I am happy to report that business as usual under the Bush administration is alive and well.
What ever hppened to accountability in procurment procedures in the Department of defense?????
Witness ths story on an American contractor.
"40 Years old: Some of the ammunition is obsolete, Nato says."
This story reported By: C.J. Chivers
The New York Times
"Since 2006, when the insurgency in Afghanistan sharply intensified, the Afghan government has been dependent on american logistics and military support in the war against al-Quida and he Taliban.
But to arm the Afghan forces that it hopes will lead this fight, the U.S. military has relied since early last year on a fledgling company led by a 22 year-old man
With the award last January of a federal contract worth nearly $300 million, the company, AEY Inc., which operates out of an unmarked office in Miami Beach, Fla., became the MAIN SUPPLIER of munitions to the Afghan Army and police forces. Since the company has supplied ammunition that is more than 40 years old and is in decomposing packaging, according to an examination of the munitions by The New York Times and interviews with U.S. and Afghan officials. Much of the ammo comes from the aging stockpiles of the old Communist bloc, including stockpiles that the state department and NATO have determined to be unreliable and obsolete, and have spent MILLIONS of dollars to have destroyed.
In buying arms, the contractor has worked thru middlemen and a shell company on a U.S. list of entities suspected of illegal arms trafficking.
Moreover, TENS OF MILLIONS OF the rifle and machine-gun cartridges were manufactured in CHINA, making their procuement a possible violation of U.S. law. The company's president, Ephraim Diveroli, was also secretly recorded in a conversation that suggested corruption in his company's purchase of more than 100 million aging rounds in Albania, according tothe audio files of the conversation.
This week AFTER REPEATED INQUIRIES ABOUT AEY's PERFORMANCE, the Army suspended the company from future federal contracting."
Does this sound anything like what this Bush administration has been about all along; rife with corruption and mismanagement, that would make President Grant Blush in his grave with envy (the Grant administration as recorded in history "was" the most corrupt administration to come along until this present administration of George Bush Jn.).
I wonder just how much this 22 yer kid made off with in tax-payers dollars???? Will he be prosecuted???? Probably not.
I liken this administration to the saying "When ya lay down with dogs, yer liable ta git up with fleas!"
I thank all you folks out there who voted these fellas into office. Maybe we can just do away with term limits and voting and have the
BURNING BUSH IN OFFICE FER LIFE!!!!
Yeah Buddy!

The end of the world and the time of Jesus returning is at hand!!!! Repent you sinners!
I say unto you go forth and slay the sinner that repents not!
Use all the resources of this world without thought for a tomorrow, for you will be in paradise with me and will have no use fer this mundane world that God Created for you and I.
I wonder, at times, because I believe that the physical universe does not lie, iffin this is the phylosophy of many who in the Christian world believe to be true. "That piss on it, Jesus is coming, why not use the resources of this world up with no thought or regard for tomorrow". Because we will be in Paradise together soon. Whilst those that disagree, well, they will burn fer all eternity in hell for standing against the rightious capitilist.
JESUS WILL BE HERE SOON FOLKS, the FIRE SALE IS ON!!!!!

Ya know after 5 years of war in Afghanistan and Iraq, we have lost 127 men and women kia or accidents (i always wonder how you qualify this, as the person dying in an "Accident" ,would not be there in the first place had there been no war?)
The state of Alaska has had 127 killed, wounded ?. There is only 750,000 people in Alaska, so these losses are very much felt statewide, and not just a metro area.
I am against then war from its inception to present.
I am so saddened fer the president and his administration (impident rage and resentment was an apt description at one time) for how and where they have brought us as a nation to this state of being.
I am even more saddened by the fact, that we will be fortunate to withdraw from Iraq in maybe 4 to 6 years.
To withdraw earlier, we will further the destabilzation of a region ready to explode in all out war.
The casualties would then start to approximate those suffered by certain countries in WW2.
This region is going to suffer severe water shortages within the next 3 to 5 years. Bringing war and more strife to an already unstable region.
There looms the spectre of Avien Flu Pandemic, is not a propagandist made up fantasy. The top doctors in the fields disease control say "When" not "What If" or "Maybe".
So you add an already stretched thin American military into these situations fer our nation, and it spells what?????????????????????????????????

