OK....I am physically....emotionally and totally just exhausted today.....so it got me to thinking.... what do others do to refresh themselves....  what do others do when they are soooooo wiped out they can hardly move....

Like for me today......not expecting anything of myself today. No goals ....no real objectives to get anything done!.....LOTS of computer time and playing!

Plenty of caffeine (tho really I should be investing in some more water and vitamins!)

I also like to go to my Bible....read and pray and restore so to speak.....

How about you all? Share ....

Depends on when I get home. If it is after 9 pm I just go to bed.

Otherwise (this is before my bicycle accident) I would work on my model trains, go for a bike ride, build something, and create a painting or drawing. Since the accident playing a board game with the girls have really helped.

My brain is usually too wired to sleep. Try sitting in the middle of your bed, legs crossed . . . breathe in deeply through the nose (taking the air into your belly area) for 4 to 5 seconds and slowly exhale through your mouth. Buring a lavender candle can help, as can listening to a water fountain or a "sound only" relaxation CD.

I did some light stretching last night before going to bed and it really helped, but as I was told . . . you need to know how to stretch, so I only did the ones I've been shown by a professional how to do. I slept like a baby! Thank you B!

Thanks all for your suggestions. I think I am gonna make it thru the day. And guess what? I was soooo tired that when I sat down on the couch to read I fell asleep for a little while and felt better after. Guess I slept just enough and not too much!

Mine used to be a long hot bath prior to the accident. I never missed a night without it.

Boy I miss that : )

I took a long hot shower....that helped. I also did some extra things for myself and that helped to make me feel better too....

I will feel like a new person in the morning!

Good blog kurkel. I wish I could sleep but with 3 kiddos around, not gonna happen. LOL

If don't have to work which is at the computer I try to just sit on the couch or play a few board games with the kids and try not to doze off.

A good hot shower does the trick.

thanks connie and thanks to all the bloggers stopping in and sharing. It has certainly helped to pass my very tired day! A few more hours and I will go to bed and sleep! lol..

course now I hear lightening and thunder and my one son is quite afraid (tho better now that he is older) of bad storms! So hopefully my sleep is still gonna happen! lol
