And now our next babbling idiot who is known for being a Maverick ( Or a Mercury Comet when he's feeling frisky) the Presidential Candidate from Arizona who occasionally needs to be reminded who the bad guys are-Let's just skip the applause-Senator John McCain
And here is McSames two cents regarding nuclear power and oil:
SEN. JOHN McCAIN: My dear friends, nuclear power must be part of
any equation that leads to addressing climate change and also leads to
addressing reduction of our dependence on foreign oil. You know, we
always love to imitate the French. The French, 80 percent of their
electricity in France is generated by nuclear power. We either got to
reprocess it or store it.
We always love to imitate the French?????? I'm sorry-what the hell does he mean by that? In 2003, we were told to hate the French. And how are we supposed to imitate a people in a country that we always have to bail out of a war? WWI, WWII, and the mess they started in Vietnam! Do any of you imitate the French? Well, if one shops at Target-I guess that would apply.
Is he referring to the French again? Can someone ask Leiberman to make sure John McBush is talking about the Nuclear waste please.

Our first contestant is a man who is determined to stay the course-even thought there may not be a complete plan , we stay the course anyway -Unless of course it's a Golf Course, of course . Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls, and to all America-Introducing Our Very Own President George W. Bush ( Applause!!!) hello? I said APPLAUSE!!! Thank you...
On Tuesday July 15, 2008 President Bush addressed nuclear power at a news conference Tuesday and
hailed it as a way to reduce American dependence on oil and protect the
environment.
PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH: This is just a transition period. I
mean, all of us want to get away from reliance upon hydrocarbons, but
it’s not going to happen overnight. You know, one of these days, people
are going to be using battery technologies in their cars. You’ve heard
me say this a lot, and I’m confident it’s going to happen. And, you
know, the throwaway line, of course, is that your car won’t have to
look like a golf cart. But the question then becomes, where are we
going to get electricity? And that’s why I’m a big believer in nuclear
power, to be able to make us less dependent on oil and better stewards
of the environment. But there is a transition period during the
hydrocarbon era, and it hasn’t ended yet, as our people now know.
Gasoline prices are high.
I have a couple comments, statements, questions, and a couple head scratching "HUH?'s"
1) Correct me if I am wrong but, haven't we been using these "Battery Technologies" already? Every car has a battery, electric cars have been in use for many years-we just have not chosen to take advantage of them. Oh! there are the hybrid cars that until recently, most Americans snubbed their noses at until Gas hit 4.50 a gallon. The Buses I take are also hybrid-they came out in 2002.
2) I knew it -he hasn't stopped playing golf.
3) Please correct me IF I am wrong but, according to my SCE electric bill statement, the power they generate comes from Natural Gas, Nuclear, Hydro, Solar, and Wind. Other parts of the Country also use Coal. So, how will more nuclear power plants make us less dependent on oil?
4)"As our people now know"? They just figured this out all by themselves? Kudos!
5) I think someone brought to his attention that gas is approaching $4.00 a gallon.
Mr President, when was the last time YOU filled up YOUR tank with YOUR money? was this statement for us to show that you empathize or was it a statement to the stockholders at Exxon/Mobil?
Stay tuned for part two when I review Senator John McCains opinions on Nuclear Power and his French Connection

