Overheard at the election....

My parents still live in the house I grew up in, and they have voted at the same location, Beverly Hills Park, since that poll has opened.  And not ONE time has that poll ever been as crowded as it was Tuesday.  They had to park almost a quarter of a mile away, and walking to the center, they passed a woman returning to her car.  She was on a cell phone, and talking loud enough for my parents to overhear.  (Plus my mom is nosy.  I get it from her, what can I say?)   She said, and I quote...

"Fine, you vote for that jerk, and you may as well pack your bags cause your headed right back to Iraq!!"  and clicked the phone shut.

She made eye contact with my mom and said, "You heard that?"  Mom nodded, and apologized for being nosy.  Woman didn't mind.  Turns out, she's married to a soldier, who has only been home from Iraq for six months. 

She voted for Barack.  Hmm. Wonder who her husband is voting for?

Chris: My husband, who has in the past voted straight party Republican ticket, also voted for Obama. This time around, there are no divisions.

If she's voting for Ombama we won't have to worry about going to Iraq cause it will be coming here.
I think anyone voting for Oboma or Clinton should read

You can only blame Yourselves when Obama does what He intends to do . Please read the Communist Manifesto and You will be amazed that it goes right in line with many of the things that Barak Obama has said. He truly believes that His way is right but so did Stallin, who wrote it. P.B.Mom You are obviously intelligent but I urge You to educate Yourself on this issue that literally is the difference between freedom and death, and once You have seen the light don't forget to help others to understand that we all must stand together or we will be devided and conquered. this is and has been the goal of many and today we stand at the threshold of it. May God the Father open Your eyes.

tonys_girl may want to check out a story in today's Chronicle. Page A7 states flat out that Al Queda has NO link to Iraq, and the PENTAGON itself found that the "bulletproof" PRE-war evidence was BOGUS. I'd like to know where Tony's girl gets her information.

Anyone with half a brain knows that all but
TWO of the 9/11 terrorists came from Saudi Arabia. The other two were Pakistani and Turkish, I believe.

I do not and will not vote for Hilary if, by chance, she gets the nomination. I do believe she IS communist. But I don't believe that of Obama.

Tony's Girl: That is a typical Bush administration regurgitation about not fighting them here. Trust me, if they wanted to come here, our ports and borders are wide open. Did you not read about the JFK attacks that were halted. How about the ricin that they found in a Las Vegas hotel about a couple of weeks ago. Ricin is worse than anthrax and easier to make. The Bush administration uses that line to create fear and to justify their invasion. Al Quaeda was not in Iraq until we got there; the Iraqi people think Al Quaeda is worse scum of the Earth than we are and the previous "insurgents" in Iraq have now joined forces with the US to get Al Quaeda out of their country. Now we gave them our guns and said you have to promise us that you won't use these against our soldiers. Give me a break. Did they not learn anything when the US financed and trained Osama's people for the fight in Afghanistan against the Soviets? You need to read a little more and stop regurgitating lines from the Bush administration.
