i grew up on pro-wrestling. i loved it as a kid, and i still enjoy it now. i think it's one of the great things in life that will always be great and fun to do with your friends and family. kinda like the way people feel about the circus, or  a carnival. it's not just wrestling, but it's a event. i respect the men and women that perfom through out the year. i know it's tough on their bodies and on their personal lives. it's lonely being out on the road for so long. it's not like other sports where it's a seasonal thing. but to most, people think of wrestling as being fake, which angers me. the matches are fake, but perfoming it is all real. they perfom incredible moves and sustain so much pain throughout a matches. but still they are never given the respect that they desirve from the media. so what are you thoughts about it?

I used to find a lot of it funny. Some of the personalities are great, like Vince McMahon, the Rock, Mankind, HHH...and when I watched I'd get a chuckle out of it.

And I didn't care if it was fake, it was interesting.

yeah, boy, that's what i'm talking about. triple h is one of my favorites. i remember being able to take a pic with his world heavyweight championship belt on his 1st title reigh the day before wrestlemania. it was sweet.

I thought he was funnier with D-X than he was when he began hitting the juice and becoming huge. But he's my favorite for sure.

I love pro wrestling, but not too much of it now, back in the day, They had more wrestling matches, but now it's like a drama tv show, I like Tripple H, his crazy remarks, and he played a good part in Blade Trinity, but then you got the Rock, which is also one of my other favorites, and course mankind, and some other ones, but now it's all drama, more talk, then wrestling, especially when you see a good match, then you get those interuptions from the outsiders wrestlers interferring, but that's what makes people watch. It's funny though you don't watch it for 6 months and then you turn it on, nothing really changed.

road dogg and billy are gone. they left to a different wrestling promotion. as for the drama, well it's needed to keep people interested, and to give some performers a break. taking a beating each show takes it toll on the body. as for the 6 months thing. well some things are the same, then some things are way different. you see new faces, other people retire, quit or get fired. right now there is alot of changes. most not for the good. too many new faces with no great gimmick.

Hey Samo, my 10 yr old son LOVES wrestling (me not so much) He watched the last PPV on Sunday at my brothers house:) He went to see it live in February in LA and loved it. I know it's fake,he knows it's fake but who cares. My son and his cousins wrestle whenever they can. They like night wrestling that's with the lights off totally dark. I let them for a bit, but it scares me. They don't completely hold back on some of the moves, again it scares me.
I guess it's this generation's kinda thing... Back in the day, it was the Roller Derby in LA, that was fake but was it ever exciting.
I'll admit this at the end there are a few of the wrestlers i like. Mind you for their bodies not their minds, hey just being honest. I don't care if they are the good or bad guys.
Enjoy life be it wrestling or Roller Derby:)

well make sure to watch them as they wrestle. you dont want to let them go over board lesvia. i rememeber my cousin and i used to wrestle. but we never got hurt. mostly all slams would be landed on a bed matress, and we always timed ourselve to do each move perfect, just like on tv. i remember watching roller derby. the california kid. the rockers, the violators, the t-birds. roller games. sweet. as for wrestlers bodies and minds. i have met many wrestlers, and they are great. totally not full of themselves. very humble, funny, and grateful. you would be surprised how smart some of them are. alot smarter then appear.

i am known by many names. the great one, the showstopper, the whole F'N show, the innovator of violence, the worlds most dangerous man, mr. monday night, the immortal, the icon, the legend, the man of a 1,000 holds, the crippler, and the list goes on. i believe i am the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. i'm greater the great, and quicker the quick. beat me if you can, survive if i let you. and that's the bottom line because sam said so!