The rhetoric we hear reminds me of a short bald drama queen of years past pounding his fist and- with the fury of a man riding the wave of a steroid overdose- shouts "We Will Bury You".
Accusations and rhetoric spew from three orifices and one constantly wonders whether the words eminate from the oral or the anal cavities. The first orifice I speak of is Prime Minister Olmert from Israel-who really could use the rallying power of a Holy war as a distraction to the latest bribery scandal accusations between himself and Long Islands own "Laundry Man" Morris Talansky. The next orifice spewing Words-O-War is our very own President George W. Bush. The same man who has gotten us in not one but TWO wars that will go down in history as the biggest and costliest military blunders ever (have we tried a Hail Mary yet?) He along with the Dark Overlord Richard Bruce Cheney and their parrot Condi Rice are using the same threat to our Nation-WMD's-that they used to scare us for a reason to invade Iraq. Screw me once, Shame on YOU but, screw me twice and Shame on ME! 16 government agencies all agree that Iran abandond it's nuclear weapons program several years ago and is not a threat to anyone. President bush seems to disagree. WHO THE HELL HIRED THE PEOPLE THAT RUN THESE 16 GOVERNMENT AGENCIES? George W. Bush did. And now our third orifice, President Ahmedinajhad of Iran. Somebody PLEASE teach this guy diplomacy! There are nicer ways to tell the US and Israel to "piss-off" other than telling them directly to "piss-off". I 'm sure he's under pressure in his own Country to appear strong and making consessions may give an appearence of weakness-can everyone smell the testosterone? This is not really much different than gang bangers waiving finger gestures at each other but with higher stakes.
Now, imagine this-Israel and the United States Air force attack Iran's Nuclear Reactor sites and military installations. Cake walk like "Shock and Awe" hopes and expectations are quickly humbled as Iran downs our planes with their Russian surface to air missles. EACH Nuclear Reator site we hit in Iran becomes a Chernobyl. Iran retaliates with missle strikes on Israel and their Nuclear Reators sites become Chernobyls. Iran also takes out mutiple oils tankers and several US Navy warships with their Russian built ground to sea missles that travel at Mach 2.5. Their 540,000 troops then pour into Iraq -each soldier wanting revenge on Americans and our troops have one escape route and that is thru Turkey-and It becomes a Turkey shoot.
At this point, it is very possible that to protect whats left of our troops in Iraq we unleash the tactical nukes-that is unless Israel hasn't beaten us to the dreaded red buttons As days pass, the Dollar tanks in value, stock markets around the world crash so hard that it makes 1929 seem like a speed bump and a barrel of oil hits???????????
H. Con.
Res. 362 in the House with 220 sponsors- If this thing passes, it would
be comparable to placing the barrel of a loaded gun into the mouth of
our Country. I am utterly bewildered with the lack of foresight in
Congress and mad as hell of the possibility that the lobbying powers of
AIPAC have bought the whole process-lock, stock, and Congressman. If you do not want to see the fall of the United States of America, at least the America we know, call your Congressmen and tell them NO BLOCKADE, NO WAR with IRAN.

Either Senator McCain has trouble remembering the details correctly or, he does not care if the facts are correct at all as long as it sounds good and gets him votes. Either way, Senator Mc Cain and Senator Obama will NOT be receiving my vote this November.

crocs-070708.jpgFictional"Five years ago, the outdoor footware company Crocs was started by a
couple of entrepreneurs with a great idea, ingenuity and drive. This
former small business now employs 600 people in Colorado alone and
sells over 50% of its products in 90 countries around the world.
Building barriers to Crocs or any American company’s access to foreign
markets will have a devastating effect on our economy and jobs and the
prosperity of American families."
Non-FictionalTruth be told: Crocs weren’t invented by “a couple of entreprenuers”
in Colorado, let alone by Duke Hansen. They weren’t even invented in
America. They were invented in that Great Frozen Socialist Paradise to
the north. You read that right: ugly neon-hued foam shoes are another
diabolical innovation for which we can Blame Canada.
The company that invented them was subsequently bought by Hansen and
two other aforementioned Colorado entrepreneurs, who added the cute
name and the marketing gloss. But the shoes are still made abroad — in
Quebec, where the employees come pre-equipped with their own health
insurance. Or at least, they were until recently: in April, the company
announced that 270 jobs at the Quebec City plant would be moved to a
new plant in Mexico. Rumors abound that the entire Canadian operation
may soon close, and all manufacturing will move south.
In other words: it’s another Great American Business that does most
of its business elsewhere. Six hundred US jobs is a fine thing — but it
would be many, many more if they were actually made here, too. [..]