I say lets vote David Rockefeller into office. He will iffin elected do away with all borders from the arctic to Tierra Del-Fuego. We can be one great big happy family in the United States of South Central and North Americas.........Or ........."SCNA".
Yessiree we can just kiss the constitution goodbye (is pretty well done in already) be a happy continent of Pions ruled by an Elite few.
Or you can elect me Tyrant for life!
I will in the tradition of Ceasar be benevolent to my subjects, I promise not to do nothing that My predissesor George Bush jn. would do, with the exception that you can have ME fer life. I truly believe that the more cruel, elitist and incompetent a leader is.........The better we are loved by the subjects. Hence 7 years of the Burning Bush proves this true enough.
Seems, the leaders we really do love or are cherished are assasinated along the way???????????????????????

The cost of seven years of having a Burning Bush in Washington has just aboot run this country right into the ground........perhaps when said and done, triggering a world depression similar to the "29" collapse.
The genius of this administration is......there ELITEST IDEALS that translate into or unfold as "NEW WORLD ORDER". Where there is the poor (you and I) and the rich priviledged few.
Perhaps that may not be there goal; the physical universe does not lie. SEVEN years of this So called president has just about destroyed the greatest country on earth.
After 5 years in Iraq we have spent $527 billion dollars ($235 billion in the last 2 years). (I remeber a direct quote from JUNIOR saying it would only cost us about $80 billion dollars!)
I wonder what the cost will be for rehabing all the wounded?
Or
What have we for this expenditure. Close to 4 thousand dead americans (the widows and families of those fallen receive $500 thousand dollar life insurance money).
Close to 30,000 wounded american troops, cost over the long run around 300 to $350 million.
Just about 100,000 dead Iraqi's.
1.4 million displaced Iraqi's.
Number of doctors that have fled Iraq- 17,000.
We have gone from bein the beloved liberators to the "hated AMERICAN ARMY OF OCCUPATION".
We dont dare leave now after the magnificent mismanagemnent of this Bush administration, from inception to present.
Otherwise we will just have to re-invade and Re-secure the oil fields, and "TRY" to keep stable a region that is likened to a rag soaked with gasoline waiting for the match.
Has totally (A quote from the Army War college on long range planning and strategies in 2005.) thrown out of balance any semblence of a "War upon Terrorisim". By the shear volume of resources dedicated to keeping an army of occupation in Iraq; has pretty well derailed any "War on Terrorisim".
There were no WMD'S there, and there was no Al-Quida there either.
I am glad that Hussein is gone and the Iraqi's are free of a genocidal killer.
We now have a country on the brink of civil war and a whole lot of Al-Quida infesting the country.
On the other hand Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Bremer and Rice, have managed to so screw things up over there and domestically, it will take 10 or 15 years to recover from this catastrophic mess.
THANK YOU PRESIDENT BUSH, FOR BEIN THE TRUE ELITEST-PATRIOT YOU ARE!!!!
I SAY DOWN WITH TERM LIMITS.............. I VOTE FOR ......ANOTHER 8 YEARS OF BUSH AND WE WILL BE LIBERATED OF ALL PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS LIKE SAY ........FREEDOM OF SPEECH, CARS, VOTING, THE ABILITY TO EARN A LIVING, AFFORDABLE HOMES, AFFORDABLE FOOD, AFFORDABLE GAS....................................................
..HELL....YOU CAN HAVE THE SHIRT OFFIN MY BACK MR. PREZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!
Yessiree, he has screwed it up fer his own party, now folks will probably vote in the Democrats and they will withdraw to soon from Iraq and further destabilize the region.
Leading up to or creating another "Re-Invasion" by U.S led forces.
Perhaps creating a real war in the region, with a real volume of casualties likened to WW2 ........................What would it look like say........a pandemic happened to start right as we got right into the middle of said re-invasion?
Whats it gonna look like say a Avien Flu Pandemic starts in an American city IN THE NEXT YEAR OR SO??????
Scientists at the CDC in Atlanta are saying soon, it will be a reality, is not a friggin scare tactic or scam by right or left wingers.
I just pray fer the highest good of our country and Godbless who ever ends up in the white house next year.....they will need a whole lotta prayers and miraces ta bring us outta the tailspin Bush and his butt buddies have placed this country in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOUSE PASSES RESOLUTION ON IRAQ CORRUPTION
Today the house with a vote of 395 - 21 PASSES the " IRAQ CORRUPTION RESOLUTION", introduced friday, Oct. 12th,2007, by chairman Waxman and Tierney. In his statement on the house floor, Chair. Waxman called the State Department abuses of classification system "outragious" and demanded answers to questions about corruption in Iraq.
H.RES.734 expresses the sense of the House that the state department has abused its classification authority by witholding from congress and the American people information about the extent of corruption in the Maliki government . The Resolution further condemns the State Department for "RETROACTIVELY classifying documents that had been widely distributed previously as UN-CLASSIFIED , and by directing its employees not to answer questions in an open forum that call for " Broad statements/assesments which judge or characterize the quality of Iraqi investigations were thwarted/stifled for political (Judge Rahdi, head of the department investigating corruption in the Iraqi Government has had 31 of his investigators ASSASINATED)(he and his family have survived 2 rocket attacks upon their home) reasons.." Cosponsors include Reps. Tierney, Maloney , Lynch, Yarmuth, Braley, Norton McCollum, Van Hollen, and Schakowsky.
Chair. Waxman today released a NEW FACT SHEET THAT RESPONDS TO INACCURATE AND MISLEADING STATEMENTS contained in the State Department's Oct. 15 response to the Committe.
A quote from the Burning Bush "02"
President Bush has said that "limiting the size and scope of government" is one of the " values I hold dear to my heart."
YET, total federal expenditures have increased from $1.8 Trillion to $2.5 Trillion since he has been in office.
The cover up is in progress. You see, especially when the news gets out that funds given to the Iraqi Gov. are finding there way into the hands of insurgents killing our soldiers.

