Our founding fathers left England for America because of the taxes that were being placed upon them. and other freedoms.

It seems to me we are reverting back to what we left England for in the first place. If you take your paycheck and count up the taxes that are being removed it is usally 30 percent.

Then if you buy anything, add up the taxes they impose. For Illinois its 7.25%, god help you if you buy gas, they impose a state and federal tax on every gallon. tobbaco products get even more.

If you use a phone, electric, water, or sewer you get even more taxes.  add all the taxes up and your giving up close to 50% of your paycheck.

Dosent this make you feel great that your elected officals are doing a great job. and we have these idiots running around asking for our vote so they can tax us more and make stupid laws that have nothing to do with real problems that are going on.
