Hey Gang !!  Alright I am here at the Ladies and Gentlemen Salon and Spa in Legacy Village. We are looking at new trends for 2008! The fun part is looking at the action behind the scenes. I will say this I gave so much more respect for women and all of the "stuff" they have to go through to llok good.

Make up, hair color, curlers,pins, all this crazy stuff wow!!  I just wake up comb my hair for 45 seconds and boom time to go!!  i am looking at my photog Doug .. he is bald!!!  So it takes him about 1 second to get ready!!  To all of the ladies out there here is to you .. wow thats just a tons of work!!!

Ken Novak is the stylist out here and actually has more energy in the morning than I do!!!  but he drinks coffee !!!  Got ya Ken !!!  Congrats the folks out here tey are opening a new shop in Chicago in a few months !! form Cleveland to Chicago ... not bad

Well Gang!!  What can we say the Bucs got beat! Trust me it did not look any better up close! Ouch! .. Well they gave it a shot, second best team in the country, I know thats hard to say again but hey it beats third place!

The Bucs fans kept it going through the entire game, They were yelling and screaming and never said die. I'll tell you guys something, I am sicker than 2 dogs(an old Texas saying!) So its chicken soup' lots of fluids yadda yadda yadda. When I get back I will get the pictures on my blog so you guys can see what happen in N.O.

We worked hard but found some time to get some good food but if I see another bowl of jumbalya (or however you spell it) I think I will freak out! I am at home a little sick but we will see you guys in a few !

Well gang!!  Here we go! All of the talking trash is over its time to play ball!!! All the national sports guys are not giving the buckeyes credit,all of the rude LSU fans are walking around all cocky, and this city is seeing the biggest disiplay of scarlet and grey ever.

So its time to walk it like you talk it! I went ot the buckeye bash yesterday afternoon it was soooo big they had to have it in the convention center. Tons of buckeye fans were in there of all ages and all backgrounds, it was actually cool to see. Last year when I came to this bowl I will say the buckeyes were kinda cocky. They were walking around like they already won the game. It was obvious to me when I was in my seat and saw the two teams across the field from each other. One was fired up and ready to go to war  the other was just chlling.

Well  I will say this OSU has a different attitude this year. They are all about business, they have something to prove now! LSU has been practicing in the superdome and OSU has been outside the city on the saints practice field. Its just getting them really mad!!  You can see the fire back in the faces of all of them. So in my humble opinion it  boils down to this. 

If  they can stop the 2 run and gun quarterbacks we have the game. They are kinda putting all eggs in one basket. Sooo lets see what happens!

I wish them all of the luck in the world. You should see the streets now!!  Full of OSU fans.  I don't  think anyone here thought it would be this packed !!!  Ha ha ha I now understand why they say OSU has the biggest travelling fan base in the country!!  WOW!!

Hello Gang !!!  First of all let me say I am happy, happy, happy. The crew moved to another hotel  here in New Orleans and we are downtown!!  Tons easier to do stuff and we are right in the middle of the action!!!!  I like that because  I am seeing more scarlet and grey every minute I am here!  ha  I know LSU has the home field advantage but the OSU fans will not go quietly into the night!!

The fans are screaming OH-IO !! all over the place!!  Its pretty cool, they are loud and proud! So I went to the official Varsity Club street party and it was very different from Thursday. Tons of people were in the place called the Ernst Street Cafe or the New Orleans Varsity Club.  The LSU fans slightly outnumbered us but we were louder! They even had this big bus come by blasing the LSU fight song and the OH-IO yell just blew them out of tthe water .. ha haha !!!  take that! 

So the crew went out for dinner and I stopped by the world famous  Pat O' Brians and meet more OSU fans and some of my buddies from the C-L-E. My buddies were rocking the house as usual and I met some other cool folks from 216. A really nice lady named Jenny is spending some of her engagement time down here in the big easy with her husband. Hey Jenny congrats and thanks for watching the show!! She was wearing the scarlet and grey with pride!

I went across the city to watch the North Royalton High School Band practice. They are part of the pregame show and the half time show. They are part of a bigger group of 10 bands across the country. The kids came in all wearing Buckeye hats they know how to make and entrance. They were all just great young adults. They had some insightful things to say about the city and the recovery effort post Katrina. They are really amped about going into the Superdome.

