We were given this day to remember those that have passed away, especially those that served this country so we have the right to post blogs like this. I watched as many gas guzzelers chose to make it harder for the working man by driving down the highways for their own enjoyment. I listen to commercials that want you to shop Macy's or buy a Chevy but what does this have to do with rememberance? Those that remain open on Monday to pick our pockets should have the respect to at least offer a military discount but most don't even acknowledge the day for what it is. I give hats off to only 2 store that will give a discount to our forces Goody's and Foot Locker will give our service personnel a discount for them and their families that are trying to make ends meet. So J.C. are you seeing red like me?

We have laws that deport ILLEAGAL persons from our land, and laws that were to penalize employers that hire those without legal status. What we do NOT need is new laws, just someone willing to ENFORCE the laws we have. The time has come for us to recall ALL officials that refuse to use the laws and rewrite them for persons other than LEGAL, LAW-ABIDING, TAX PAYING CITIZENS!

Many people posted a comment on my bog so I'll try again.
I was raised by a mother that married and divorced 9 times ( I lived through 6). I was spanked and some would say abused (Mom used a fly swatter and coat hanger.) I suffered great illness at 16 and never finished high school but I now have a BS in Criminal Justice. I work everday in a place that most of you have no concept of or want to know about (prison.) I see how society uses excuses daily to let people be free of responsibitily for their actions. Mental health? Most are excuses that say I don't want to take care of myself. Those that are really a problem , like our shooter, were kept in assylums to protect the public. But of course that cost TAX dollars that can go in someone's pocket. Any problem we have an be excused if we want to deny the truth, but every time we do this today ask yourself, "would I want a child to do this?" Say a prayer and tell one person that they are a part of OUR world today and see a smile that you might have missed.

We need to return to the class room with a STRICT code of ethics. We need to begin in the 1st grade teaching a child how to deal with hurt, anger and rejection. Too many families are NOT teaching these coping lessons as our buldging prision system shows. Is it that important for a child to know algebra that we forget to instruct them how to get along with people in the world? Yes, prayer in school would help but barring the Supreme Court changing it's view, we need anger management.
