With the announcement that Led Zeppelin is getting together for a reunion performance, it sparks questions of a full reunion tour. There have been rumors and hopes for many years of this. Since John Bonham's son, Jason is a drummer and has played with the guys before, it's always seemed like a perfect formula for a classic rock band reunion. But it's never happened (officially).

Perhaps with the recent tours of The Police and Van Halen, Led Zeppelin decided that the time was finally right to get in on the act. We'll see what's to come.

Is this the ultimate for you? I have to admit, these guys would be pretty high on my list of classic rock bands that I'd like to see in a reunion concert. Some people feel that way about The Police and now they're getting their wish.

If you could see ONE band live in a reunion tour/concert, who would it be? and why? If your favorite is a band who is missing any of its members, who would you like to see fill in?

Other than raising John Bonham from the dead, this would be the ideal tour. But seeing the Beatles would be pretty solid, although they're down to two members.

I agree on the Beatles idea, but not now - The Paul and Ringo tour doesn't really have the appeal to me. I'd rather just see Paul reunite with Wings - Band on the Run, baby!!!

And who would replace Linda on keyboards? A cardboard cut-out?

Actually, that would work.

"It's been a long time since I rock and rolled"

I can't think of a better band, they were the sound of my childhood and I still listen to them. KMET rocked!

Moogie! "I Just Want to Thank You" you made my day with this classic performance. I was so stoked that it stated over 6 min.! Now I remember why I had such a mad crush on Robert Plant.

I heard that this reunion is a one time charity event being held in London. Bummer, there is even a lotto to get tix.

I hope the guys enjoy playing together so much that they do one last tour. Imagine how quickly those shows would sell out.

ddain, cute pic. I hope they decide to tour and play L.A. area. I never saw the whole band, but saw Paige & Plant maybe 10 years ago when they did a tour. They are the only band left on my "gotta see" list, I hope I get the chance.

Wow, thanks again moogie, much better quality on this one "how many more times?". Every song they did was a classic, huh? Those guys had no idea what they were embarking on - generations of music appreciation. Genuises. I wonder if these came from VH1 Classics.

back in the 70s i seen led zep 4 times they sucked every time ..the only reason i went after the first time was i thought maybe i was wrong ..the other times were peer pressure ..that had to be one of the worst bands live ever..who cares if they have another concert ..its for a bunch of people who never got to see them and a few people who wont grow up or admit their age..i hope they enjoy the show ..their studio stuff awe sum..live they pure out suck..and dont tell me age has made them better...

You might be the only one who thinks that way. I've never met anyone who has seen them live say anything but how great they were.

I saw Page and Plant way back in '95 and thought they were pretty good. I noticed that there was a prompter at Plant's feet that had the lyrics on them. I thought it was odd that he would forget the lyrics to songs he wrote and has sung a few hundred times.

Led Zeppelin is/was the best! We have to see if they still got it though. Aging took a little something away from Rod Stewart, Stevie Nicks, Deborah Harry in recent performances I have noticed. Diana Ross, and Chicago amazingly have lost no magic over the years though! When do we get to see the Led Zeppelin come-back?

Led Zepplin huh? If only I had kept my tshirts! Who am I kidding? If only I could fit in my old tshirt! I saw the Doors once that was a long time ago. The Eagles are on the CMT Channel along with many older Rock Bands. Pat Benatar sold out in Palmdale I believe. She was on the same channel. Rod Stewart yeah bought a cd from him a few cd's ago my kids here at work will not even shake their bottoms at it! Sorry guys long week and this is not short but sweet. Oh yeah I would go to the Whiskey to see Beep's Band! If I were invited.

iF YOU CAN BRING DUANE ALLMAN BACK TO LIFE, THEN THE FIRST BAND I would want to see is the
reall Allman Brother's band, but that's not happening. I would like to see the Moody Blues. a very underater band that dosen't get any pub. Of course Zep would be there too. It's
only rigth to have Bottom's son be the drummer.

The Allman Brothers were great. Funny to see VH1 specials and then realize that they were a lot more famous than an Allman Brother who married Cher and has a son.
Craftyguy you are 1 person who remembers the 70's.

I've learned a lot about Zep thanks to a friend who's in a band and did a Zep tribute album. As a gift I gave him a framed Zep album cover. The friend introduced me to Jason Bonham at a charity concert.

Should be an incredible concert!