You can see the energy in each and every step they take I wish the best of luck I am sure they will rock the house! Well, Dave is putting our video into the computer so I have to go log tapes. I will keep you guys posted on whats happening down here. Monday is going to be a big day!!!

Well hello Gang?  I want to wish everyone Happy belated holidays and all of that cool stuff. I had  great Christmas! All of my family is doing well and they are in good health. My family lives Dallas and it was really warm. I was walking around on Christmas day with a long sleeve shirt and that was it!!  Cool eh?

I hung out with my "big Bro" (who is the coolest brother ever, thats because he can't beat me up anymore ha ha ha!!) and caught up wih some old high school friends  I have not seen in over 20 years!!!  crazy huh? It was a really good time on old Big "D". Love you Mom and Dad!

Now lets get down tothe nitty gritty!!  I am here in New Orleans for the Ohio State Game!!!  Go Buckeyes!!!  So last night I went to Bourbon street. Man what a crazy place!!  So I am with my trust photog Dave and we have to get some like lives for the morning show. Live music is coming out of every other bar, the door guys are saying "Hey man come in here." Some of the places are .. well lets just say .. have a very interesting view of "live entertainment"

So I am looking for some cool stuff to do and I look into this bar and in the back at the patio I see all of this red. Boo yah !!!  Ohio State fans !! So I get back there and they are rocking the house in true buckeye style. They are laughing, joking, and taking no prisoners! They we having so much fun the locals were like "we want to party with those guys!"  Yeah baby, LSU tiger fans are in for wakeup call becaus Ohio State fans came to make noise!!  

So, this may be a party town but they have seen how Buckeye fans roar!!! So Its time for day 2 for me and I have to go track down some of the alumni!!! Tony Rizzo said something about hurricanes in the lobby !!  I am outta here!!

Hey Gang!! How are ya !!  The Browns are at it again !!!  They pulled another one off !!   I was at the game with my buddies, and speaking of the game I want to say hello to all of the people working at the stadium. They work very hard to make all the rest of us have a great time.

Now, the Browns .. Well I must say they are looking good. It seem they are maturing as team. Great plays all around. Kellen Winslow is looking good and making plays. Derek is not throwing away balls for no reason they are just getting to be a better team. The crowd was going crazy at the stadium!!

I want to say I am sorry to all of those people I did not get a chance to hang with who tried to call me on my phone . Reception is crappy in there for me !! We will hang out next time !!  Well what do you think ??  Will they make it to the playoffs??? I think they will if they can keep this type of team playing up !!

I tell ya ... its just good to see some winning teams in Cleveland!!  Its catching everyone by surprise and I think that is a good thing. I want to say this too .. Today I was at Stephanie's house and I will say being good parents is the most important job in the world. I am a bachelor so I never really hung out with parents all morning. Wow it is a full time job!!

So here is to you parents out there busting your rumps to make sure your kids have great lives and are surrounded by love !!!  Kudos .. In the meantime I will make sure I walk my dog boomer at least twice a day !!

Hey gang!! hope all of you guys are doing great out there!!  First I want to give a big shout out to my buddy Michael Simon!!  He just won the Iron Chef American Comp. Mike was one of the first chefs I worked with when I came here and we have been buddies ever since. He is an all around great guy and  I wish him all the best. He has a very supportive and hard working wife and she has a great sense of humor.

Mike has always helped me in the past and he deserves every bit of goodness that comes his way !! Way to represent Cleveland Mike !!!  Keep up the good work. Ya know its the season for restaurants and local taverns. I don't know about you guys but its seems this time of year everybody is hanging out at a cool bar ar restaurant. Meeeting friends and family and having a great time. So here is my challenge to you guys .. this year find a cool new place and invite 5 or 6 friends.

Everyone has to order something from the menu you have never tried. Then after dinner go some place different for dessert.  You guys let me know how it goes and where you guys go !!!  Hey its the time of year to hang out so try somehting new. Then before you leave the new place choose someone in the group to pick the new place next year !!!

