I've not been known to speak out too positively about cops. (due to a lifetime of negative experiences)

Well, my faith in local police work has been somewhat restored.

While away jamming at Ozzfest in Dallas Tx. my house was burglarized.

A couple local crack heads staked my house out, seeing that it was empty, pushed in a window unit air conditioner and helped themselves to my wifes jewelry and my son's video games etc.

My wife didn't even want to call the cops and make report, "It's gone they'll never find anything" she said. I said "Bull!" at least make a report. I'm glad we did! A local detective did some police work and had suspects within 24 hrs. Most of our belongings have already been returned. Some we may never see. At least we may get some kind of restitution and the thieves are going to jail!

We're all experiencing nightmares now. Peace of mind be hard to find for a while.

She said, the other day, to go out and buy gas, it's about to go up! So, dumb me, did what she said!  It's done nothing but go down since I filled up!

When will I learn that Fox is the man?

I'm a scout dad, my son is 15 and is already working on his Eagle Scout project. He is in Troop 427 here in Cuba Mo. This troop has made the local paper many times with their accomplishments. 427 has been labeled a "launching pad" for Eagle Scouts. Unfortunately though, we have lost two Eagle scouts from this troop. (it wasn't just a month ago or so that we were at a funeral for one of the boys) The other a year or so ago.

There has been many bad things happen in the scouting community over the past couple years. Seems like it started with a van load dieing in a car accident, over near the east coast somewhere.

Now, this terrible thing that happened last night. Makes me feared to let my boy go on another trip. Seems like every time they go on a trip it storms on him, or turns cold. (he always comes home sniffling and coughing) My family doctor says I should let him go no matter the weather. It's all part of it. As they proved last night, no one is more prepared than those boys were. (awfully young to be thrown into such a catastrophe) They could have had a better storm shelter but, that's not "High Adventure" now is it!? These experiences build the leaders of our future. From the sound of it those boys shined last night!

Later this summer my son heads off on a high adventure trip to the Florida Keys. Sailing in a Polynesian war ship among the many things! Now I gotta worry SHARKS!

His troop is camping this weekend in Carbondale Ill. ( About the time this storm moves through there) I DUNNO!!!

I've been harassed by Dish Network! I've been scammed by Direct T.V.! Now Charter has scammed me to the point,..I have NO t.v.! It's been weird not watching t.v. for the last couple weeks! I miss a couple shows. Mostly it just gets boring with nothing to occupy the slow periods of the day!

So, I'm trying to make it through life without television! The great wonder of the computer gives me the opportunity to watch the shows I do really want to see! I am caught up on Jericho! The wife is caught up on House! (it takes a while to load the programs, but it sure is better than paying them other scam artists!

Are the members of Congress drug tested? Are any politicians drug tested? They should be!

I can't get a $6. an hour job without my body being dissected for imperfections!

How can we make them take a drug test?

This is a copy of the letter I sent to the Charter contact us e-mail they have printed on the bill. After TWO weeks I finally got a reply saying, sorry for the problem, please call this number! I'm not going through that again! I got the new e-mail from the FOX news story the other day for the SteveGm @Charter guy! Guess what? That e-mail doesn't even work!

The Letter,..

A few weeks ago, one of your people called me and insisted because I was a valued customer, and for always paying on time, Charter was offering me this deal. First, I would receive the digital box, then I get some free movies for 3 months. All at a $5.00 discount. After the 3 months, I keep the box, lose the movies, my price goes back to where it was. He also said I could record shows I miss, and would receive "video on demand" (which he explained all the details of)

The other day I get a bill for double the usual amount. I called 1-888-getcharter yesterday, to get an explanation. After 20  minutes of prompts, and talking to Tom, ( I believe that's what he said his name was ) he hung up on me, instead of switching me to care service, customer service, whatever! Before he hung up on me he said I didn't have the package I was told I was getting.??

So, I'm not going through that again! I'll do my communicating through here!

If I don't get a civil, non-condescending explanation of my bill, you will, not only lose this so-called, "valued customer"! I will not pay what I owe, and your box will be destroyed! Just ask Dish Network and my local Direct t.v. installer! Not to mention, Attorney General Jay Nixon and the Better Business Bureau, we're practically on speed-dial with each other! I have ZERO tolerance for your scams!

