I want one of those!
I have no idea what a "bed credit" auto loan consists of but it sure makes my fantasies run wild.
If there are shapely blondes involved I definitely want one!
Makes me wonder if the blogging real estate gals on here are taking on part time jobs.
The melt down of our Big Three auto conglomeration is not all gloom and doom.
At last count our erstwhile senate majority leader, Harry Reid, a Democrat with an 8 percent approval rating, is providing some much needed comic relief,
Reid began crawfishing on the Senate proposal for a bailout for Detroit's Big Three -- and started doing a combination sidestep and backstroke toward a Republican alternative proposal.
In what has to be one of the most thought provoking statements uttered by a Democrat this year, Reid told the media:
"We have to face reality," Reid said.
However, he failed to identify whether this is reality as perceived by Barak Obama, Nancy Pelosi or Howard Dean.
Writers have taken Reid's statement and are trying to combine it with the General Motors board of directors vote upholding the CEO who bankrupted the company, Rick Wagoner -- into a new TV reality series
Survivor -- Capitol Hill
Watch for it debuting any day now -- on the Comedy Channel of course.
Officials of the Dallas Independent School District are freely admitting in the media that they have issued fake and fraudulent social security numbers to get workers on the payroll more quickly.
Is this just another in a series of bad decisions and actions on the DISD?
Or is it a criminal activity that should be investigated and those involved in it brought to justice and imprisoned to pay for their crimes?
Lets look at other instances of this occurring:
On May 12, 2008, FBI agents in Postville IA raided one of the largest meat processors in the nation and arrested more than 300 people who are now in custody and awaiting trial.
They were using fake social security numbers to get employees on the payroll -- THE EXACT SAME THING DISD IS ADMITTING TO DOING.
The only difference is the criminals in DISD are still walking the streets with NO FEAR of being held accountable for what they have done.
What can we do about it?
First of all each one of us can file a claim with the Social Security Administration through the Inspector General's office.
You can file this online by going to this address:
http://www.ssa.gov/oig/guidelin.htm
You will be directed to an online complaint form asking for personal information including your SS number.This is a safe site so providing it is safe.
The final question in the personal section asks "Are you a victim of the alleged violation/fraud.
IF YOU PAY TAXES TO THE DISD BE SURE YOU ANSWER THIS QUESTION YES!
Then you will have a short series of questions identifying who you are filing this complaint against. Simply fill in the DISD, its business address and phone number.
At the bottom is a comments section where you describe how the DISD is knowingly issuing fraudulent social security numbers -- details of that are available in all the local news media.
It will take some time but I guarantee you, if enough of these complaints start pouring in on a daily basis someone in the federal government is at least going to have to respond.
Aside from that call the local offices of your U.S. representative and senators and demand a federal investigation.
Also call the FBI local field office, Homeland Security and the U.S. Attorneys office and tell them you want this mess investigated and stopped/
If you want to make a difference you can.
Or you can set back and gripe about all this till those idiots come up with something new to fleece you with.
