Here's the deal, there's nobody in this entire nation that can't claim some ethnic heritage that was enslaved or held back or cheated or lied to. Sadly that is just the way it is. My Irish forebears knew what it was to have the Klan ride on them in Central Texas. My Native American forebears knew about the Trail of Tears personally. They all rose above it. All of them. They went to school, outdid the hicks and made good. They became landowners and business owners and sheriff's and even the first phone operator in Oklahoma territory. So if we give back to just one group, we are slighting all the others that came before them and after them who were just as poorly treated. When it comes right down to it, do you know of any group that has been more maligned than the Jewish population? Yet from that group we have stories of immense personal success. Who is first in line?

If it wasn't for women, this would be a perfect world. There would be no need for liberal fantasy worlds.

Oh and something else just struck me. Blacks want us to apologize for slaverly... no. If it wasn't for our ancestors bringing your ancestors over here to be slaves, you wouldn't even be here to begin with! So how bout a thank you.