These people are crooks, nothing more! They don't want good customers! If I never pay late charges or re-connect fees,  that's not good enough!

I say, NO, to cloned food!

How come the FDA doesn't have to tell us our food is coming from cloned animals? Is there any way we can make them tell us? Personally, I've about had it the FDA anyway! They're not looking out for our best interest! Some things they approve too soon, (Vioxx, Celebrex etc.) Other things don't get the same equal chance. (marijuana for example)

From what I heard, the cloned animals are much more unhealthy and only live about half the normal life span! That's enough to give it more testing! Or at least a warning label for the consumer!

I don't want a tomato spliced with a Salmon! So, it's a meatier tomato, but has no flavor!

I'm so sick of the politics that control what I put into my body! Who is it, that is saying what I want?

I'm not mentioning names yet, but I will if nothing is done about it!

The people that vandalized my daughter's car got caught bragging about it!

It was the Crawford County Fair Queen and at least one of her friends! I don't have all the details yet, but I'm working on it.

The police once again, was no help! My daughter filed a police report when the offense took place, then went to them once SHE found out who did it! They said, since there wasn't actual damage done, there's nothing they could really do about it. It was only tuna, other foods and cat POOP smooched into the door handles, wipers, and every hole and gap they could find!

All of this because my daughter got the promotion she deserved, and the other girls were mad because they didn't! What the real bite is, she still has to work with these girls. Is that a hostile environment or what? The boss won't do anything about it either! More favoritism, nepotism, good ole boy [...] again!

Is this any way to act when being the fair queen?

They should lose their jobs, have to detail wash the car, and the queen should lose her crown. In fact, I won't be satisfied till this is SO!

Has any one else fell for this?

I've been entering those hard to read cap codes for a couple years now. I cashed them in a couple times. We got a coke umbrella, that fell apart the second time we used it! No matter what we ordered, it was [...] and just fell apart with normal use! The one they do offer that I wanted costs so many points, it's not humanly possible to drink that much! (like 10,000 or something outrageous)

So, I quit ordering the Chinese [...] trinkets they offered, and saved up the points to use at AMC theaters. 200 points and you get in a movie free! 220 points you get the movie, a popcorn and drink! (It's called, "The Golden ticket") I redeemed enough to take the whole family to the movies for Christmas!

I called ahead of time but, I didn't ask if they honored everything the ticket offered! The manager on the phone just said, yes we honor the golden ticket! Imagine my anger and frustration when they knew nothing of it at the window or snack bar! Yeah, we got the free movie, besides the snacks I now had to buy, it's an 80 mile drive for us, so, it wasn't a "free" evening for us anymore!

I tried to contact them and handle this diplomatically, I gave them 72 hours, they never gave me a reply! So, my campaign against them has begun! Just as a warning for others not to waste their time entering the "mycokerewards"!

IT'S NOT WORTH IT!

I'm watching Lou Dobbs this evening and he did a story called" English Only".

Our government is suing The Salvation Army because they fired some workers that refused to learn English! (which they gave their employees a year to do so)

The government is also trying to pass a bill giving employers the right to demand their employees to speak English at work. Which I think the employers should have the right to do! They dig into ours lives and bodies enough already, why not require one language at work?

The factory where my wife works. I've brought it up before but,  it's getting worse. She was trained by a NON English speaking person on the first machine she ran. Often, she has to train people using sign language. ( with little luck sometimes )

Another problem she has to deal with is sexual harassment. They have strict sexual harassment conduct codes there, but don't enforce them. (especially if the offender is Mexican) After many times of her fending them off, they still use the excuse, they didn't know, or understand the rules. So, they get extra chances to break the law and harass her! They know she's married but they blow kisses at her, goose her ribs, or tickle the back of her leg, and ask her out all the time! (I've about reached my end with all that!) She's there to work, not put up with all that!

It's offensive enough that this place openly hires these ILLEGAL people! They don't care if they know the language or not! You have to train and be trained by non-English speaking illegals, mess it up and you're written up! Now, I have to worry about my wife's safety and honor while she works!

By the way, they just laid off 22 American workers there and kept all the illegals!

How is this anything but murder?

They charge the guy across town, that was no where near the accident, with murder!

