Is Bill O’Rielly really a Moron or just SOS (stuck on stupid)? Does he think that just because there are a few rotten apples in all ethnicities, that they all have to act alike? He is not culturally insensitive just stupid. All looks are not alike, meaning just because you have a few rappers or gangsters regardless of color, ethnicity or cultural background that you should identify everyone in that group by the same standards. What did he think when he went to Sylvia’s in Harlem, that Blacks were going to be swinging from the ceilings like Tarzan, or scalping people like in the John Wayne western’s? What a total idiot. He may be educated but he does not possess commonsense. Let him have dinner with poor people period regardless of color, ethnicity or cultural background just because a person is poor does not mean that everyone is on WELFARE.

Yep, it was an idiotic thing to say. I don't think it's racism, more like just a dumb thing to say.

Looks like I stand alone on this one. I rarely miss O’Rielly’s Fox News program not to mention his daily talk program on KABC. And even though I don’t agree with all his political views, I hardly consider him a racist. He, single handily, brought tremendous public awareness to Jessica’s Law and was very instrumental in pressuring several states to adopt this law. He has also placed high visibility on “Sanctuary Cities”. If you anti O’Rielly Bloggers dislike him so much, why watch? CNN and MSNBC will fulfill your needs.

LA Times

Nearly two dozen private hospitals in Los Angeles and Orange counties, accounting for up to 15% of beds in the region, are in dire financial straits and in danger of bankruptcy or closure, according to hospital administrators, industry experts and state data.

The troublesome development follows the closure of community clinics and hospitals in recent years that has left the healthcare system seriously overburdened.

If even a few other hospitals close or reduce costly critical-care services, it could mean longer ambulance rides to hospitals, additional delays in emergency rooms and less access to care, especially for poor and uninsured people.

Among the hospitals in poor financial health, according to industry analysts, are Downey Regional Medical Center, Centinela Freeman Health System in Inglewood, Brotman Medical Center in Culver City, Century City Doctors Hospital and four Orange County hospitals owned by Santa Ana-based Integrated Healthcare Holdings Inc. including Chapman Medical Center in Orange and Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, one of three trauma centers in the county.

In interviews, senior executives at Centinela and Downey said they were considering closing their emergency rooms. Downey’s chief operating officer, Rob Fuller, added that his hospital could close entirely as early as next year if its financial picture didn’t improve soon.

“It’s fasten your seat belt it’s going to be a bumpy ride time,” said James Lott, executive vice president of the Hospital Assn. of Southern California, a trade association.

OHHHHHH C'mon! O'Reilly is just a "Joseph Goebbles" (Hitlers minister of propaganda)(AKA "master of the half lie) wannabe. When a person back tracks, where is the accountability? I mean who allows this "Rehtoric" to take place in the first place, WHO pays fer it??????????? "Some people say" that he is the mouthpiece fer Rupert Murdoch??????? I mean, that is who pays his wages, or is because there is no accountability, that Rupert Murdoch (known fer his micromanagement) has no control over the content of his programming???????? Check out "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdochs War on Journalism". Is a very informative and interesting documentary.

You guys should really hear the whole interview. It was not racist at all, on the contrary he was destroying the stereotypes of black people. See this is the power of the media, they took his interview and picked out the parts they wanted you to hear and turned it into a racist rant. Before you guys start jumping to conclusions and believing everything that said in the media please look at the whole story.
This was made a story by his competitors whom by the way are getting their a.s.s.e.s kicked in the ratings by him.

You’re right on jayNgram. I too heard the entire interview and it was far from containing racist overtones. A group called “Media Matters” (an extreme left-wing smear group) “cut and pasted” snippets of O’Rielly’s comments distorting the facts and the sequence in which said comments were made and then posted it on their web site. CNN, without researching the facts, broadcast the ridicules “Media Matters” accusations on one of their newscasts. Having read this entire Blog, I chuckled to myself as I saw the lemmings running toward the cliff. Maybe next time they will look and listen before they leap.

DfDeportation what does the hospital has to do with people making stupid comments?

blcoffman, they don't take O'Rielly out because he has more money to fight with than Imus and has a lot more education. Enough to know better.

stanhootzz, okaaaaaaaaaaaay, and this has what to do with STUPID COMMENTS?

jayNgram, you are absolutely correct, but it was still a stupid comment to make. I don't think that it was racist, but do people of other colors, ethnical backgrounds or cultures eat differently. I thought that we all bled, sh@*, ate, sleep, died and were born the same way. The media did it...still a stupid non-commonsened comment he made.

LOL'S, Oreilly has a consistant habit of stupid comments. Did you see his interview with Jeremy Glick???? I am not much for seeing only a snippet of how a person conducts themselves, we take a look at the history, then a person can say, mmmmmmmmmmmm maybe this person is rasist, or this person is a pathological liar, or he's a mouthpiece fer Rupert Murdoch????
Takin as a whole, I am not much attracted to his platform of conduct or views. Straight up, I am sure he would tell me to Shut up and go away because i do not think the way he wants me to think.
I really dont think he's rasist, I think he's ELITEST (just better than everyone else).

memoryjoe, when I said that we all eat the same it was meant as a metaphor meaning that underneath the differences of our skin (being the largest organ on/in our body), we are all alike one way or another. Next time save me some of that food (SMILE). You know on Wednesday nights my church have a Harvest Gathering which is a Bible Study combined with dinner (real food like mashed potatoes and gravy, garden salad, corn and green beans mixed, with fried chicken, a dinner roll, desert and some punch or juice. The menu is different each week. The family is invited, it is culturally diversed and after bible study you get a bag of food. The only catch is that you have to stay for bible study which is from 5-7 and most of the time you are eating. How does that sound?

Although I am conservative, I consider OReilley a clown. He's in it for his own glory and to heck with what's right. There are some things I agree with him on, but just as many that I do not. That's the funny thing about conservatives, we don't all feel obliged to adhere to the same litmus tests across the board.

Probably more an elitist or class viewpoint of upper versus middle class that type of snobbery. I authored "Moon Racists" and "The Interracial Couples" and did a tremendous amount of research on real racism plus experiencing it first hand for both stories and this doesn't quite fit that profile. Real racism has attached to it a drive for violence based on fear of change or fear in change, and an intolerance leading to such violence or actions. I found interestingly that racism has about 5 categories or levels.
