Thats right, the best web-browser in the world (in my opinion) is about to go to version 3 shortly.

What browser is that? Mozilla's firefox browser. Firefox 3 is currently in the final  beta (or testing)  stage in it's development process, what Mozilla like to call the final release  candidate. The actual final version should be available for public download shortly.

While Firefox is known to be much faster , and, more secure than Internet explorer, It's going to be even faster and more secure with version 3.

Jimbo your new AVI scares me, I think it's the eyes... I have to look away....

I am a Firefox girl and I am glad to hear that you like it too. I MUCH prefer Firefox to any other browser... in fact, last week I was attending a CLE and had to operate on my laptop, which only has IE loaded on it... I felt like a square peg in a round society. Firefox is absolutely the best!

Marty Feldman is the only person in movies who makes me laugh just by looking at him.

I agree, Guns. Using IE after firefox feels like frozen molasses going uphill. The vast majority of websites are now firefox friendly. The number of add-ons now available can make it seem as if you built your own browser!

Yeah I loved Marty Feldman in Young Frankenstein.... Abby Sir?.... well Abby Normal of course.... His eyes still freak me out though never know which way he is looking.

Tiff with one of the locals up there who has made several references to why I bring "Texas" into things and told me this morning... that you all don't need advice from Texans about the heat up there, you are used to the hot weather. So I believe I have outstayed my welcome and should probably just stick to DFW, as I don't want to offend people up there. You do still have my email?

I didn't see those comments, but, just because you ticked off one person is no reason to leave us. That one person (whomever it was) doesn't represent the opinions of all foxphilly bloggers, that, I can assure you! Don't let one persons opinion drive you off. You are, after all, FROM TEXAS! If they don't like the fact that you bring your home state into some of your blogs, they don't have to read them, or, comment in them. I took that blog as you being helpful, not preaching.

I do have your email address, maybe I'll fire one off to you soon (even though I'm not much of an email guy). I also have myfoxdfw bookmarked, so, if you do leave, I know where to find you. :)

Thanks Jimbo. I thought it was helpful too (the one about the weather) but this person let me know ya'll didn't need help from a Texan :)

I enjoy the Philly site and the friends I have made with other bloggers, I was sort of looking forward to Football season :) since the Eagles and the Redskins are the Cowboy's old rivalries we love to hate.

I appreciate your kind words and have really enjoyed blogging with you.

Firefox rules! I got introduced to it through my radio job, when I had to use the FTP downloader to get audio files. I'll have to get the latest Firefox now!

Can't believe so many people have converted to Firefox. I've been using it for years. Version 3 rock, although I lost my scroll bar and had to change to a different theme. Nevertheless, it has a lot of big improvements. Those Mozilla guys are geniuses.

I was thinking about using that ugly dog pic in my photo album.

One of the best things about firefox v-3 is you no longer have to copy and paste one line at a time with long URL's.

TAYL...You may already know this, but, you can acsess firefox prefs by typing about.config in the address bar, or you could download this nifty program...Firetune..
