Folks may as well  tune out  Don Imus  if  ya'll are going to get  offended  every time the man opens his mouth.  He is paid  HUGE  bucks to be offensive  and that's what he is going to do.  He is paid to deliver a product!   Howard Stern  is paid  millions to deliver a product at any cost!

Let go, tune out, and shut up  already.  If you don't like what you hear then  change channels.  Rude things are said about people all day long  on every street corner in every town.  He just happens to be on the network.

I second that motion. WELL THERE YOU GO, please, worst things are said daily and what gets me is the double standard. I CAN SAY IT BUT YOU CANT CAUSE OF YOUR SKIN COLOR.
Let me plug my nose cause that is biggest load of crap out there.

I agree, IMUS is a shock jock...you expect the outrageous from him.I have a rub in a different direction.....Kathy Griffin...IMUS got kicked off the air for a raciest remark...this Kathy rag got cheered for saying,,F- God.Guess which one I turn off when they come on the air.

'murphy' - I wholeheartedly agree with you! I also saw that clip of her when she so brazenly uttered those words. I hope they don't come back to 'bite her in the b***' some day! That's something that I certainly would never THINK of saying, no matter how off-the-wall or rebellious I was trying to be!

I AM SO GLAD THAT SOMEONE TOUCHED ON THIS TOPIC; OF DON IMUS [I'VE ENDEARINGLY TERMED 'I-MUS-BE-TRIPPIN']

THERE ARE SOME REPORTS ON THE RADIO/INTERNET THAT SAYS THAT IMUS WAS ACTUALLY TRYING TO DEFEND 'PACMAN' ON HIS 'APPARENT' UNJUST ARREST OF SIX-COUNT 'EM- SIX TIMES

NOW, I BELIEVE THAT IMUS MAY WELL HAVE BEEN TRYING TO RAISE A POINT OF THE 'INJUSTICES' OF ARRESTS TARGETING BLACKS OR WHATEVER THE ETHNICITY. TO ASK, "WHAT COLOR IS HE?" WAS OFFENSIVE TO ASK. I MEAN, IF A BLACK PERSON ASKED HE QUESTION, DOES THAT MAKE IT ACCEPTABLE; LIKE ONLY BLACK FOLKS HAVE THE RIGHT- OR PATENT- ON BEING MADLY INQUISITIVE??!! I SAY NOOOO!!! AND HIS REMARK- AFTER HEARING THAT 'PACMAN' IS 'AFRICAN-AMERICAN- OF, "WELL, THERE YOU GO...NOW WE KNOW" DOES NOT ELICIT SOMEONE GOING OF HALF-COCKED TO SAY THAT HIS COMMENT IS 'RACIALLY CHARGED.'

AS A 'MULTIFARIOUS NEGRO' MALE, I CAN BELIEVE- IN HOPE THAT HE IS SEEMINGLY MORE CARING OR CAREFUL IN HIS REMARKS- THAT HE WAS TRYING TO MAKE A POINT. AND THE PEOPLE [ONE IN PARTICULAR- AL SHARPTON] THAT ARE SAYING, "WELL, HE DID NOT CLARIFY...JUST LEFT IN OUT THERE, UP IN THE AIR" IS JUST TRYING TO MAKE A MOUND OUT OF A MOHILL
