an American city IN THE NEXT YEAR OR SO??????

Scientists at the CDC in Atlanta are saying soon, it will be a reality, is not a friggin scare tactic or scam by right or left wingers.

I just pray fer the highest good of our country and Godbless who ever ends up in the white house next year.....they will need a whole lotta prayers and miraces ta bring us outta the tailspin Bush and his butt buddies have placed this country in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To those who much is given, much is owed!

If you are going to quote numbers site the source. It seems that you are only interested in the dollar amount being used in these wars, how about the lives that have been changed? Before you answer with your limited thinking abilities, I am also talking about the thousands and millions of people that are no longer subject to tyrany, and the multitudes of Iraqi and Afghans that the liberal media won't show because it does't fit their agenda.

If the C.I.A. can go around the world and disrupt and change the governments of other nations. Why can't they do it in there back yard.C.I.A. briefing memo exposes Bush lies on 911 so when Condoleezza Rice talks about they didn't know that terrorists would hijacked airplanes and use them as missiles. She is lying.

So then we might as well not even go out and vote since tha CIA has already decided who will be our next president, Right?

Like I've said before, someone always cries conspiracy when they don't have a real answer or they don't like decision making by our leadership.

Our government probably faked the Lunar landing and the Infamous attack on Pearl Harbor too, right?

DRK12 your inference to limited thinking abilities reflects your own state of mind.
Did you read where I said
"I AM GLAD THAT HESSEIN IS GONE AND THAT THE IRAQI PEOPLE ARE FREE OF A GENOCIDAL KILLER"???
Were you a thinking person, you would realize that it is not enough to just invade a country with no real restoration plan and then implement one in the criminaly neglectful way the Bush administration has done. With the exception of the quote from the ARMY WAR COLLEGE, these facts are drawn from the "Anchorage Daily News" from the aniversary of 5 years in Iraq.
I was against the war from its inception.
I am of the mind that since we are there now, we had best get the damn job done as well as we are able. And a pull out in the next yeasr would be not to the highest good of all parties involved.
In 2005 George Bush on CNN said and I quote "I TAKE FULL RESPOSIBILTY FOR THE WAR IN IRAQ".
That would include the incredibal amount of mismanagement on the part of those he had administering the war, namely Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz and Paul Bremer.
The grateful Peoples of Iraq and Afganistan are no longer grateful to a standing Army of occupation........would you be???? After 5 years of occupation and not much to show for it (the infrastructure of Iraq is as bad as it was from the inception of the war).

In human terms, how can one sum up the shear amount of human suffering In Iraq?????????????

Exactly, In by view as was taught by my Philosophy Professor, I take very seriously the accounts that I read, hear or view. I have found that With the exception of very, very, very few, the BBC is about as accurate and objective source of information out there. When you quote a article from a source do you know where that source is from? I think not, it is most assuredly gathered from another source that has been re-written from another that has been re-written from another. This and only to this is what I was referring to as limited thinking, I apologize if you were offended.

Unfortunately the liberal media is not interested in providing us with objective facts so we may interpret the information ourselves, they are interested in the money that they make on the ad business. This is why I gather my information from the BBC, you will find that the articles and views are from BBC staff and will not have a lot of "sources close to but wanting to remain anonymous" statements.

I agree there is a terrible situation in Iraq and Afghanistan, I don't believe they were better off before NATO involved itself. Remember it is NATO who is involved in these wars, the United States is just the strong arm for NATO and it fall apart into chaos without us.

The Iraqi people may have a dismal infrastructure, however if you were to interview every Iraqi citizen alive (and maybe the deceased ones too) I believe the overwhelming consensus would be gratefulness to the United States.

Sounds kind of like Mexico to me.

I once heard a speech that Bush gave to a group of businessmen and I wish that I could find it on You Tube, but I'm sure its been burned by now.

In the speech Bush says, and I quote...

"America is not a country, it's a market"

Is it any wonder that Bush is pushing so hard for open borders and a North American Union?

