Celeb Survivor Show!

Idea: Let there be a new Celeb Survivor Show!

All priviledged celebs who are arrested & feel they are entitled to special treatment that us regular folks would have to pay for, get mandatory casting on this show, celebs like Paris, Lohan, Naomi, Nicole, Mel, "Gummy Bear", etc, etc etc ... heck, even toss in Imus for the conflict & ratings, plus some felonious Rappers!

In my fantasy show, they are placed on a slummy island,  where they have no cell phones, no computer access, no way to keep journals, no TV nor stereo/cd music, no credit cards, no designer food, water nor fashionable clothes. No make/up, hair extensions, facials, stylists, nor porta-potties, NO amenities whatsoever ... etc, etc, etc.

Then, they all must live with each other for 2 weeks while surviving .... no papps, just 24/7 reality in-focus cameras.

OK ... after 2 weeks, the nicest & most giving gets 2 leave, the meanest have 2 stay ... one celeb only gets 2 leave when they show true compassion, caring & humility, & recognition for what they have received via their false ego-sense of celeb entitlement.

The winner does not win a penny, rather the $$$ Prize goes to help feed & shelter the homeless, abused & hungry ... & all the celebs have to contribute one million each to the Regular Folks Foundation ... money to be donated to the truly needy.

The TV viewers get to vote who has earned an exit & who would deserve to stay because of their continuing viewed arrogance & snippiness.

OK! But who would be the Host? Maya Angelo? Bill Maher? Rosie? Jon Stewart? Joan Rivers? Whoopi? Harvey Levin (TMZ)?   Any suggestions?

What do you think about the show? I sure would watch it! It would knock "Idol" & "DWT-Stars" off the rating charts!

Did IMUS happen so we can all See US?

Deep within the American Dream there lies the great American Nightmare where people of all diversities who migrated to this land (originally settled by the Native Tribes) chose to negate all others of difference.

Sadly, America has fawned equal-oportunity bigots, racists, sexists, snobbist & politicists .

IMUS' acceptance of degrading slurs is inexcusable ... yet he was taught those degrading words by Black Rappers' insult slurs upon Black women ... & even Spike Lee's dialogue that uses that phrase ... even the "nappy headed kid" lyric in Stevie Wonder's old song.

Guess he never got the memo from his soul that to repeat wrongful slurs issued by Black men was wrong & disrespectful  ... if you are white.

IMUS is ol' school, just like Don Rickles highly offense "comedy" was only accepted because people were too afraid to bolt & complain ... like Imus, he was surrounded by Yes-men who were profiting off  the Offender or afraid of his degrading wrath being focused on them.

There are so many more angry broadcasting favourites still on air, like Rush (to judgement) Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Ann Coulter,etc ... plus degrading rappers ... & profuse insulters.

Thank God Imus didn't cop to phony Rehab or Anger Management courses ... most comics & correspondents these days  would completely loose their edgy careers & their angry audiences.

I feel now that the IMUS issue is so major because his name stands for I aM US ... how many of us the people either subtly, unconsciously or blatantly hurt others via degrading their weight, age, race, colour, sexuality, fame level, content of their wallet (not their soul), religous preference, veggie vs non-veggie, smoker vs non-smoker, metro-chic designer duds vs country cozy duds, even those horrid Blond jokes, soooo much superficial yet very hurtful judgements ... all in the shallow attempt to falsely feel superior over others.

IMUS has struck a major heart-chord in America ... not just over his cruel & callous bad judgements re great young ladies, but because he caused all people to hopefully examine their possible bigotry & vagrant judgements ... & us having allowed bigotry to air on TV, Radio, movies, comedy stages & in the streets.

Perchance the IMUS Mess shows us it's time for all of US to say Enough is Enough of meanness. Time for us to stand up for what is worth defending ... meaning that which offends ... & begin championing that which elevates our connected mutual Family of Man & Woman rather than lowering each other over what seems to superficially separate us.

Y can't all of U who R upset with $anjaya just Chill?

Sanjaya is making bokoo buck$ 4 $imon & Idol$ producer$ & $pon$ors.  $imon & the $how pushed him thru from his original try-out (when they could have axed him) 2 the final 12 ... they knew he would bring N the audience & $$$ as he has done.  Their astonished "shock" is such a false phony PR hyparoo.

