Well I have been ranting and raving forever about this but it is getting worse. All you fatties who celebrate the restrictions on smokers get ready to join us as outcasts of society. By the way in case you cannot tell by my name, I am also a fattie. I will be a double outcast. hahahahahah
Massachusetts Proposes Weighing, Measuring Students

BOSTON — Massachusetts is expanding anti-obesity efforts by requiring major restaurant chains to prominently post calorie counts for their fare either at the counter or on the menu.
The Patrick administration plan also includes height and weight measurements for all public school first-, fourth-, seventh-, and 10th-graders, to determine whether they are overweight. Results would be sent home to parents along with diet and exercise recommendations.
I do not know if people are allowed to recommend books on here but if so I would like to recommend "In The Grip of Grace" by Max Lucado". I pray constantly for a better understanding of God's love and grace and this book has really helped. He is teaching on the book of Romans and the subject is one even Paul had trouble explaining to people. So many people confuse grace with permission to do wrong and this book delves into that also.

Hello,
I hope all had a Merry Christmas and wish everyone a happy new year. I have been on this blog site for nearly two years but have not been posting much because of my coal fired steam modem at home. Takes forever to do anything, however I have now moved into the 20th century (I know I am still a century behind) but now I have broad band and will be able to converse via blog. I have a T1 line at work but my boss frowns on me spending all day on the web.
I have been here and reading a lot on this site for the past 16 or so months and have to say I am still amazed at all the fussing that goes on. But I guess that is why some people enjoy it. I see people leaving forever and then coming back a week or two later. Just so you will know, I don't argue with anyone. I will share my wisdom of 60 years (or lack thereof) from time to time and comment on other blogs. Feel free to agree or disagree or think I should be sent to the funny farm. I like to get comments on my blog but will delete any that sink to the use of profanity. I used to cuss a lot when I was a kid but after I learned enough of the english language I pretty well got that out of my vocabulary.
Except when I whack my thumb with a hammer.
OFG.