Exerpts from the "Executive Summary" report to the " House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform"
Web Sight--http://0versight.house.gov/story.asp?id=1535
>
Last year, Rep. Henry Waxman released the first comprehensive assesment of government contracting under the Bush admin.. The rport titled: Dollars, Not Sense: Gov. Contracting under the Bush Administration, found that between 2000 and 2005, federal procurment spending rose by over 80% , no-bid and other contracts awarded without full and open competition increased by over 100%, and contract mis-management led to rising waste fraud, and abuse in federal procurement.
This NEW report is the first report to examine 2006 procurment data. It finds that the worrisome trends idetified in the last year have worsened significantly. For the first time, (1) annual federal procurement spending crossed the $400 Billion threshold, (2) more than half of this spending ---- over $200billion in NEW contracts---- was awarded without full and open competition , and (3) the total value of wasteful federal contractsnow EXCEEDS $1 TRILLION (from 2000 to 2007).
WASTE, FRAUD, and ABUSE CONTINUE to SOAR. Last years report identified 118 contracts valued at $745.5 Billion that had been found by GOVERNMENT AUDITORS to involve significant waste, fraud, abuse or mis-management. This years report Identifies 187 contracts valued at $1.1 TRILLION dollars that have been plagued by waste fraud, abuse, or mis-management. In the case of each of tghese 187 contracts, reports from the Government ACCOUNTABILITY OFFICE, the DEFENSE CONTRACT AUDIT AGENCY, AGENCY INSPECTORS GENERALS OFFICE, or other independent federal oversight officials " HAVE DOCUMENTED" significant overcharges, wasteful spending, or mis-management over the last 6 years.
The physical universe does not lie. The Burning Bush in D.C. and his administration are Bad fer this country, the republican party, and most of all, he is lethal to our troops serving in the armed forces and to the Iraqi people.

