ANYONE HEARD FROM STORMCHASER??

Just wondering if anyone has heard from our friend STORMCHASER??  I know he went out as a missionary over the Summer-right?  Just wondering when he will return--or how the missionary trip is going?

He'll be gone for 2 years. He went this summer for training but will be overseas for 2 years. I emailed him shortly after he posted about it, after missing the blogger picnic, asking him if he could name a date that we could get together with him for a lunch, up here close to where he lived so it wouldn't take up much of his time, and to invite just the people he knows from the bloggers and chatters, but he didn't respond. If anybody does hear from him, let us know. I did miss him when Dolly and Edouard came through. He would have loved it.

That's exactly the same time I started seriously thinking about him. Maybe when they go on this missions trip they can't have computers etc.? Not sure--wish we could get his address and atleast write letters to him--positive upbeat letters, encouraging him and letting him know how awesome we think he is!!

Hey... I talked to his mom over the weekend via email. Matt has started the first part of his mission.. which takes him to Utah for training. So he's still in the U.S., but he doesn't have access to email. If you do email him... his mom will catch it and may pass the message along... etc. Long story short, StormChaser is doing well and everything is okay.. ;-)

Thanks Doug!! I'll email you so you can email me his moms email address LOL??? Just want him to know we ARE thinking about HIM-praying for him etc.!!

I really commend him for doing what he is doing! He is a rare young man-totally dedicated to his faith--I know his mom must be very proud of him!!

I knew he wasn't going to have access to email, but I gave him my snail mail address and told him I would actually write a letter because I'd love to know about the people and the culture. I love learning stuff like that. Don't know if he would be cut-off from snail mail, too. Nice to know his mom is checking his email. I'll send a reminder about the snail mail address.

I work for a physician which NOW takes up most of my days-so sad LOL! I'm not into blogging about politics--Ken keeps up with that information for me LOL! I LOVE talking about family, household tips, makeup/hair tips, and GOD! Other than that, I may RESPOND to your blog, but haven't posted alot much lately!! I miss blogging all the time with my blogging friends and family. I LOVE getting emails from yawl though-keep 'em coming!! I think FOX26 has the best news "family" around-and yes to most of us they are just that "FAMILY"! Keep up the great work FOX-and can't wait to see more and more positive changes for the station (as long as nobody leaves-your bloggers will stay happy LOL!)
