What Highway 40 Shutdown?

We're about two weeks into the Highway 40 shutdown and the world has not come to an end! It's not always convenient but I think St. Louisans are adapting very well.  I take I-44 now and it moves right along. I have to admit.. I thought it would be a lot worse than it is. How about you?

I think it was more hype than issue....lol

I am directly affected by the 40 shut down but it has not been a big deal at all to go a different route. Getting there takes me 5 minutes more and coming home not even that.

HWY 44 West towards Fenton now comes to a complete stop around Chrysler in the evenings. Same for 141. If you look for it, it is there. (extra traffic)

We could say that many of the corporate CEOs has now been punished with this highway 40 shutdown. This is their favorite highway. The highway seems to be their road to what we call stupidity. And now it's has been taken away from them. Now if they feel they have to talk on cell phones, they may be stuck with the bus.
