If you live in the St. Louis area, you are probably familiar with this question!  This seems to be the standard ice-breaker to conversation in all circles here.  Okay, you don't have to say WHERE you went to high school (unless you want to!) but do tell me the craziest thing you did during that time in your life.  A friend was just telling me today about getting banned for life from Steak and Shake for driving off without paying his bill!  Oh, the silly things we did at that age!!

Go ahead....tell me your high school dirt!

well the only thing i can come up with is .. my graduating year the school was on strike but we were supposed to show up anyway sign in and stay at school all day until the buses took us home .. if we were there we would at least get credit for being there and we didnt have to make up the time we lost out on .. I would drive to school and me and a friend of mine would sign in and leave for the rest of the day and go hang out with other friends that were doing the same thing .. guess thats not really bad .. I never really got in trouble for anything other than beating up a guy on my bus for hitting a girl.. I got suspended for 5 days ... I told the principal i would do it again if i needed to because i dont beleive in hitting girls ...

I played football for my school, Brentwood that is. Not to suprising, I was bigger than most of the teachers. Somehow I got a reputation as a bad ass, nothing could be farther from the truth. But it worked good for the kids that got bullied all the time. If I saw it or heard of it I took care of the bully's in short order. Never have liked them sort of people. Got to the point where if a jerk saw me coming they just went the other way.

We'll lets see.... I guess the statue of limitations have expired.... Releasing chickens loose in the halls on animal day was fun..... Have you ever watched a Principal chase a chicken down the hall...Priceless

Filling all the urinals and camodes in the bathroom with Dry Ice...... Smokey....

Pouring Sepiatone in the Furnace vents... It was a bad fart smell that just would'nt go away for hours......

Other than that I was a pretty normal child...

Oh .... the question.... I went to Northwest High School.....

I just read some of these responses to Faith, and she was laughing out loud! When I got to Mr. Wild's, she says "Wow! I want to do something bad at school like that someday"! Yeah, thanks, Tommy.....!

ClassicSport....you are a little kisser, huh?

And Mechany...never ever thought of you as a bully! You seem like a big teddy bear, but I bet you could be tough with someone who was being bad! Someone like Mr. Wild....HA!!!

Okay Mechany, here's how I handled a bully once....

My partner in crime during high school was Patti. We got fed up with Sue, who bullied everyone and thought she was "it". So we went shopping for a pie, and it was piled high with meringue (the fluffy white stuff on top). We planned this out so carefully.....waited for Sue to go in the bathroom and when she came out, Patti put the pie right in her face! I had my camera and took a picture of it all!!

We knew this would get us In School Suspension, but it was SO WORTH IT!! She was nicknamed "Pieface" for a long time after that....and she stopped being such a bully!!

Didn’t do much at McClure North High School. The Boy Scouts is a different story. We (myself and one or two other co-conspirators) did the usual shaving cream in a hand and tickling a young Scout’s nose, putting syrup in some shoe during summer camp – never knew there were so many ants, and the underwear up a flagpole – have a picture. Also taping saran plastic wrap over the seats of the latrine.

snoring in hammock

I guess my favorite was one time we put a marshmallow just in the mouth of a leader who snored like a bear (even though I have never heard a bear snore). He kept blowing the marshmallow out of his mouth. We did every thing we could to keep from laughing out loud. Then we put toothpaste in a nice curly design on his face. The next morning he had a nice design on his face from the toothpaste plus he said he had a marshmallow taste in his mouth. That is when we lost it but never got accused of the crime.

Good ol Edwardsville High School in Illinois. There were many as I recall now which makes me feel like I shouldn't wonder if my daughter's lost her mind at some of the things she does, she evidently inherited it,lol.

One I remember, I was the captain of our marching bands color guard and we hated the uppity instructor they hired that year so one night after practice a bunch of us found his house which was in a high crest neighborhood and TP'd his house, wrapped his porch in plastic wrap and poured syrup and corn curls to anything it would stick to, anyway the next morning my dad was reading a local paper and it read that an elderly couples house had been vandalized. They were so cool. They were in the house and watched us do it, placing everything in its place. They said we were doing such a good job they just let us go,lol. Dad said "you didn't have anything to do with this by chance?" We felt terrible and went to clean it up. The house we meant to get was across the street : )

Michelle I saw about the bully thing LOL that was funny..I never been bullyed by kids but by teachers I suer was..Because I had 4 older sisters who all got good grades..Teachers thay had I ended up with and thought I should get good grades like they did..I was picked on by teachers a lot they would even embaress me in front of the class...

But I had a lot of kids who realy liked me they protected me from grade school all way to high school...Teaches picked and oe or more of them would stand up and say something like...

Miss Love Cindy din't do anything wrong and she did her best so why pick on her...Then the teacher would sit down leave me alone LOL..

Problem was I was in reaglar classes and it took the school system 9years to figer was not ment to be in them classes...Finaly in 10th grade they put me in special classes and things wer much better for me and I learned much more...

Teachers can be very mean for all the wrong reasons..I learned not to trust teachers in my 12 years I only had 2 teachers I ever liked because they cared anof to try thee best to help me...

I wish I had a teacher like Mr.Wild because I can tell he is omne of thoes teachers who cares...

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore....and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past; there's a reason they didn't make it to your future. Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle! ~m
