I was speaking with a friend earlier who is a peace officer, and they were saying that they had to get a second job just to pay for the gas. I stated that I should purchase a gas station and charge between $1-$2 for the gas and watch the Nation go CRAZY and the politicians get TICKED. It was just a thought to ease their day. SMILE. Those who have part time jobs, minimum waged jobs, those who are students, and those of us that are not rich (which is most of the country) can barely stay afloat. What are these people thinking? First we had the crisis with the Home buying situation which still exists. Now we have the outrages gas prices. Are politicians thinking? NO!  cars are not selling right now, especially the large cars and SUVs. Come on give the country a BREAK on the gas because we all need it. I know it's a dream, but it does not hurt to think about it.

Thank Jimmy Carter, Reagan, Bush41, Bush 42 and CLinton and Gore and all the Senators asleep at the wheel. The wake up call was in the Jimmy Carter gas lines. Baby Jimmy told us to wear a sweater. Kerry wanted to add 5o cents to the gas to discourage use... And you voted for the loons.

Boycott top two profiting oil companies in the world. And for U.S citizens boycott “ExxonMobil / Shell’s” oil/gasoline products. Or don’t buy any gas from the top two companies or anyone on Friday’s for ten years from the year 2008…. Spread the word! Cut & paste this message into an email. Then send it to co workers, family members, or friends. Pass It On!

Jimmy Carter is the one who set this thing in motion! He got rid of ground intelligence in the Middle East back in the 70s, when he insisted that we didn't need it. And this is information that has been reported in the news back then, and can be historically documented. One of the people who reminded me of this is Israeli Retired General Shimon Erem, who spoke out at 2 public events on May 17 and 21 in Southern California. Carter's blunders continue to endanger the United States, and he always interferes with every President in office, to this day. Even Billyboy had warned Carter to stop interfering with his administration, which Carter stubbornly ignored. Go figure about 9/11/2001! Thank you JIMMY THE PEANUT HEAD CARTER!

I am not republican so I didnt swing those votes and I was just a little shy of voting age when Carter came in so I wish to thank you for voting for the loons. Kerry may have added $0.50, but Bush Babby just added $50.

Tyronej79, my son beat you to the punch. He has my 1983 Mercedes as well as a 1990 Cadi that he owns and when the gas got over $3.50 (premium) he and his wife began walking to work and catching the bus everywhere else and is still doing it. Both of his cars are parked.

Jimmy Carter was over 30 years ago, get over that scenario, what about those after him that continued taking advantage of the situation and uses Carter as an excuse, but not do anything to rectify his actions. He has one foot in the grave already and you all are crying over something that could have been fixed. OOps I forgot, all but one was REPUBLICAN. All they thought about was how to keep their money to themselves. Do you know how many kids had jobs through CETA? There were quite a few productive young citizens that could not wait to turn 14 so that they could have their own money in their pockets. OOPS, Reagan got rid of that. Now these little DWEEBS are gangsters and trouble makers and guess what, they are not all Black, Latin, and Asian, WOW. Papa Bush did not do anything to recify that action either, and neither did Clinton, but he did more than the Bush clan. Oh and by the way did you know that there was a 9/11/72 in Chile, not that you would care.

Godzgirl,

Jimmy Carter continually meddles with the affairs of every president after him, and is constantly causing trouble with security. Retired General Shimon Erem keeps up with the Middle East, and the Israeli Military looks up to him for advice. Erem has kept tabs on the things Carter does, and every U.S. president after Jimmy Carter has had to mop up after a mess that Carter keeps creating to this day. Even Bill Clinton has had to scream and yell at Carter to stop interfering with the security of the United States. Also, from what I have learned from Erem and a former PLO terrorist Walid Shoebat, the Muslims are using oil to hold every nation hostage. The extremist Muslims are continually raising the prices, in hopes that all nations will come under Sharia Law. This is not being told to most of the public at the moment, yet this is the plan being hatched in the Middle East. Watch the oil prices rise to a point we cannot afford it; then watch some political leaders of the world cave in. This will be part of the proof. When Israel gets attacked by the Muslims, this will be the beginning of Armageddon. And by the way, General Erem addressed most of the other issues you are talking about after Carter. He seemed to indicate that the damage Carter did was nearly irreversible, so while you accuse the Republicans of doing absolutely nothing, they were mopping up that moonbat's guano. Even Billyboy had to mop up too! By the way, I'm Asian.
