School is out and it's time to plan "Family" vacations!  I'm sure most of you have busy summers, so mark your calendars for some "FoxFamily" Fun!

Here is the website and it will have all the details.  Shows will be listed that week.  I will post more information as the day gets closer, but this is always as good time!! Oh and the hotdogs are amazing! LOL!

Zak got his trake out on the 28th and is home!  He is doing well, and I hope to hear from Krista and have more information tomorrow!  What wonderful news!

Danny's Dad is doing much better and on the road to recovery!

Thomas is doing Amazing!  I had the honor of visiting with him last weekend and he looks Fabulous!  What a true blessing he is!  Hugs to Thomas and his family!  You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers!!

June 22nd is a Sunday might be there.
Been awhile since we have been to the zoo.

Does anyone know if a fishing lic. is required to fish at the VILLA??
And, what does it cost for a yearly out of state lic??

yeah it's the Big River and license is required...... A resident license is 12 dollars in Missouri , but I'll have to check on out of state.... The Small Mouth is great along that stretch.... Lots of carp and cat also.....

I think the $40 is for the yearly permit mr_wild. I just found it on the website. Daily permit is $7

Presently I am scheduled to work both the 22nd of June and the 12th of July! As it gets closer I am going to do my best to get off or switch for the 12th!

One would think I work all the time but I am only very part time! It just happened to hit on my work days! ( I have scheduled weekends!)

Well mom works on July 12th so she can't bring me to the BB Q...I love to come but can't so sorry..

The Zoo if she is not working and her legs are not bothering her I can go..But if she can't then I can't awwww now I realy love to go to the zoo..LOL but will have to wait an see...

I am not grilling this year. I don't want to pass out again and be Reperked!

As for Coffee night =( I started playing darts then. So, for the next 12 weeks I will be playing at Bridge Inn in Caseyville from 7-9:30.

Looks like I won't make the breadco this week and it's unlikely I'll make the drive-in or fam day at the zoo. But "the villa" sounds intriguing...

So what's the scoop on this place -- is "the Villa" a campsite or a resort or a nudist camp or what? lol. If there's stream fishing and food and fun, you can count me in.

Does anyone know if the Big River along that stretch is wadeable, or is it best to fish for smallmouth from the bank?

Do we bring our own whole pig for the pig roast or do we kill and grill what we find in the woods onsite?

Will bloggers who don't play well with others be in attendance? Will there be a political debate as we sit around the campfire?

The river is wadable.
It is a nice place with a bandstand and table's, BBq grill.
We all bring something to eat to share with everyone.Nice ole home which has a bar. I think you have to buy your liquor there. You can bring your own water and soda.
We sit around and gab and visit and eat and sing and dance.

Last year we all played well together even if there was someone there that other people didn't care for.After all we are adult's.
To hot for a campfore.But if you want one go for it.
Hope to see you there.
I am sure more will be posted in July.
Mr.Wildflower and Jana has more info and direction's.
I ain't eatin nothing I have to kill and clean and then cook. I don't think so..LOL.

Jana is there a cover charge this year for the reservation and do we need to bring plate's etc???
Tell us ahead of time so we can prepare.

Awesome! Thank you, Jeanette! I appreciate these details and am already looking forward to the fishing. But all of what you mention would seem to be great fun.

Is it for an entire weekend -- Fri and Sat nights -- or one day? Is the name of the place "the Villa" and how does one get there? But hey there's plenty of time for me to get the whole scoop