How is $imon surprised at getting the rating$ he knew $anjaya would bring them - plus the near $1,000,000.00 per 30 sec commercial fee 2 adv on the $how. 

When will $imon see that he has another $$$pin off: "American Teeny Bopper Idol $how" ... the 13 year old sobbing gal sitting N as Paula & $anjaya as Ryan. Voila... it could work as a big $$$ maker 4 $imon .... as if he could $pend more N this lifetime.

So, c'mon! Exhale, all U ticked off folks!  The great talents, like Jordin, Lakisha, Melinda, etc all probably have agents & recording contract by now. As the old song says: "They will Survive" very successfully ... as shall $imon.  True.

Actually, after last nite when Gina had 2 wrongfully exit singing "Smile" ... I'm sure that gave her a flood of new admirers & a bigger record contract ... Bravo.

Winning Idol does not make U a Long Term Winner N the industry or N the public's short term memories. Only continuing talent & endearment does.

Howdy Folks!

I hate 2 say it, but I feel everyone who is outraged re Sanjaya is getting Suckered N by the Idol producers. Chill. Focus on something benefiting U & yours ... not Idol rating$.

They R getting what they want .. lots of international blogging, outrage, debate & mo$t of all the audience #s ... which 4 them means ratings that equal boku-commercial bucks.

It's a $cam .. the Idol producers kept Sanj N 2 B N the final 12 (again ratings) Simon protests 2 much .. he is one of the owners of the show ... he frowns/grimaces, but knows Sanjaya is a great audience magnet. that equals ratyings that equal $$$ N his pocket.

Simon knows (plus Randy & Paula) that the more they discredit Sanjaya, the more teen votes he'll garner. Great marketing.

It's all just the $$$ business, folks ... Stop worrying re the real talent like Melinda, Blake, Lakisha, Chris ... I'm sure they, & others,  already have big time agents lined up 4 them 2 sign .. plus recording contracts flapping N the wings.

If we historicly reflect, I bet Sanjaya was on par with the "singing expertise" of Fabian, Dion, Bobby Dee, etc etc etc ... they became "stars" not because of any talent, rather due 2 teen girls romantic hormones.  Same with Sanjaya: Sexy yet Safe.

Thought:  IDOL ought 2 have a new show called: "American Teeny Bopper Idol" ... Sanjaya would B a shoe-N as Host, & the crying-teen gal would do great seated N Paula's Judging seat ... what do U think?

& Don't worry, if Sanjaya doesn't get a real recording contract, I'm sure he has CEOs lined up from hair & dental products re endosing contracts. Everyone is profiting-

Whoever seems 2 win is meaningless ... only time tells who really wins N the greater picture.

Hi Y'All !!!

American Idol asked 4 the Sanjaya Madness.

They base all their early shows on laughing at bad performers ... so they can get very high ratings.

The judges appear so angry that Sanjaya is still on the show, but they R the ones who let him get on the big stage ... again 4 ratings.

So, what's the big deal? AI producers got what they wanted. They still R: a lot of public chatter & blogging ... & of course: continued high ratings.

Perhaps they need 2 create a new show: "America's New Teeny Bopper Performer", & have that crying gamer, Ashley, N Paula Abdul's seat. 

Great ratings grabber, & ad time could B sold 2 Mattel Toys & the Olsen Twins Product lines.

I still think AI should only allow 1 vote per voter. As is, it is 2 easy 2 rig.

If only the American elections worked that way, instead of with the outdated Electoral System, we'd have Gore as Presaident instead of the very arrogant self-absorbed Bush.

Hi

I've been lately realizing I hate "everyone" ... not people, just the word. Y is the media & all PR folks intent on using the word "everyone" when hyping anmything?

As N "everyone" wants 2 C this movie! Or "everyone" is asking Blah Blah Blah! Or "everyone wants 2 know this about Brittney or Blah Blah Blah!

Sure I know it's done 2 hype their story or client, but on nearly every topic, I nor anyone I know is panting 4 Nfo re their story .... just their bank account that's filled by their PR.

I also understand it is their way of making some people feel out of the Loop, like an Outsider 2 the Fun Life ...but  I don't care what they R selling ... Gosh! Am I the only one?  The Loner?