I once had hope-he is of a younger generation, he has NOT spent 30 years or more in Washington D.C. making political ties with lobbyists and other politicians who over the years have sold OUR Country out. He claimed to have NOT voted to approve this horrible and senseless war that has now broken the US Military. He said he would end this war if elected. He said he would bring change.
OH, Please Obama- I think you are no different than John McBush. You have "Flip-Flopped on several issues now which include FISA and campaign funding so I don't see any difference between you and John Mc Flipflop. And to top it off, you kissed AIPAC'S [...].
The Media tells us that we have two Presidential choices and that we ONLY have a two party system -The "Demoncraps" and the "Repulsivcan'ts" and all I see is one named Barack Obackonhisword and John McBush. There is hope for us and it is time to stop listening to what the Media is telling us and do the research-take initiative on your own! We have FIVE Presidential Candidates to the best of my knowlegde.
The three other's are
Ralph Nader-Independent Party
Bob Barr-Libertarian Party
Chuck Baldwin - The Constitution Party (thank you sebar!)
If there are any more please comment.
Please do NOT comment to this blog if all you intend to is bad mouth, shout out rude names & accusitions, and pointless fingerpointing. Please DO comment if you have constructive comments to add that are for the Good for ALL AMericans. This especially includes TRUTHGUYSinLA!!!!

I found this article by Robert Scheer to be rather fitting for this day when we celebrate the birth of our Great Nation-especially the excerpt from George Washington's farewell address. Sometimes I think we have not only forgotten what the true meaning of the day represents but, we have failed to teach that meaning to each emerging generation as our Country has grown. Now it seems that one must appear to be patriotic out of fear of verbal retaliation-Our Nations Flag is constantly thrown in our faces in the backgrounds of News programs, on Tee shirts, in profile pictures, and on soda bottles that once the contents of flavored sugar water is consumed the container-WITH OUR NATIONS FLAG ON IT-is discarded as liter. Our Nation is a living thing, Our Flag represents our Nation therefore IS a living thing which should NOT be marketed nor used to prove ones political views for this, my fellow Americans may be percieved as "Pretend Patriotism" and will be a sign that we have lost our way.
Excerpt from "The U.S. Is Drowning In Pretend Patriotism" by Robert Scheer
Washington's "Farewell Address" to the new nation was a warning about
the threat of American imperial ambitions and a declaration of his high
expectations for a republic of free men: "In offering to you, my
countrymen, these counsels of an old and affectionate friend, I dare
not hope they will make the strong and lasting impression I could wish;
that they will control the usual current of the passions, or prevent
our nation from running the course which has hitherto marked the
destiny of nations. But, if I may even flatter myself, that they may be
productive of some partial benefit, some occasional good; that they may
now and then recur to moderate the fury of party spirit, to warn
against the mischiefs of foreign intrigue, to guard against the
impostures of pretended patriotism. ..."

What two great choices we have. The self proclaimed "Maverick" Senator John McCain - he needs Lieberman around to correct him on who the So Called bad guys are and has now earned the nickname "McBush". Then there is Senator Barack Obama-the one to bring "change" and new thinking to Washington. The one who two weeks ago kissed AIPAC's butt, who reversed his position on campaign funds and now might as well be wearing Hilary's pants suits. It would not even suprise me at all if he annouces her as his running mate.
It is now quite obvious that both these candidates are NOT who they where a year ago.
So, when I vote (I may even turn in a blank ballot in protest) I will more than likely vote for Ralph Nader. At least HE has not changed his positions to accomidate the corporations that fund both the Demoncrap and Repulsivcan parties