The pig that killed those two girls was not only driving excessively, he turned off his camera to hide his actions!
(yeah I said PIG, I'm tired of being Mr.Nice Guy!)

The cops shouldn't have control (manipulation)of their cameras! Then we'd truly know what happens!

Okay, someone please help me understand this.

Why is the man being charged with murdering a cop when the cop ran into the back of a truck, responding to a man-hunt? Sounds like he was driving too fast , not paying attention, and lost control of his vehicle.

We are expecting to maintain control of OUR vehicles at all times. You hit somebody in the rear end, it's almost always going to be your fault.

Then what about the officer that crossed the line and killed those two girls? Is there proof he was cut off? If so, why did he choose to leave his lane and kill the girls, instead of  just letting the other driver hit him? Shouldn't the people in the wreck he was responding to, be charged with the murders?

One instance locally, Mo. Trooper, (W, I call him) was heading into Leasburg and a car passed him going the opposite direction. He said, and I quote, " He didn't like the look in their eyes" So, he was doing a turn around, between two hills, in a dip in the road. Just then a friend of mine and her son came over the hill and hit him! It flipped her blazer over and injured both of them! The local law and news paper got behind the officer and said he was doing a proper, legal u-turn! Whatever! That was a few years ago, she still suffers from back pain!

I don't care what the situation is, you have to proceed in a safe manner! It does no good to get in such a hurry, innocent people pay the price! Too often these days you hear about cops crossing the line, be it threatening to ruin your life with their "power", or driving unsafely and randomly ruining lives!

There needs to better training, and more intense metal screening!

So what! I've been getting profiled all my life for having long, or weird hair! I have NO sympathy! Our system, country for that matter is being destroyed by their invasion!

 

Well, that song used to have meaning. 

School used to start after Labor Day. Which made it easier to plan our summer/vacations. Also it allowed the summer's heat to subside a bit. Every year now, it starts earlier and earlier. August in Missouri is one of the hottest months of the year. What are they thinking? They say it's so they can get an early jump on learning so they can be ready for government tests! What can they learn if they're sent home after just a few hours?

Here in Cuba, Mo. they finally approved the taxes to put air conditioning in the middle school this year. (up to now, they said, "we didn't have it when we went to school, why should you?!") Since moving the start date, every year they'd send the kids home if it got over 90' in the classrooms.

What about, when both parents work? It's not just an inconvenience, it's a frantic situation. Some have small children, that may not be able to work a locked door. Is it safer for my child to be standing outside my house waiting for a parent, family member or friend to come to their rescue? Or, it's more money right out of our pockets when I have to leave work, to hurry and beat the school bus home, find someone to watch them, or just take the rest of the day off. Or in this case, DAYS!

 

So, is there any way we can change it back to after Labor Day? Who's in charge of this? (probably the same people that control how or when, or even IF there's a daylight savings time) (my computer's still not right after the last "daylight" change) But, that's another whole topic!

I've had it with China, big businesses, and our government taking the side of profit instead of OUR welfare!

 

It's clear, China's not going to put forth the effort, concerning our safety. Our government doesn't have enough inspectors, won't hire enough inspectors, or they are just THAT corrupt! I need a job! Where do I apply to be an inspector? Or maybe a border patrolmen, no, I don't want to end up in jail like those other two poor souls that were doing their duty!

 

I know it's not going to be easy to, "Boycott" China. It's gotten hard to find a product that isn't from there. Read the fine print, shop at different places, whatever it takes to make a difference.

WE HAVE TO MAKE THE EXTRA EFFORT!

We have to send a signal to China! If "we the people" make this effort, our government won't have to do anything. That way they don't break the trade agreement. Therefore, possibly avoiding a military conflict with them.lol

 

I know to get an American made product we'll have to pay more for the higher wages and quality we get. A spatula may be $7 or &10, instead of .99! But maybe that's what the price should be. We just don't think so because our wages had been so stagnant for so long! An ear of corn maybe should be $3. (just an example) Sounds crazy, but it's probably right.

 

We need to, not only boycott China, we need to boycott the companies that moved there, or sell Chinese products! If these companies can't afford to make it here, ( I'll have to include the U.S. companies and farmers here that employ illegals ) then maybe they shouldn't be in business!

 

I can't make a difference alone. Please help me in this endeavor, for the future of our people! United we stand!
