I am somewhat of a religious man who went to church every Sunday as a child till early teens with my family who were preachers and teachers within the church. I will not disclose my religion so as to not be ridiculed by my fellow bloggers. I have always had a sense of common sense due to my close family ties. I grew up without a father, but had great father figures who instilled basic universal common morals in my life. My mother at home made mistakes that led me to my own lifes mistakes. The way I think, feel, communicate with others, and the ability to solve problems within my life is due soley to my life as a child. There are other factors, such as economics, parental morals, and most of all social environment. Today my children ask me "Why are people so bad to each other?"I simply reply with,"It's not all their fault, they probably had bad or no parents to teach them the right things to do in life. The key is to always try to do the right thing as far as being good to your fellow man and resisting the crap that life is most likely going to give you!"Im almost 40 now and I'm finally getting it that, you cant change the world, but if you help someone you dont know out of the blue as often as you can you can change their world and give them hope, one person at a time. Lets face it Jesus could'nt save the world but at least he made a sacrifice and died trying, how about you? I dont attend church anymore it seems too corrupt with money and other bad things. I believe the church and teachings begin at home and in the heart and around the dinner table on a daily basis. Still their is a constant battle in my head but not in my heart that I should always do and think the right things in my life. If I die tomorrow, I would be happy with the legacy and morals I left behind. That had to have come from somewhere......somewhere special. And now I leave you with this,"The way a boy sees his father is largely a product of the things his mother says and the way she feels. - Parenting Isn't for cowards!

I say if employers have the right to hire or not to hire potential employees who are currently using illegal drugs and could most likely harm other employees or themselves, which would most likely end up in a lawsuit that would hurt everyone, then we should allow landlords the same rights, so as to protect the existing tennants/neighbors and his property (livelyhood), thus saving the community one household at a time. This law could stop alot of drug trafficking, sales and would deter the dealers from being able to deal their venom in and near our neighborhoods and schools. Anyone is capable of doing or dealing dope in any neighborhood, but just think if your neighbors or people on your street were dealing drugs in high volume or low volume and the owner of the property felt bad for renting to the dealers and couldnt really do anything about it without alot of man hours from the police who we pay to keep us safe, this law could really save alot of lives and people could start to take back their communities! Tell me what you think!!!