Hello Gang!!  Well folks what can I say !!  The Tribe fought well .. Yes I wish they would have made the trip to Colorado and beat the Rockies like they owed the tribe money !!  However that was not the case.  My father told me "Its not the way you win but the way you take defeat that defines character." In other words.. anybody can be a graceful winner but to hold your head up with class when you take a defeat is really tough.

Those fellas fought a good fight ..noone thought they would get this far but they did!!!  To take a things a bit further It was really great to see this city come alive and get behind something positive.

Everyone got out of that defeatist  attitude and started believe in Cleveland. It ws great seeing people walking around with great pride and saying "Go Tribe" to total strangers and smiling.

It was estimated that the city made an extra 7 million bucks for every home game and thats money we need !!! nit being a born and raised Clevelander but being someone who has come to love Cleveland I love to see good things happen to the city!

So keep your head up Tribe players you fought well, you had the gust to go in there and fight when everyone did not believe in you .. and in the words of my buddy Wayne Dawson .. we are going to take the championship next year !!!!

Hey gang!!!! Well I am happy to say that the tribe rocks!! I know I am not alone when I say its a great time to be a Clevelander!!  The tribe fought like they wanted to win. I was really upset with the rest of the country even the national announcers. It seems that noone wanted to give the tribe credit for kicking boo-tay!!

Everyone wants to say "oh they just got lucky" or "anybody can hit  fastball when it come right over the plate" .. or  "the yankees were just making mistakes" The fact is the yankees got spanked!! 

Way to go tribe and good luck !!

Hey gang!!!

First of all !!  I want to thank all of my fellow bowlers out there who are trying to help me with my game!! Ha ha ha !!! and what a game it is !! ha ha ha!! I think I have  it down now ... you hit the white things at the end of the lane right !!!!!  ha ha ha h aha!!!  anyway .. I am going to try to put a spin on the ball like you guys said. Wish me luck!!

Alright, now,  wanna say thanks to all of the folks who came out to the wolleybear festival, it was great. The weather was awesome and people were very friendly. I was writing so many names I forgot how to spell my own !! ha ha ha I was busier than beaver in a sawmill!!! Who needs the groundhog baby!!!  I want to say sorry to the people who invited me into Ritas for a cold one .. had to go home sorry guys !!!  Next time.

The cool thing was as we were going through the parade people were giving me and Kevin Freeman the Indians scores as we went along. Let me say this ...  tons of love out there for Kevin Freeman baby!!  Kevin usually does the Sunday morning show and can't make Wolleybear. Well he made it this year and was the bombdiggity!!!

He said "Kenny, man my arms are tired from trying to wave to both sides of the street!!" ... well "Kev" that is the high price of fame my man!!! ha ah ah ah ahaa!!!!  Ok ... lets get to the nitty gritty !!  The tribe rocks!!!  I went to the game when they got pounded a bit on Saturday and everybody was bummed. Then pow!! they came back with a vengence !! The old never say die attitude wins again!!  Congrats you guys... you earned it and we love ya. Now lets go to the Browns .. yes the last last call was a weak punk call, but it was legal and it worked so what can we say.

The guys fought well .. just goes to show that one mistake can cost you a game .. you gotta play the whole game from start to finish. Anderson made some bad choices but he made some good ones too. You can't become a good  player until you get some experiences under your belt. Next week we play a strong team, lets wish our guys luck!!

Hello Gang !!!!

Well if you guys missed the big announcement we made the other day Sissy Schaefer is back with us!!  She worked on a nationally syndicated show for about a year and now she is back. We are going over the show everyday finding ways to work her into the show. We have to learn new camera angles, lighting positions, etc ... but the cool thing is.... we have tons of new ideas we are going to share with you guys !!!

Yes, new people new ideas and some of them we have been waiting to execute for a while.  So hang on folks we have some great stuff coming for you in the next few months. Tons of you guys have been asking me when is Tracey having her baby? Well she is due the end of October or early November!!! Her first baby Cassidy was early so we are all on pins and needles .. not to mention we all have bets  on when she is going to deliver .

I have money on Nov. 3rd !!!! .. Last year I joined a local bowling league as something to do to make the Cleveland winter go by faster. Long story short I forgot how fun Bowling can be . So we had a meeting yesterday for the new season and we bowled for free. I bowled my highest game 178 !!!  I don't know how to throw the ball and make it curve. If any of you guys out there have any tips on how I can figure this out let me know.

