With modern  technology what is to come...??

logansrun.jpg logans run image by rsteventylersoylent_green.jpg ..... image by lifeless1984weird_science.jpg Weird Science image by NINA_97236

I think the first Sci Fi shows I can remember would be the Outer Limits and the Twilight Zone...... I have always loved a good Science Fiction movie..... Logans Run and Soylent Green were a couple that have stuck in my head over the years because they are actually things that could happen in the future world...... A lot of hidden meaning as to the future of mankind..... We all loved E T.....  Independance Day and there are still a lot of Trekies left in the world...... With the age of computer enhancement I am expecting unique new creations to come out in the next few years...... So what would make a great Sci Fi......What would you recommend to rent that I might have missed....??

What was your favorite Science Fiction movie of all time.....??

What are some of your favorites from the past...??

mr wild. I believe it is from the mid 80's
with Dennis Quaid, Louis Gossett Jr.,
It comes to mind when I think of old sci-fi
movies.

Tommy, rent enemy mine, you will dig it. Lou Gosset and Dennis Quaid are excellent in it.
But the best movie, War of the Worlds. The remake was good, but the original is the best.

There are so many great Sci Fi movies........

Another good movie. I liked I' Robot also. And who can forget Men in Black.
Both The Final Countdown And The Philedelphia Experiment involve ships, maybe that is why.
The Final Countdown has the Nimitz goung back to the day before Pearl Harbor was attacked.
The Philedelphia Experiment was a test for radar cloaking that sent the ship into a dimensional time rift.
Oh God! I am a sci fi geek!
Live long and prosper!

Tommy, how is Star Wars not in your list? I mean, STAR WARS!

Someone mentioned it, and I am glad they did, because it is one of my favorites - Children of Men. Great story and some of the best looking action I have ever seen.

I really like The Matrix. Very well shot, interesting and compelling story, and amazing action and effects (especially for its time). The sequels are okay, but the first is a must see.

I've never even heard of Enemy Mine. I'll check it out. And War of the Worlds (the original) is one of my dad's favorite movies.

I watched E.T. endlessly as a little kid . . . still love it.
