By the year 2025 or "24",  3/4's of the worlds population is going to run out of drinking water (google up "water resources"  or "Wickapedia--- water resources"

Iffin even half of, or a quarter of this true, then we are looking at 2 to 3 Billion thirsty people looking fer water!

Now, according to resent forcasts, we in America are not looking bad in water rescources. So, i reckon there are gonna be alotta folks wanting to come over here and git a little taste (I am thinking that when yer child dies in yer arms from thirst, reason is gonna go out the window).

We are talking about huge displacements of peoples and whole cultures on the move.

So, as a preventative measure, WE BUILD A VERY LARGE WALL BETWEEN MEXICO AND U.S., not only takes care of present illegal immigration problem, also any future probs like thirsty people trying ta overrun the countryside. Selfish, perhaps, by the same token, iffin we dont take care of ourselves, who is, and how do we help others iffi we are overun??

Sensationalist, I really dont think so. In less than 10 years there will be major armed conflicts over water in the north african, middleastern and western indian regions of the world. Potable water is running out real quik in these regions of the world.

By the way, its forcast that 2/3 of China will run out of drinking water by 2025, Alaska and Canada are not far away.........................you see, short of thermonuclear warfare, there is not much that can stem the tide of mass migrations of people. India, Pakastan, Iran are the highest on the list of countries most likely to have wars over water stressed regions (India and Pakastan, already in a state of war with each other, also i might add, have nuclear weapons)

Preparation, preparations are the way to go, not fer war but workable solutions that will help these folks out.

More desalinisation plants, more water purification plants like Violia is developing and coming online with in Paso Robles ,CA. More water purification processes that are cheap and able to be built in very short time???? We welcome any and all suggestions about this coming problem.

10 or 15 years is not very long at all. We are all of us in this together. QWhat will you do?

www.acumenfund.org  Is one of many non-profits that are working towards lessing the growth of water stressed regions. Research them ta make sure they are on the up and up.

Innovative thinkers and solutions. check out  www.ted.com

Thanks, I feel so much better now. Whew! I thought we had something to worry about for a minute. Seriously, we all have to be aware of what is happening in the world. Instead of all the little nit picking that people are doing from day to day. By who is the smartest or thinest or has the best or which race is best or which country is best and on and on. It seems to be coming down to one very important topic, Can the world we live in sustain life? Will we have enough fresh air to breath, enough food to eat, enough water to drink? Are we poisoning our oceans to the point that our ecosystem is totally out of balance? When you start looking at the really important issues, It becomes whats best for humankind?
It wont matter much who has the fastest cars if their is no fuel, it wont matter what designer dress or handbag you are wearing if you are starving and thirsty. It wont even matter who makes the most money, when money no longer has value because a drop of water is priceless. We really need to work together as people and stop all this petty fighting over nothing.

A holy person shared last spring that bottled water will rise to more than $100/liter! Think that is outragious and doubtful? It already costs more than gasoline. In five years you will remember this and go, Damn, I shoulda bought some property with a spring on it.
I really hope not to see these things realized, but how we are conducting ourselves here on Mother Earth, gives me not much hope.

I doubt the world will end. I reckon the level of suffering will git pretty high.

I Certanly have my opinions/beliefs, am respectful of other folks and what they have to impart to life. Is what i believe to be an american patriot, Gotta watch out fer those "Patriot-ic" folks, seems like they are right in there with "fanat-ic's"! LOL'S.