Business is a Juggernaut and will continue to do for itself, does that make it right? No! What America needs are Unions like they have in Germany. Do you know that the poverty level in America is $17,500 annually and that WalMart employee's average $13,000 annually? While in Germany, which has the only union sponsored WalMart, the associates enjoy a comfortable life due to unionization.

It seems that our country is regressing to a stage in history where working people are victimized by employers.

Thanks for stopping by THIS_Aint_yer_land.
Actually the open border started at the behest of Davd Rockefeller, who roped Clinton into it.
He (Rockefeller) is pushing for open borders from Tierra Del Fuego to Canada; one big happy family. Hows them apples!

DRK12, try going direct to the source, like the GAO, government accounting office, for cost expenditures of our present administration. Or iffin you want to see some really interesting stuff, go and visit Represenative Henry Waxmans site, on house committee on government waste and reform.

I am a junior capitilist! I am coming outta the closet, I say squash the little guy, use, buy, manipulate the laws and or government process to squeeeeeze my profit margins that much higher.
And heaven forbid that you should protest my capitilist ideals, that would make you UN-AMERICAN and "Not a Patriot" in the eyes of ths present administration.
Runaway/un-regulated (or the atmosphere of greed) capitilisim will be the doom of our great country.

All money surpassed the American Dollar as soon as Pres.Bush vetoed his own No Child left behind bill it seems???????
OOOO I was so pissed and still confused but thanks stanhootzz for just being here.
Yeah I am angry but also a loyal American I just hate politics and can't get past this anger ! So just wanted to come here and say I agree!! I feel you have very good opinions!!!!
We do feel the losses in this war! We do see the family's cry in these rural areas too and its so hard on us all. Breathe.....
I feel too the next 4 to 6 years we will be at war in trouble and just trying to survive! Good point too! Probably true! Take Care!

stanhootz, In no way do I disagree with the fact that our government is spending happy, I believe that the government is bogged down in a quagmire of legislative bickering by political parties arguing about insignificant issues while the American people endure hardships that are not necessary. Can you tell me why our government spends so much on space exploration yet we can't even seem to have uniform spending on education, California the third largest economy in the world, ranks 47 among the 50 states. I'll tell you why, our government works for the preservation of the government, not the people. We can afford to have universal health care, we can have affordable housing, we can do something about hunger and disease, it however is not on our representatives agenda. Now that is not to say that there are not a miraculous few that are truly for the people, they are just not enough. A President with ideas is not going to be enough, these candidates can say that they are for change, lets be realistic though, unless the wasteful spending habits and pork lining of legislation by representatives who get fat from special interests are done away with, it will continue.

I know that this across the board topics, my point is we have no real representation among politicians.

Your welcome, as for the comment by BFCOFFMAN, the NCLB act is a great law, now if only we can get the funding we need to accomplish the task we would be in great shape as a country of educated citizens that won't rely on foreign expertise to do what we should be able to. California is poised to cut $4.8 BILLION from the education fund, does that sound like the NCLB act is working? Call, write or email your representatives and let your voice be heard!

Your welcome, I also wanted to let you know about a great site to gather information on the issues that concern you. www.newstatesman.com and weekly magazine, Very infromative, Irreverant and nicely written. There is a great article on Barack Obama that objective thinkers will find interesting, it seems he is not the idealist man that the liberal media potrays him to be. Very pro-war, has voted to increase war spending, has voted to increase troop deployment, has taken money from special interest groups for his campaign, was not in the senate in 2002 to vote on the war resolution to send troops to Iraq as some people would have you believe, voted against the resolution to withdrawl troops from Iraq, he has said "I would not hesitate to send troops into Pakistan without Pakistans approval to hunt down terroists". This doesn't sound any different than we have already heard, but wouldn't you rather have someone in office that has the military experience to make those decisions when it's time?

Registration is free for New Statesman, and it's simple, if you want to see this article in whole (because this only a fraction) you want to go to archive and January 10, 08 Obama unmasked.

Enjoy
