Happy Mother's Day!

Yes, that is me with my Mom when I was 6 years old!              Mom and I were as tight as two people could get, she was my best friend even at age 6!  Our life was a whirlwind at times, but we always pulled through the toughest times side by side.  Mom taught me so much about life and as I sit here today, I cherish every story she told me, every time we put on the 45's and danced in the living room to Aretha Franklin, or just sitting enjoying each other's company!  She was amazing!

Happy Mothers Day

 

Mother's Day is here again, but I don't miss her more today than any other.... I miss her everyday!

So Listen up.......Enjoy Mother's day with your Mom, but don't just focus on Sunday!  Enjoy everyday she is with you, because one day she will be gone!  My Mom is always close to my heart, but what I wouldn't give to hug her again!

Today I not only want to honor my own Mother, but the many "MOM" that have touched my life!  I want to thank those that have been there for me when I needed a shoulder, a laugh, or just those that take the time to really get to know me.  We sure know how to have fun don't we!

Mom loved my dog snoop! As you can see we had lots of fun together! I took her to the lake one year and gave her a beer! Well you can see how silly she was!

The two girls in the beginning of the slideshow are my best friends outside of the blogs. I love them so much! Yvette and Kelly you rock!

Friendship is a special thing, so many people take advantage of it. Being there for each other, listening, giving advice, and simple caring is what it's all about!

Friends honestly do brighten my life!

Hey jana Sweetheart ..I wish i could have met your mom .. She did given me a wonderful gift .. SHe gave me you .. You are an awesome and true friend that i love with all my heart .Someday you will be able to introduce me to your wonderful mother and i will be able to thank her for the gift she gave me .. You will always be a Part of my life .. I truly owe your mother and mine for Bringing us together ...

I will be spending my Mother's day weekend with some of these friends!! I just want to say that Yes it is "Mother's day", but there are some Men here on the blogs that have been pretty amazing also! You know who you are!

Thank you for the late night chats, the phone calls, coffee, and the hugs are always a plus!
I have many girlfriends, but I have a couple amazing boyfriends too!! Thanks for everything! EVERYONE!

Hey girl; I'll be spending mother's day weekend with some AWESOME mother's, here at Jeanette and Truman's. My mother will be here in spirit with me also; as she always is! And yours will be here with us too! We will have a great time; can't wait to see you later today. You are one of the 'AWESOMEST' :) Is that a word? LOL :)

Suzzz!! I woke up this morning and the first thing I noticed was you said "Good Morning Sunshine!" Mom use to call me Sunshine ALL the time!! Ok then the yellow roses!! Great way to start my day sweetheart! Thanks girlfriend!
Harp your mom is amazing! I can't wait to see you both this weekend!

Well for some reason my puter is not pulling up your videos so i will have to check back later. But, Jana i can only imagine how much you miss your mother! And i do stress...Imagine! No one knows what it actually feels like until we have suffered such a loss. She WILL always be with you, in your heart and in Spirit, but once again i can only Imagine what it would be like to give her one more hug. Jana,
I know how you feel. My mom has been gone for almost 8 yrs now and I miss her everyday. She was my lunch buddy and we talked several times everyday. I took it hard when she died and took me a long time to get over it. It's always hard to lose a family member but it's very different when it is your mother. Have a wonderful weekend and a blessed Mother's Day.

My name is Jana, and I start my day with Fox 2 every morning! I have a wonderful husband who has been my best friend since I was 13years old, and I have three awesome children! My family and friends are what my life is all about! I love to take the family to Camp Ondessonk, located in Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois~HEEPWAH! We have a old school bus that my husband recently converted into a RV, and we camp and take it out as often as possible. We named it "The Peace Train"......Have bus will travel!
