Well gone are the days when a guy could have a night at the game and enjoy a smoke after a few innings . Are non smokers really this petty . Well I am a huge Cardinals fan and have been all my life , I grew up running around the confines of old Busch Stadium . Went to more games than I can count.......as have many people my age , who were Baseball fans growing up . But you have NOW lost me at the gate . Oh yeah I'll still watch my Cards and I'll still have them on the radio.........guess ya got me there......But to me it's about principal........So we cant smoke because there's this health risk....no matter how small.......or large you may view it.........BUT BY GOD WE CAN DRINK AS MANY BEERS AS WE CAN DOWN....IN SEVEN INNINGS.......WE CAN SLAM DOWN TWO OR THREE BRATS.......(and we all know how healthy they are).....AND WE CAN EAT A MOUNTAIN OF NATCHO'S SMOTHERED IN A YELLOW GOO THAT IS ONE MOLICULE REMOVED FROM PLASTIC................BUT OH NO............HELL NO..........I BETTER NOT HAVE A CIGGARETTE...........CAUSE I'M KILLING MY SELF . Wake up people........There is'nt any body blowing smoke in non-smokers faces.......in the smoking areas at Busch......And if they are THROW THEM OUT........Don't punish those who abide by the rules . I'm not asking for the world........Just one secluded place on the level that I'm sitting in .........where I can have a @#$!%& ciggarette . Is that too much to ask ? I paid the same @#%!@ price for my ticket as everyone else . I WONDER PEOPLE.......WHO'S THE BIGGER HEALTH RISK ....ME .......SMOKING IN A CORNER SOMEWHERE WHERE YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO..........OR YOU.....OR THE ,10,000 OTHER IDIOTS POURING GALLONS OF BEER IN THEMSELVES , THEN DRIVING HOME........AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ALL THIS I ALWAYS HAVE A DESIGNATED DRIVER POOP............MAYBE YOU DO BUT THE GUY OVER THERE..........YEP.....HE'S DRIVIN HOME . SO I ASK YOU......WHY IS THAT PERSONS RIGHTS PROTECTED......AND PROMOTED........AND MINE ABUSED.........

NCAA in town , National coverage on St. Louis . SIU still in it GO SALUKIES......But I just don't like Basketball , like I used to . When I was a kid......Dr. J and Wilt the Stilt , Bill Walton , Pistol Pete , Larry Bird , Majic Johnson , Bill Lambier .....just to name a few , Man These guys............They we're exciting , THEY PLAYED FOR THE NAME ON THE FRONT OF THE JERSEY.......NOT THE NAME ON THE BACK . I can not stand the attitudes of todays athletes......DON'T GET ME WRONG........I'm not talkin about these kids in the NCAA Tournament..........But the system . I can not believe.....the way the game has changed . It used to be ......Poetry........it used to be........Amazeing..........I'll Guarentee you that , Back in the day , The Bull @!%&* that goes on with these Millionaire PRETENDERS today would'nt have Cut it........with the guys I mentioned above . I'm sorry but I have a hard time getting excited about any Basketball , above High School . I'd rather pay $5.00 to sit in a gym and watch a High school game . The athletes on the court , may not be the best in the land , but they come to play every min. of every game ......period . The game is just funner to watch.......when it means something.......It seems that these guys are inconvienenced........because they have to actually have to play........OOoooohhhhhh what have we done to your game Dr. Naismith ? Why could'nt Michael play for ever ? When did we stop calling Technicals ? When did we allow the poetic game of yester year .........to become this STREET GAME...........Run by Money grubbing scoundrals......Who play us fans for a bunch of saps . Can some one PLEASE tell me why the rams just spent a Gazillion dollars on a reciever ? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but ......Did'nt LIKE the entire LEAGUE run all over uslast year ? EXCUSE ME........EXCUSE ME........COACH..........uuuuhhhhhh coach.........we just let a picture perfect Linebacker go to anouther team .......probably the best runstuffer on the market , and one of the best in the league . I'm starting to worry guys . Your starting to remind me of another Football team that used to call our fair city home . So let me get this straight .......we're letting our 3rd. Reciever GO........So that we can spend more money on another 3rd. Reciever . And while we were buisy working that nail biter.........The teams with a head on their shoulders , scooped up all the best Defensive players availible on the market . AND I'M SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE THAT YOU WANT TO WIN A SUPER BOWL ? Ya know I'm sure this new reciever is tallented . I'm Sure I'll at least like him better than I like Linehan . Last year the Rams told us how they were all commited to THE RUN......THEN......All they wanted to do was pass.........now they pay up , for another reciever . Nice way of paying back a guy who gave his all to ya coach . A reliable 3rd. guy who simply got the job done .  Well I hope this new toy you just bought , can stop the run Coach . Or you just might be looking for a new job in "08" . If you can't plug that GAPING HOLE in your defense then I don't care if this new guy is Jerry freakin Rice OK . First let me begin by saying that , I'm guilty......YEP.......guilty as all getout........I'm...........I'm ......yes I'm one of those............YEP................But I feel that.......mmmmmm.......I Feel that I acted in a responsible , and Democratic mannor . But it seems that EVERYONE .........and I mean EVERYONE that I hear on the street , or at work , or on the radio , or on the T.V. , Lives in denial........WHY IS IT THAT NO ONE.......will admit that they voted for G.W. Everytime I get in a conversation and that conversation leads to the STATE OF THE NATION..........everyone says @#%&*!@! those @#%$*&^!@#@%...people that voted for that @#%$!@!$%^&%#....BUSH...........I'm Sorry but.....I dont know how the man got elected when nobody seems to have voted for him.............Why cant people say OK.......I blew it ..........I get one vote every 4 years.....ONE.........I JUST BLEW IT................OK I'll admit it........I VOTED FOR HIM TWICE..........I wish I could take it back sometimes . BUT WHAT IS THAT GOING TO GET ME . Maybe we should stop squawking about who did what and figure out how were going to get this job done . Reguardless of how you view the situation that our Country is in , we must all accept it for what it is........It's our problem . WE EITHER ALL PULL TOGETHER or WE WILL PASS THIS WARS LEGACEY , AND BURDEN............To our Children........and our Grandchildren . There is an election next year.........And we will elect our future administration........I hope that we vote responsibly . That we don't get caught up in the glitz and pomp , of the campains..........That we don't vote on Star Power......I hope America votes with their hearts , I hope that America educates themselves , about the ALL the candidates . Not just their own personal favorite . Look at our Candidates from all different viewpoints . I don't know if an Election in Our Country has ment more than 2008's ....since maybe Abraham Lincoln's . And though some may not like my choice to vote for G.W. at least .....I voted .

