Media havoc & School Drama,

Did you know that violence has gone on for decades on the high school campuses?  Is this something that is new to you or is it a wake up call from Columbine High School?  Tell me what is the difference between twenty years ago, ten years ago, yesterday and today. Does the environment play a pivotal role or does the media? Describe some salient characteristics (important issues).

i agree wene i went to school there was just as much violence then as there is now , only difference now is there are school police on campus not that it really matters , wene the media covers these attempt's of another columbine, i think we have a risk of copycats , these kids want to get attention ,we had a epidode here in redlands just a few months ago three kids were going to bring explosive divice's to school and set them off thank god there plan was discoverd and they were arrested but no! i was not surprised by it at all , i always tell my two daughters who attend high school if something like that happens hide in a safe place , my daughter one day vidio taped a school fight on her campus i watched it and the first thing security did was pepper sprayed the crowd , then handled the kids , but it still was scary to see .............Deebie

I enjoy singing, reading autobiographies, history and etc, I like writing poems, going to the movies, going on picnics, going to church when I can, and spending quiet & quality time with family and friends, and sometimes cooking, especially around holidays.
