Reported today on CNN :
"Illegal immigrants connected to Mexico's drug cartels are growing hundreds of millions of dollars worth of marijuana in the heart of one of America's national treasures, authorities say. "
Silly me, I thought they were just here to do the jobs Americans are too lazy to do......I get it, I get it, our land MUST be better to grow on?!?!
God forbid we arrest any of them, it may look like racism, racial profiling, hatred, ya'da ya'da ya'da......
When will it be enough? I know, maybe they will shoot and kill the president next year and we may, maybe not though, start THINKING ABOUT TAKING OUR DOG GONE COUNTRY BACK!!!!!
whats the ol saying again?
1st time their fault, 2nd time our fault? Why on earth would they leave? Why would they even consider stopping what they do? We continue to do jack squat about this problem, and we wonder why they wont leave....??? I think its no longer right to point blame at them, we continue to do nothing, they continue to run all over us, so who's fault is it???

First I would like to send out my prayers to the familys of the teens killed in last nights car accidents........I'm so very sorry for your tragic loss of a child. Nothing is more unnatural than a child going before you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, I weep with you all, I am so so sorry for your loss, words cant even express.......
The part of these accidents I found most mind shattering, was the fact that NONE of the kids were wearing their saftey belts!!!! Now I say car accidents, and not accident because there was more than one! Two last night that took 2 lives possilby 4 and now this morning a teen tried to beat a train and lost....the two girls in that accident were air lifted and one is is in critical condition, the one without her belt on!!!!! The roll over on German last night killed one....the one without his belt on.....its amazing the accident on 153 didnt take more loved ones, because not a single teen had their belts on, not one!!!
Where are the limits on being "cool" How cool is it not to wear a seatbelt? It cant possibly be cool enough to risk your own life and or life of others. Why ? All I can ask is why? I would love and invite all young adults to please enlighten me on the purpose of not securing yourselves in the vehicle??? Your parents, brothers, sisters, friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, aunts/uncles grandparents wont mind if youre not the "cool" kid in school...trust me, they wont care! They love you, they need you and cant live without you......I'm sure they leave you all with a hug in the morning tell you to have a good day at school and be safe....please, please, please take them seriously, they mean it, not to cause you harm or heartache and most certianly not to make you the dork at school.....they do it for good reason.....they want you to come home at night, they love you! Please wear your belts, please, its soooo not worth the price you may have to pay.
I'm a mother of a 13 yr old boy and after seeing all three of these stories, I ran into his room hugged him and reminded him to ALWAYS wear his belt, and if his "friends" give him crap for it, I want him to say that being cool is just not worth my life and by the way, its not worth yours either!
We have finally got a generation that doesnt smoke ciggarettes because its no longer "cool" when can we change the un-coolness of saftey belts??

I have a question. Why does the news talk about the strugling economy EVERY DAY?!?! Gas prices are high, home sales are down, food is expensive, foreclosure foreclosure foreclosure......I'm just wondering, if the news is there to give us whats "new" why then air this bad crap everyday all day long 24/7??? I have an idea, when it changes let us know....
whats going on right now reminds me of the days/weeks/months following 9/11...the news would say scary scary scary, terror alert terror alert....and no one would leave their homes, travel or do ANYTHING....why? because misery loves company, agony loves company, and good news doesnt sell.....but as soon as the media shut up about eminent terror threats, people slowly but surely got back into the swing of things, traveling, buying, etc etc.
maybe I'm a dreamer, but I truly believe words are very powerful. Can you imagine if you found out you had cancer and everyday the Dr. called you to remind you that you had cancer? "uh, hi miss jones, this is your Dr. and I wanted to make sure you knew today you had cancer....your gunna die" that person would lye there thinking of only death....I actually had a friend of mine that had a very fast deadly form of bone cancer and the Dr. said no luck, your gunna die....he said screw you doc, went to the gym, excercised and said to himself everyday, you will beat this you will, you will beat this. Guess what? That was 10yrs ago and he doesnt have a trace of cancer.
its depressing watching the news and if you change the channel, there's a "special" airing about the eminent recession (sp?)upcoming foreclosures and high gas prices.....why? Can someone enlighten me on why we need to hear about this everyday all day long???

Ya gotta love OJ. The guy is a true laugh riot! Back in Jail for violation of probation for contacting (or trying to contact) a witness in his Las Vegas trial. Does this guy just want to see how far he can push the system? How much he can get away with?
too bad we cant arrest people for just being a dumb butt!
I hope he has to stay there until a jury settles him once and for all. What do ya'll think should happen to Oj?

Its amazing as the Holidays come upon us, how wrapped up we can get in our own lives and personal woes....who will make the turkey, what will Santa get me, do I have to spend that much this yr etc. etc.....but at the end of each day, lets try and remember whats important, really important......and please, lets not forget that America IS at WAR.....sometimes it can be easy to forget because we are not fighting on our land, but our brave men/women are fighting and they dont care who makes the turkey or if grandma is going to sleep through dinner, but they do want to know that they are thought of, cared for and not forgotten over there.....I say thank you for fighting, thank you for doing the job, I just wouldnt have the courage to do....Merry Christmas soldiers, Happy Hanukkha, Happy Kwanza and I hope that you will all return home soon. God bless you all and Godspeed your return.
I came across this website today, and for those who have not seen it yet, I wanted to share it with you all and when you are deciding what perfume to get your honey, what slippers to buy, or who may be cooking the turkey, maybe you can give a gift to a soldier while youre at it....I'm sure they would appreciate it more than anything, to know that we ARE thinking of them and their efforts and most of all, that they are not forgotten during this wonderful Holiday season~