By Charley Reese
29/06/08 "Antiwar" -- -One gets the impression that there are some people in Washington who believe that Israel or the U.S. can bomb Iran's nuclear reactors, fly home, and it will be mission complete.
It makes you wonder if perhaps there is a virus going around that is gradually making people stupid. If we or Israel attack Iran, we will have a new war on our hands. The Iranians are not going to shrug off an attack and say, "You naughty boys, you."
Consider how much trouble Iraq has given us. Some 4,000 dead and 29,000 wounded, a half a trillion dollars in cost and still climbing, and five years later, we cannot say that the country is pacified.
Iraq is a small country compared with Iran. Iran has about 70 million people. Its western mountains border the Persian Gulf. In other words, its missiles and guns look down on the U.S. ships below it. And it has lots of missiles, from short-range to intermediate-range (around 2,200 kilometers).
More to the point, it has been equipped by Russia with the fastest anti-ship missile on the planet. The SS-N-22 Sunburn can travel at Mach 3 at high altitude and at Mach 2.2 at low altitude. That is faster than anything in our arsenal.
Iran's conventional forces include an army of 540,000 men and 300,000 reserves, including 120,000 Iranian Guards especially trained in unconventional warfare. It has more than 1,600 main battle tanks and 21,000 other armored combat vehicles. It has 3,200 artillery pieces, three submarines, 59 surface warships and 10 amphibious ships.
It's been receiving help in arming itself from China, North Korea and Russia. Unlike Iraq, Iran's forces have not been worn down with bombing, wars and sanctions. It also has a new anti-aircraft defense system from Russia that I've heard is pretty snazzy.
So, if you think we or Israel can attack Iran and not expect retaliation, I'd have to say with regret that you are a moron. If you think we could easily handle Iran in an all-out war, I'd have to promote you to idiot.
Attacking Iran would be folly, but we seem to be living in the Age of Folly. Morons and idiots took us into an unjustified war against Iraq before we had finished the job in Afghanistan. Now we have troops tied down in both countries.
For some years now, I've worried that we seem to be more and more like Colonial England – arrogant, racist, overestimating our own capacity and underestimating that of our enemies. As the fate of the British Empire demonstrates, that is a fatal flaw.
The British never dreamed that the "little yellow people" could come ashore by land and take Singapore from the rear or that they would sink the pride of the British fleet, but they did both.
I suppose no one in Washington can imagine the Iranians sinking one of our carriers in the Persian Gulf. How'd you like to be the president who has to tell the American people that we've lost a carrier for the first time since World War II?
Exactly how the Iranians will respond to an attack, I don't know, but they will respond. In keeping with our present policy, our attack on Iran would be illegal, since under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, Iran has the right to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes.
Who would have thought that we would become the rogue nation committing acts of aggression around the globe?

News
On Monday, June 9th 2008 History was made on the floor of the House of Representatives as Rep. Dennis Kucinich took 290 minutes to read 35 articles of Impeachment against George W. Bush. This was a historical event-and yet the only mainstream Media attention it received was by Keith Oberman.
Whether you agree or disagree with what Rep. Dennis Kucinich did, a HUGE historical event had occurred in our Nations Capitol. This was NOT a flickering moment that occurred in a time span of a blinking eye. This event lasted 290 minutes or roughly 10 minutes short of FIVE HOURS. Washington DC I would imagine is a city where if a politician passes wind, EVERYONE catches a whiff-including the Media.
The question we must ask is why was this Historical event no mentioned? I saw nothing on KCBS/KCAL, nothing on KNBC, and nothing on KTTV. I do not consider KABC a worthy source of anything but a Mickey Mouse show so, I removed channel 7 altogether from my TV remote.
Once again this is an issue that goes beyond whether you are for Impeachment or against. Just imagine how some of you might have felt if there was no Media coverage at the time Bruce Fein read the Articles of Impeachment against President Clinton? So once more-let us think OUTSIDE the box-not as a Democrat, not as a Republican but, as an American. Was our Media asleep or was this intentionally kept quiet and blacked out?
