I think that life is too short and Love helps. Age is just a number. Whenever my husband says he will trade me in for 2 younger woman I agree bring it on they need to get caught up on some of this housework thank you very much!

Seriously, it doesn't matter what a dude's age is to most women of substance.

An unselfish, intelligent, funny, challenging, respectful and cuddley guy who can pretend to listen, take out the trash, get our car washed and treat his woman like a queen (that means putting her needs first, cause you know she will take care of him) and occasionally vacuum/and or cook WITHOUT BEING ASKED is pure lust, err joy, ummmina ummina LOVE!!.

I say different strokes for different folks. What ever works for you. Whatever floats your boat. Thank goodness we all dont have the same tastes. Its an individual preference and no one elses business.
When people enjoy each others company and it works for them, then age really isnt a factor.
Of course we have to be realistic. If a young guy wants to have children, then it would be unrealistic for him to be dating a woman after child bearing years. Some thing are just common sense.
Men on the other hand can become fathers at a much older age than us women.
I have always been attracted to older men. Guys my age were way too immature for me. I took a lot of flak from certain family members over it, thank God I went with my heart and didnt listen. I found a man 17 years my senior, that has been a wonderful husband and father. Age never really entered into it.
Besides age is a frame of mind. Most of the people I know are much younger than what the external age shows.
I say if it works for you, go for it.

i didnt know i had so many people writing in. i didnt get any emails telling me that i had any bloggers. but it's great to see you all blogging. i have dated girls my age, younger and older. personally i tend to like women a tad older then me. they seem to know what they want, easier to get along with, and i just have tons more fun with them. mostly cuz they aren't about head games. all they want is a nice decent guy to take them out and have fun with. my mom married a guy that's 1/2 her age, and they got along well. so i think it's possible to work. when i see couples with a major age difference, it doesn't bother me. each to their own.

Yes I have almost always been involved with older guys. Like you OClee, I was 16 and he was 22, then I was 19 he was 27, then I was20 and he was 36 and the one I've been with for 23 years and counting we met I was 29 he was 46.

I also knew of guys when I was young, (8 maybe 9 months ago+) and they would only date older women. Just remembered, when my mom was in her early 40's she had young hot 20 year olds knocking at our door or just trying to hang out with her. She always tried to introduce them to me - NO INTEREST, I was grossed out, besides, they weren't interested in a 20 year old girl.

It depends on the person and what they want out of a relationship. Love has no age bracket as far as I know. Besides, most ladies look better now than they did several generations ago,

40 is the new 20, 50 the new 30, etc.

I think if someone truly wants kids, they can always adopt - many unwanted children out there. And great fertility successes as well. So many options. I couldn't get pregnant again after 30 and but am so grateful for my son! Now I am an awesome aunt and a great aunt as well.

As far as gravity goes, Victoria's Secret wire bras and spandex goes a long way. You just have to know how to "readjust" yourself. If your fella loves you and your body and can help fan you down furing a hot flash, then he's a keeper.