The first comprehensive report on the Bush administrations Spending prepared for the
Committe on Oversite and Government Reform.
I started this journey 2 days ago, when i got pissed at a person by the handle "ArtistEd. My journey has brought me to a very sad place concerning where the leadership of our country has brought us to.
President Bush has said that "limiting the size and scope of government" is one of the "values I hold dear to my heart."
Yet total federal expenditures have increased from $1.8 TRILLION to $2.5 TRILLION since he has been office.
The report is titled: DOLLARS NOT SENSE:Government Contracting under the Bush Administration
A couple of brief synoptic passages (i aint writting all 101 pages of the most corrupt Administration in U.S.History
CORRUPTION APPEARS TO BE GROWING. The integrity of the procurment process is increasingly being called into question. Over 70 corruption investigations are currently underway in Iraq. At LEAST 785 investigations of criminal activity, including PROCUREMENT FRAUD and ABUSE, are being pursued in connection with the response to hurracane Katrina.
COST TO TAXPAYER
This report identifies 118 contracts collectively worth $745.5 BILLION that have experianced SIGNIFICANT OVERCHARGES, WASTEFUL SPENDING, or MISMANAGEMENT OVER THE PAST FIVE YEARS.
There are more than 500 different sources used in the preparation of this report, more than half are non-partisan.
The justice department and the State department continue to with hold documents that are slowing down some of the major investigations (previously un-classified documents are pertaining to investigations are now being classified).
The administration and atmosphere it operates in is the reflection of the guy doing the leading (leadership 101), in this case George Bush jr, or as i like to refer to him, THE BURNING BUSH IN D.C.............................

Corporal Wayne Geiger of the Owens Valley was the first to come home in a box from Iraq. A member of 2nd platoon, H Company, 3rd squad, 2nd Stryker Calvary Regiment, at camp Stryker, Baghdad.
He was killed by an IED in Baghdad on 10/18/07. He was the son of Lt. Randy Geiger and civil officer Kim Geiger of the Inyo sheriffs department residing in Lone Pine,CA.
He was completing his 13th month of deployment.
I was my way to work yesterday when upon entering the town of Bishop, there were hundreds of people who had turned out in support his of family and to pay tribute to one of our own who is gone fer good. We ,live in a very sparsely populated county, so every one pretty much knows about everybody else. Is difficult to convey the emotions of seeing the grief etched upon so many faces as i drove down the street............
I was listning to a vet the other day, and he said pretty much what sums up the war in Iraq (he survived D-Day and was finally wounded and captured during the battle of the Huertgen forest in WW2, where 24,000 (an additional 9,000 lost to combat fatigue and trench foot) americans were killed in action over a 4 month period, so i reckon he would know what he's talking about when talking about war).
He said very simply, that there is no such thing as a "Good War", there are only wars of necessity. He asked "were we under threat of invasion from Iraq?" There was no WMD's ever found. There was no Al-Quida till after we invaded Iraq (Saddam would not tolerate them). So upon faulty intelligence we launched into a war........................ and with no transistion to peace or exit stratigy either.
The going to war over an invisible "Imminent Threat" has cost us dearly. This country has not faced a credible "Imminent Threat" since the cuban missle crisis.
How many more of our folks have to die, become maimed or suffer the effects PTS before we get the hell outta of a country that never poised a threat to us in the first damn place. Hell, what can be said after 4 years of war there in Iraq, except when are we leaving?
What will we have accomplished after we do leave? What will we be getting for the blood that has been spilt not only by our own folks and allies, but fer all the civilian non-combatants of Iraq that have suffered the highest losses in this war.........................