I feel if I can learn the curve I can actually get to 200!!  so lt me know guys!!!

Hello gang!!!!

Well I tell ya its a great time to be a Cleveland fan !!!  The tribe is rocking with a never say die mentality and then the Browns kicking some serious you know what !!!  I mean what a game by both teams. I was at the Browns game ...  oh yeah I want to say hello to all of the fans I talked to Sunday .. thanks for watching the show!!

I was sitting in my seat at the game and every 10 minutes I was getting up to high five fans !!!  It was waaaaaaaay cool.  One of the guys in front of me looked like he was bringing his young son to his first footbal game. The little guy was so excited he could not sit still. Th rest of us were acting like this five year old because we were jumping up and down too !!!

Not to mention the killer bacon blue burger I just had. I strongly suggest you eat one... great football food!!  The tribe going strong !!!!  We love you guys keep up the good work!!  I may not have been born here but I am a Cleveland fan !!!!!

Hey Gang!!!  Sorry it has taken me soooooo long to write you guys but it has been so busy here!!!  We have had some new changes at the station. My old boss is now the general manager, the assit. news director is now my boss!!  Wow !!  I want to give to give a shout out to all the veterans I met at shooters this past Sunday!!

They all rode up on their harleys with some cop buddies and they were all very cool. As you know summer is just about done. I have a different view about summer, as long as the sun is out in Cleveland it summer to me!!  I don't have kids just a dog so sunny is summer.

Its a cool time in the city, the air is just staring to get brisk, the buzz of the Browns is getting thick, people are dusting off the tailgating equipment,planning for clambakes, and you can get a massive sale on end of season summer clothes!!!   thats heaven in Cleveland.

Hey if you guys have not been to east 4th street downtown you are missing out!!  The new jazz club wonder bar is open, th new restaurant Zocalo is open too !!  Wonder bar is a small but contemporary. They have a house band consisting of a a bass player and pianist they sound really good. They have a small kitchen, candles everywhere and a sophisticated crowd ..small but cool and hip. Then Zocalo' is a Mexican restaurant with a tequiliaria yeah thats right !!  the place has 85 different tequilas!!  They even have one that is 100 bucks a shot!!

The restaurant is cool, two levels with an open circle in the middle funky bar area, very good food, and cool Mexican music in the background, they also have a little walkup window so you can get munchies after a long night out. Not that I have ever just partied like a rockstar on east 4th and needede some food before I hail a cab!!!

Andrew Dice Clay was in the Corner Allley having a burger and fries before his show Sunday. I tell ya you would walk past the guy and not know it was him. Baseball hat and sleevless t-shirt, old levis, and cowboy boots.  I did a double take !!!! 

Keep it up good people!!!!

Hey Gang!!  Well folks I tell ya ... Just when I get a little upset with the way some of the people act in Cleveland ( the recent increasing homicide rate) something happens and I fall in love with this place. We did a shot today called "stuff the bus". We told folks to come down and donate school supplies for kids who can not afford them. We have been talking about it all week.

So this morning Clevelanders came out in huge numbers to donate supplies. I mean we had moms, dads, sons, daughters, eastsiders, westsiders, southsiders .. you name it they came out. We filled up a school bus in less than 4 ours and started filling up the second bus by 10 o' clock.  We had volunteers just wanting to help load the bus, we had charity groups donating money and copying paper. We had groups wanting to be a part of the program next year !!! 

All  who came down did so out of the graciousness of their hearts, they did not want anything in return. I am really impressed with people in the city. Tuesday night I  witnessed some of the "ugly" and "dated" attitudes of two men in a certain part of the city. The truly sick part of the incident is ..one of them was on off duty civil servant!!! I am not and will not place all civil servants in a catagory with this idiot. I have friends who do the same job and are great people raised in great families.  I know those types of people who insist on spreading hate and not peace will exist in the city and the world for a long time. So when I see the 'good' people of the greater Cleveland area doing what they can to help their neighbor for no other reason than its the right thing to do .. it makes me feel proud to be a member of this city and country.

So keep it up good citizens !!!! ..  believe it or not, we in the media love to do stories on everything that is 'right' about our city and 'good' people making a difference!!
