As a mom of a model who moved here 4 years ago to support my daughters career, the initiation of the LA CLUB SCENE was immediate! It is well accepted here for underage young people to party at alot of clubs in LA, and even encouraged! CLUB PROMOTERS prey on young, attractive, underage celebs, and newcomers, and up in coming young people in the entertainment world. The club owners know and work with the promoters. It helps promote their club as a hip, fresh, place to be seen. It encourages more business when you have young girls/boys dancing and partying and having fun...who needs a fake I.D.? These club owners should be held accountable! It makes my job as a parent tougher, when it is an accepted practice to allow and encourage under age 21 young people to party down at their clubs to benefit their business and revenue. If the LA law enforcement or LA Mayor were to venture into these clubs they would truly see what goes on...and its not just drinking! I even had LA police come to my home to intercept a club promoter (who was 35 yrs. old) coming to pick my daughter (17 yrs. old) up to take her to a club for a celeb party! Needless to say that was one club she didnt attend that night. But as long as the clubs encourage and allow, I dont care what they say, they all do it...then the kids will come. When will law enforcement and the Mayor wake up to this problem...I've been there and seen what goes on, and its a parents worse nightmare. But hey it seems to be the "NORM" in LA and an acceptable practice, 21 or not, law or no law, it's LA!