How come he has not been impeached? I mean how many woman need to be raped or murdered, or how many armed robberies, or car jacks, or lost income from lower wages and inferior work, or how many more Billions need to be spent on free health care for illegal Aliens, or the 100's of millions spent deporting them, so they can turn right the FRAK around and come back thru the PRETEND BORDER we share with Mexico.
I mean it, Frickin Bill Clinton was lying about a frickin cigar and cheating on his wife, Thats his frickin prob between him and his wife. 7 Years of George Bush Jnr. has resulted in what?
A war that has gotten us emeshed in a country that has devolved into civil war and major guerrella/insurgent actions taking place every day,Of course after ALL combat operations have ceased.
The bottom dropping out of the building trades and housing market, in the last 9 months.
"OUTTA CONTROL IMMAGRATION" between Mexico and U.S. May as well have a completely open border the way the Burning Bush is taking care of this situation.
And the Al-Quieda has become stronger and larger????
Those victimized by Katerina are still pretty much bein helped by volunteer's and aid from across the country. The Burning Bush administration has been very ineffectual in keeping promises of Gov aid????
The burning Bush promised 2 billion dollar aid package to NYC after 9/11, for some reason, it never materialized????
I reckon a person could say "its easy to critizice other folks", but when the physical universe dont lie, that this Administration of George Bush jnr. has been a growing nightmare, an administration that will go down as the most crooked since the Grant administration of the early 1870's.
I am all for a positive change in leadership. I truly sympathize with the administration that takes over after the Burning Bush in 2008.
It will take years to reverse the damage this present administration has created, before even starting/enacting new policies and relations in this country and abroad.
Stabalization of the patient before forward progress can be made???????????

I dont reckon we can really call it a "war", since George Bush jnr. said that the "war" is over, what 45 months ago, specifically i believe an exact term he used was "COMBAT OPERATIONS HAVE CEASED IN IRAQ". So i reckon all the americans and allied troops, Iraqi people + the insurgents that have died since Bush's proclaiming the war over are just collateral mistakes or little oversites?
"War Tapes" is a documentary from a unit of the 172nd Airborne, shipped off to Iraq for one year not long after the invasion. They are posted in the Sunni triangle including western and northern Baghdad up to fallouja. It is made by the fellas from the unit, not as a propaganda piece, is a film documenting this units experiances in Iraq for one year and a postsrcipt of their return to the states.
Is very reveiling as to what is bein said in washington and what the average troop in Iraq is doin. Folks at Halliburton and several Cheney favorites are makin out fat on this non-existent war. Covers there tour from late 2003 to 2004.

Elections, supposedly legal elections for a new administration of these United States is coming next year.
This is probably about the best time to put preassure on the politicians ta get the immagration under control. I reckon tho in the process they will talk us to death or that fancy double speak, that literally means nothing.
How long would it take for them ( Politico's in Washington) take, to git off their collective dead asses and take care of business in regards to the outta control IMMAGRATION?
As long as the people of this country dont make their voices heard, is how long (DEMONSTRATIONS AND AT THE VOTING BOOTH)!
I dont recall having anything go up fer debate in allowing Canada and Mexico into the Union? They are foreign countries with a common border with us.
Lets see about having the borders of our country kept secure and the laws of immagration enforced, lets have Halliburton take care of it, I am sure they at HALLIBURTON will give us a discount if we say we know Dick Cheney, LOL'S

CRITICS ABOUND, but few are the folks that are willing to get off their collective dead asses and DO. Probably might cut into my time critisizing other folks. You see, there is positive critisisim and negative. The negative does what?? Tears others down and makes you better than. While positive Critics help refine and develop a solution or realize a goal.
So what are you????????????? A doer or an armchair critic, basking in the cheap glow of self gratification, resting upon the bones of hollow victories?
A doer is always gonna catch crap for taking a stand and seeing a vision realized, they will take risks, and perhaps even fail. But you know what, they will have tried.
An armchair critic risks nothing and contribites nothing fer the higher good.

Why not use the tens of thousands of illegals that are locked up in federal and state prisons to build us a real good wall along the border?????? Is there some kinda moral or ethical issue here i am missing???? Why the heck not? It costs about $45,000 dollars a year (average) per prisoner, I say let them work it off on the WALL. I would rather not hear about some chickensh_t fence, a real wall 16 or 18 ft. high by 12 or 14 ft wide with towers at effective distances that can be driven to on top of the wall.
Hadriens wall across Britain seemed to work fer the Romans, the great wall of China worked fer awhile ( I think the Mongols outflanked it).
Why not split up responsibilities---------Corp of Engineers design and supervise, the National Guard of Ca, NM and TX pulling police duty on the illegals building it. Start simutaniously in all three states, and push them fellas hard, 6 days a week, 12 hours a day, slakers git the hole.
Be one hell of alot cheaper than say, having HALLIBURTON build it for us!
Shoot i dont think its a half bad idea. What do you folks think???
