Did you know its the friday AFTER Easter?

Curious? .....hee hee.....

Well I was having a lunch with a good friend at Applebees and they, being the good girl that she is.....ordered a salad and pasta for lunch. Well it was friday so she asked if she could have the pasta without the chicken....

They said sure....so we chatted and was enjoying ea. others company when they brought our food out.....they forgot....and there was chicken on her pasta....

I am sorry I ordered the pasta without chicken....OH yeah....ok....be right back. And 5 minutes later it came out without the chicken....

So we go on eating and talking....eating and talking....and my friend says....Well I saw this girl on Easter.....pause.....

its after Easter I can have meat.....

WE BOTH BUST A GUT LAUGHING.....she said it so incidentally....I was like....what did you say? Then realized just as quickly what she said and started laughing! We both laughed SO hard we cried!!!!!

DO YOU KNOW WHO IT WAS????

no miamiman...I dont have a priest...lol. I have a Pastor and we are non denominational and we dont practice lent like that. BUT nice try...lol

Mr W and suz....you get the star! yep it was Jana...LOL...it was sooooo funny. She went to all that trouble to get the right pasta, b/c they brought it out WITH chicken....and then while we were eating and talking about something that occurred on Easter....she says very nonchalantly and quietly....its after Easter ...I can have meat.
And it took a minute to registar with me...so I said what did you say? And then it hit me and I bust out laughing...
it was sooooo funny...I called her a dork...lol. And she told me ....here is a blog for you....but I dont think she thought I would!

LOL....but I did...hee hee...but no pics!

well i wasnt home early enough to guess ... but i had inside info on the lunch .. so p i knew befoe the blog was posted that you and jana were meeting for lunch and i wasnt invited hmmmmmm should my feeling be hurt ?? l ol lol

Ok Yes it was a "had to be there" moment, but it was pretty classic to say the least! I loved how I was talking about easter while I was eating and then just changed the subject mid sentence......"It's AFTER Easter".....I can eat meat!!! lmao

I am someone who loves the Lord...who loves my family, and who loves my friends. I love warm days and sunshine....I love oceans and beaches....I love spending time watching my boys have fun....I love watching my Daughter become a beautiful adult and friend... I love spending time with my best friend and soul mate. I love friends...and I have some REALLY good friends! I have some friends that I have had for 15 yrs and some I have had less than a year!
