Baytown has recently had the new addition of several red light cameras LOL! I find myself almost coming to a stop at the GREEN light for the fear of it turning from YELLOW to RED in a split second!!! I know it’s not safe LOL--but I don’t want my picture taken on this kind of camera LOL!
So do you find yourself doing the same?? Or do you come to a “rolling stop”? Have YOU ever been ticketed due to your “picture” being taken at one of those red lights??? C’mon…..fess up LOL!!!
Just wanted to remind everyone to be EXTRA CAREFUL when driving through subdivisions and school zones now. Children are back to school and the school buses are stopping to pick them up! AND don't forget to slow down in those school zones LOL!! I know that during the summer months we drive our normal 40-45mph-but when school starts, that speed limit goes down to 20mph!!!
I've noticed alot of new cars with the paper tags lately, and they seem to be the more gas "efficient" vehicles! Thankfully, mine is about 5yrs. old and is very good on gas!! Ken, however, has a land "yacht" that is a gas guzzler!!
Will you be buying a more efficient vehicle?? If so, which one? What is the MOST efficient vehicle?

Okay-don't shoot the messenger LOL-the MAYOR of Bloggersville just sent me this memo regarding a new seatbelt. Tell us what you think LOL!
DID WE MAKE YOU LAUGH???????????? I told our Mayor that I'm sure sometimes Ken really wishes he had this kind of seatbelt................it's seems the older I get, the more I become a "backseat" driver!!

I was watching Judge Judy yesterday and she was "demonstrating" how most people open their car doors-from the inside of the car. She said most women "Kick" their door open. How do you open your car door and are you very, very careful not to hit the car next to you with your door???? Have you confronted anyone for giving your car a "door ding"???
There is nothing more frustrating than those little "door dings" you get from people who could care less if they open their door on your car or not. Some people will do this with YOU sitting in your car, and then just walk off like it's nothing!! I get out of my car very quickly and check out the ding---then speak to the person as they hurry off-trying to "shun" the responsibility they have of fixing the ding in my door LOL!
I make every effort to hold onto my door as it is opening-and am very, very careful to NOT hit the car next to me. How 'bout you?? BE HONEST LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
