Did you Vote today on Super Tuesday??

Post your story here.  We're not so much interested in who you voted for, but rather what type of experience did you have voting.
Was it smooth?
Was it crowded or empty?
Was there any confusion or mistakes?
Have you ever voted in a primary before?
Why did you vote?
Any advice you want to give to people who still have yet to vote?

Go ahead and post your comments below and we'll read them throughout the afternoon on our Live Coverage webcasts.

A quick note from my polling place this morning:

I went to vote in North Hollywood as a non-partisan voter (I am not registered with any party) and when I checked in, they asked me which party I wanted to vote as.

BUT, in California, only the Democratic Party is allowing independents to vote in their presidential primary. You are not supposed to be able to vote in the Republican Primary if you aren't a registered Republican. It was fine for me because I was there to vote Democrat anyway. But I heard a similar story on NPR driving in that someone else who was independent was directed to a Republican voting booth.

So I hope this isn't a widespread problem in the state, as it sounds like some of the poll workers aren't clear on all of the voting rules.

...also, here's another thought -

How is everyone feeling now about the impact of California being a part of Super Tuesday? Originally, I was in favor of it because I thought, finally, California will have some real impact on the nominees by moving the date up to Super Tuesday.

HOWEVER, I think the IRONY of this year is that, now, the reverse is going to take place, at least on the Democratic side. It is so close between Clinton and Obama that we won't actually have a clear-cut winner today AND if California had their primary later, then we WOULD HAVE ended up deciding the critical vote.

Oh Well... what irony

I noticed at my polling place that 90% of the ballots being handed out were to non-English speaking "citizens?". I add the question mark because the polling place was in the home of the latino woman who spoke no English and asked for absolutely no form of ID when I cast my ballot.

I also find it interested that 27% of the LEGAL hispanics who voted were registered as Republicans? Really? I guess the McCain mystery has finally been solved.
