Have you ever played air guitar to your favorite tunes? Ever wished you could shred like a rock star? Well if you answer yes to both of these questions, then check out guitar hero. In this game you actually get play the some of your favorite song. You play it with a guitar shaped controller, and you strum the chords to the notes show on the screen. If you miss too many, then you will be booed off the stage.  It sounds simple, but once you get to the hard, and expert level, you will singing another tune. The notes come at a rapid rate, so keeping up will be difficult since your playing every note in the song. Not only that but some combinations require you to press 2 to 3 buttons at a time.  It sounds easy but just waits till you try it.

 

 

So why am I writing about this game? It’s because this game is that damn fun. It’s a great way to relax, blow off some steam. Teach your kids about some of the old music you are into. It’s a good way for kids to show what kind of music is cool now. It’s a great game that might inspire kids to want to learn how to play a real instrument. It’s also a game that's fun for the whole family. I got my mom and dad to play it, and they don't even like video games. But they did enjoy this game. This game can entertain you for a while too. With all the secret characters, bonus songs to unlock, plus buying new guitars, and skins for the guitars. There is also a ton of songs to choose from and learn to master. Check out the set list for the games. I’m sure everyone can find a song that they enjoy.

there is so much details going on in the game, it's hard to notice it all. the characters actually pluck the strings to each note you play, plus the band is also on beat with the music.

there are all types of characters in the game. each dressing in there own certain style, from a rock-a-billy

to a punk style

 to a glam/ hair metal rocker. my personal favorite character

hell, even the grim reaper is on the game. "don't fear the reaper"

it also has a awesome 2 player mode. you could battle it out, or work as a team to play a song together. you could even decide on who plays what instrument. you can pick from the lead guitar, bass or rhythm guitar.
