Repent or Perish!

America was founded as a Christian nation. 95% of Americans claim to believe in God. 65-70% of Americans claim to be a Christian. But how do other countries see us? ....Christian? Not quite.   Sexually immoral, perverted, drunkards, murderers (especially abortion), idolators, backbiters, greedy, homosexual, adulterers, fornicators, thieves, revilers, extortioners, liars...You name it, we love to wallow in it.  Welcome to the land of Sodom and Gomorrah!

Don't get me wrong, everyone is a sinner, including those who truly are Christians.  The difference is that, if you're a true Christian, when you sin it will bother you.  You won't be able to comfortably live out your life in sin.  However, sin doesn't seem to bother most people and evidence of that is clear:  a LOT of Americans are comfortable making sin a part of their lifestyle.

Matt. 7:20, 21, 23  "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.  Not everyone that saith unto me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven... I will profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

God has no doubt blessed us with the best country in the world. Our freedoms, jobs, families, homes, food, health, doctors, money...even our government. To whom much is given, much is required. God giveth and God taketh away.

1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

If 70% of people in America who claim to be a Christian were Christ-like and abstained from all appearance of evil, we might be able to truthfully be called a "Christian nation" again.

"If my people, which are called by my name (Christians), shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land."

"Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."  -Jesus

Obama wants to:

Raise minium wage to 10 dollars an hour.- so subtract about 4 dollars an hour from what you already make to compensate for the inflation that would happen.

See gas go to 12 dollars a gallon.- so we can "break" our oil dependancies (he uses our tax money to pay for his gas anyway- so it would not bother him).

Tax the oil companies for the large profits they make.- Only the government comes out ahead here, they will only pass the loss to us. How about use OUR oil!!!!!

Give everyone a 1,000$ check for fuel.- So he is trying to buy your vote with our money. Didn't Obame criticize the "stimulas check" that Bush passed?

Proclaim "economic justice" - socialism anyone?

Now, I'm not crazy about McCain, but I'd rather have Father Time in charge than someone that will flush our nation down the toilet.

Around the world, Christians are being targeted for their religious beliefs. Now, one of the largest organizations, the Organization of the Islamic Conference, in the United Nations is promoting anti-Christian bigotry wrapped in the guise of a U.N. resolution called "Combating Defamation of Religions."

 They are trying to declare Islam as THE world religion, by way of UN law.  This would make anyone who does not worship and/or declare Allah as god, an infidel. -And by their laws, infidels are to be put to death.

And again how is islam a religion of peace?

 This will make declareing the Gospel of Jesus Christ illegal. Whether this affects America or not I don't know, but it will affect every missionary outside of our country. They are trying to make Christianity and the Gospel a hate crime.

I hear the left wing media are saying now that if you don't vote for Obama, you must be a racist.

"Hmmmm....Since Obama doesn't actually have any qualities that anyone will vote for, How about we guilt them into it? Everyone wants to politically correct now days!"

I guess if black people don't vote for McCain....  They must hate whitey.  Sounds kinda' ridiculous doesn't it?

I caught the last few minutes of the interview with Obama, I was wondering why you didn't ask him any hard questions.

Instead of becoming more "green", how about LOWERING the gas prices!

What about using OUR oil?

How about droping the 15% gas tax on US?

"WindFall Profit Tax" will only be passed on to US, Big Oil will not loose any money and ONLY the government will profit...BIG!!

You want to give Americans a 1,000$ check... Bush was just criticized for doing the exact same thing!!! Think up a new idea on your own.

I may be wrong but...

The people making all the profits off crude oiI are the people selling it. Who is that? Iraq, Iran, Venezuela... I don't know exactly. But, I believe that these gas prices are the newest form of terrorism- Financial Terrorism.  America is being destroyed from the inside out and right before our very eyes. If our government wants to stop global terrorism, they should start by protecting the financial infrastructure of our own country.  The cost of oil goes up, the cost of living goes up. EVERYTHING goes up, except our wages.

Has Obama ever stated exactly what "Change" he plans on bringing? And if so, what his plan is to do so.

I was at the intersection of Hy 30 and W saturday morning, and saw a bunch of kids asking for handouts for their sports team.

What happened to the good ole' days when kids would have a fund raiser if they wanted to raise money for their athletic program or school band.  We NEVER begged for money at intersections expecting a free handout. We had to work for it, we had car washes, bake sales, sold candy, mowed grass,  had BBQ's ...Whatever it took.

   With todays ways of collecting money, these kids are going to grow up expecting society to give them everything.  Teach our kids early to rely on welfare...That's a great idea! Might as well show them how food stamps work while your at it.

Obama lied?? Why does it matter? If your morals are so sub-standard that you would actually vote for Obama anyway , why would one lie bother you? As far as morals go, that's kinda' like buying a car from a junk yard and returning it because the seat has a rip in it, or there's a dent in the bumper. I don't understand some people.

So, if your (lack of) morals allow you to vote for him in the first place, don't let one lie bother you. Support him the rest of the way!

Since the Jews are Gods chosen people, will they still go to heaven even though they rejected Christ?

John 3:18 "...but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." - Which of course is Jesus.

Jesus Christ arose on sunday morning- We celebrate easter that day. 

Our Lord was in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights. Now count back 3 nights from sunday. Saturday night,  friday night,  thursday night. That tells me Jesus died on a thursday- not Friday! Thus it should be called Good Thursday!!