Who knows who we'll get.........Right now I'm just reveling in the  glow of a pending Draft that means something in St. Louis........We're gonna be players , and the Future begins .....This Year..........I'm more than satisfied with all The Blues Organization has done since taking over.......THE ONLY thing I'd say they errored on was raising ticket prices before the season......BUT they have since dropped the prices for next year to a more realistic figure and alls well in the Blue Nation..........I havent bought season tickets in a number of years , But it might be time .......within three years folks....The Blues will be the hottes ticket in town.......We are about to see some amazing young talent rollin in for a while and it's about time.......THANKS BLUES.....Well I'm interested in hearing what everyone else thinks , SO CHIME IN.......

Although the evidence , does in truth show that the invasion of Iraq has not been handeled very well at all by our administration in Washington . This I must concede to you . However......I often hear people ranting about the war , and they all have their fact sheets . And they have their graphs , their volumes of statistics , to back their arguments up . And thats fine , All I have to do is watch the news , or open the newspaper . And it's right there . I always hear their ranting of how were going down the tubes , or , It's J.W.'s fault . What I never hear...........is how they propose we should fix it . Mr. Jaco people have been slinging stones , long enough . They want to show case The President's errors . But they never have a solution . WHY ?............er........oh yea pull out.........sorry ! WELL IF YOU CAN TELL US HOW TO GET OUT , WITHOUT SETTING THE MIDDLE EAST INTO COMPLETE AND TOTAL CHAOS...........THEN I'M ALL EARS !!!!!!!!! I will tell you this.......It is so evident to me just how far removed we are from America's greatest generation . Sir , WE ARE AT WAR !!!!!! The last thing we need is a crack in our armor . If the world saw the WWII generation's unity and sacrifice , for the cause right now in our country , They would not still be fighting . They would be defeated . Now I'm sure that , that sounds silly to you probably.....very out dated . I feal that I can say , the most sincere and genuine respect shown to soldiers in this war , comes from that very same generation . Without their support ....we would have almost none . How dissheartning it is to be a soldier over there , hearing these stories and anti-war rants . Blameing the very ones that are leading us . To hear so much talk about pull out . Well Mr. Jaco there is no clear way out of this in the near future so , We should all support our troops with faith , sacrifice , and the same kind metal that the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan , are showing we could show the world are strength and unity . BUT.......NO........WE CHOOSE TO WAG OUR FINGERS AT EACH OTHER......AND BLAME......AND CRY ABOUT GAS PRICES.........CAUSE NOW IT'S GONNA COST US MORE TO DRIVE TO THE LAKE HOUSE.......while our young men and women , are embroiled in this quagmire . AS FOR ME MR. JACO......I'LL CHOOSE THE EXAMPLE SET BY MY GRAND PARENTS.........MY COUNTRY RIGHT OR WRONG.....And I don't have the magic pill either to make this all end.......But I'm going to support my Brothers and Sisters by paying whatever price I must pay on the homefront..........and on the Battlefield . My purpose is not to discredit you or belittle your opinion .......You certainly have every right to your opinion as does everyone else  .
