HELP CONVINCE MY FRIEND TO BLOG!!

Do you have friends who aren't bloggers, but like to read your blogs?  We have a friend like that....good family friend....and he gets to his  office every day at Charter and likes to see if I wrote any new blogs.  He knows most of you by blog name just from doing this.  We nicknamed him "The Stallion" years ago, and that has stuck.  If I could convince him to just sign up and blog, that would be a perfect blog name for him!!  This is the email I received from The Stallion this morning....

So….I haven’t checked your blog in a week or so and decided to “peek in” to see what’s going on in your  lives.  (Remember, your blog is the only way I can keep in touch with you popular peeps these days! J)  It has been an hour away from TWO WEEKS since your last blog!!!! What’s up with that?  Are you still alive?  Has a crazed blogger kidnapped you?  Are you all tied up in your basement?  If you have access to your computer downstairs and your hands are tied behind your back,  wait for your kidnapper to go take a leak or something, put a pencil in your mouth, hit reply to this email and type the secret word “stallion”.  If I get an email with that one word in the subject line, I will alert the local authorities and send help!  Stay strong!  Help is only  a few mouth-induced #2 pencil keystrokes away!   

Orrrrrrrrr…..have you seen all there is to see in the world, embarrassed everyone on your list in life, hit all of your desired vacation spots,  seen every concert you ever wanted to see, etc….and just don’t have anything to “blog” about?  Surely one of these has to be the reason you’ve been MIA for dern near two weeks now!

 

  Help me to convince this smart- alec friend of mine to blog with us!!

I can't even remember why we started calling him that to begin with....probably some wild thing he did when he was single....HA! I remember when Faith was born, he came to the hospital and gave her this stuffed horse that had a tag on it that said "Stallion"...she still has that!

Stallion....DON'T DO IT! They'll beat you up physically, mentally, and even emotionally on here. Gosh, doesn't that happen at home too much! Just say no - enjoy your free time while you can!

Sooo, you work for Charter...huh - there'll be some rippage there. I would not include that in your bio.

MICHELLE!!! Where have you been???? I was beginning to think like your friend, Stallion.
Glad you aren't actually tied up in your basement! lol

Stallion, maybe you could just start out by commenting on blogs and gradually build up to writing your own...I hope you decide to take the plunge and join us!!

I am here Superjay!! I am NOT tied up in my basement...just have had a busy month!

Was just talking to Mr.Wild on the phone and he was looking through his blogs and telling me all the ones I haven't commented on. He goes "you didn't even give me a hug on my Hug Blog"! Talk about guilt.....I have to be a better blogger...I told Tommy I will make it up to him and he may be begging me NOT to comment anymore; might get sick of seeing me on his blog!! :)

Come on Stallion. Blog with us. Give the girls a thrill. I am sure all of us willl have a mental image of you with a name like that and I know you will "ENJOY" blogging with everyone. Sounds like you have a great sense of humor so know you will have a blast here.
Agree though, DO NOT MENTION CHARTER!!!!!!!!
Now get off they butt and get in here with your friend Michelle. She's great and if you are a friend of her's I am sure you are too.

Come on...blog during lunch at least - that's what I am doing today. I definitely would not mention the Charter employment since that'll start you out on the wrong foot. Speaking of Charter for the first time in many many years I actually did NOT speak with a broken English foreigner! I told the girl from Wisconsin that I appreciated her knowledge and ease of conversation.

So...blog - it's fun and actually educational to some extent.

Yeah, I talked with the Stallion just this morning, and he is showing some lingering resistance to blogging....says he "doesn't have the time" (you know how it is with those big execs at Charter!)...I still say we will win him over to the dark side soon!

Jana, you have not met The Stallion. He was friends with Paul before we met and was in our wedding. He and his wife are really good friends with Paul's sister and brother-in-law.
