The Denver District Attorney has charged four men who are accused of renting cars with fake IDs and then never returning them.
Ismael Marrufo, Ramiro Escarsega, Zerafin Munoz-Lozano, and Marco Nunez-Peralta are in the Denver County Jail.
Investigators say the men rented the most expensive vehicles available like Escalades and Hummers and then drove the SUVs and cars to Mexico. They targeted Payless, Budget, and Hertz rental car companies.
Lt. Ron Saunier with the Denver Police Department said, "One particular outlet feels like they have had over a million dollars loss."
The charges are the result of an investigation that took Denver Police detectives at DIA several months to complete.
According to the probable cause statements, this is an extension of a ring operating out of Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona.
Border Patrol in has recovered a number of the vehicles as people attempt to drive them into Mexico.
And they say we don't need to do more at the border to stop the illegals.  Now not only have they gotten rich off of our country again they will be taken care of by the tax payers. Just like that illegal that drug his girlfriend to death. He is eating up our tax dollars in prison. Yet we continue to argue as to what we should do about the border. There is no argument we need to put land mines there and close the border to all in coming and out going traffic.

Mexican Senate sides with mom deported from U.S.

 

MEXICO CITY (AP) — A Mexican Senate committee passed a measure Wednesday urging President Felipe Calderon to send a diplomatic note to the United States protesting the deportation of an illegal migrant who took refuge in a Chicago church for a year.

 

The committee also approved a scholarship to help her 8-year-old U.S.-born son, Saul, who is an American citizen and stayed in the United States.

 

Elvira Arellano, 32, became an activist and a national symbol for illegal immigrant parents by defying her deportation order and speaking out from her sanctuary in the Adalberto United Methodist Church. She announced last week that she was leaving to try to lobby U.S. lawmakers for immigration reform.

 

On Sunday, shortly after she spoke at a rally in a Los Angeles church, she was arrested and deported to Tijuana, across the border from San Diego.

 

"We cannot remain quiet in view of this injustice and must ask for firm action from our authorities," Mexican Sen. Humberto Zazue said.

 

He accused the United States of violating international deportation accords by denying her access to the Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles.

 

Arellano, who was at the committee's session, said Saul is in Chicago in the care of his godmother and will attend a Sept. 12 rally for immigration reform in Washington. She said she would help organize a rally in Tijuana that same day to demand Mexican authorities do more to protect migrants.

 

"For me it is very important that our government take a strong stand to defend all of us who decide to migrate to another country," she said.

My name is John-Michael and my sister's name is Sarah, we sent you another email but I don't think you got it because we never got an email from you.  Please, please help our mom. Our Mom is so nice and wonderful. Mom loves to spend time with us, play games, We love her so much. Mom has been very sick and bed ridden for long time. Mom has a rare brain malformation called Chiari Type 1 malformation. Its a very rare brain malformation, but you can find alot of good information online. My mom has had 4 brain surgeries , the first 2 were done wrong by a local doctor and 2 more to correct the first 2 surgeries. Mom' s symptoms came back and she has been from one doctor to another for over a year now, every doctor locally tells mom "its all in her head" there is nothing wrong with her and they dismiss her.  Mom finally mailed her mri to the Chiari institute in ny and they found what was causing moms pain. Mom is in pain 24/7 and has to spend all day in bed.  The doctors at the NY chiari institute say mom needs a surgery, this surgery is a new procedure they are doing for people like mom and this is such a new finding that the NY doctors haven't even published the findings of the study.  Mom needs this surgery is she'll ever is to have a normal life and be pain free. But the big problem is that mom now has an hmo and it doesn't cover doctors that are out of network. She spoke to the chiari institute billing man and he said that they no longer accept insurance, that way they can charge less for the procedure. Doesn't make sense to me... but mom needs her surgery. Please, please help our mom. we need our mom back. we need our active mom that takes us to the park, the pool, disney, etc. and we don't want to see mom in pain anymore.  Mom was crying because the billing may at the Chiari Institute told her the surgery is around $176K and mom says that is more than what our house is worth. She is desperate...  please help mom even is its only a little help. We will be forever grateful for your help.  I pray that you can do something to help our mom, she is a single mom, but she is our rock she is our everything. we don't know what we would do if mom has to go to heaven, we need our mom.  Please think about it and please see if you can help her. The Chiari institute has this new procedure and the doctors are working on publishing the results of doing this surgery. It would also help others with this illness if we do something to get the word out and doctors out there learn about the illness and how to treat it, instead of treating Chiari patients like Crazy people. (This illness is not known all that well, proof of that is my mom's first 2 brain surgeries were done wrong, It took 2 more surgeries to correct what was done first time around)
 
If you need to talk to our mom to get the details and the full story you can. I pray that The Lord will touch your heart and give you the need to help us.  Mom is so nice and so cool. She is the best mom in the world, even when she's sick she's a good mom and spends all her time with us. We just want her healthy and pain free.
 
I appreciate your time,  you don't know how hard it has been and how disappointing to send letters and emails to people I admire, just to realize they could care less.  Please see if you can help mom in any way.

This post sounds more like a confession than a news issue. This is a controversial issue and yes I am Ani-Abortion. I don't care if it was in the heat of the moment. If you think you are woman enough to have sexual intercourse then you should be woman enough to protect your self. It is a very common practice that people use as a form of birth control. If you are so afraid of taking care of a baby in the morning and feeding and loving that child then keep your legs closed. How dare you promote abortion as a form of birth control? I have children and I wouldn't change a thing. Due to your lack of responsibility and ignorance you went out and killed a baby because you didn't want to feed and diaper the baby. Nor did you want your partying to be interrupted. It is obvious that you are very young and ignorant. You need to grow up before you have sex with anyone. BTW - A news blog site is no place for a confession. Try telling your parents.

 

I think that we as the American citizens should start a program. “Called Free ride back over the border.”

 

 

The illegals seem to be the only ones complaining about how unfair we are that they are being treated so badly. I even came across one that said our economy would fail with them. LOL!!!! I know I laughed so hard I split my side.  Fact of the matter is we need to teach them that it is OUR American money that keeps Mexico in business. That’s why even their own country doesn't want them. They come here and use our money to send back home. So tell me again whose country would fail without them?

 

 

I will be the first to sign up to drive them back over the border. If you are illegal I will give you one free ride. But that is the only free thing you will ever get again.
