I found this article interesting:

Angelina says that she doesnt feel like “most women” when it comes to pregnancy…you know, because she’s so much better and more spiritually in tune with herself than us regular folk:

“I’m very happy,” said Jolie, 33, according to Today. “Unlike most women, I love being pregnant. [It makes] you feel like more like a woman than you’ve ever felt. You just feel like everything about your body is there for your baby.”
-end quote.

ha! is she serious or was that a really tacky joke? Does she even know how us regular folk live?

'UNLIKE MOST' Ms. Jolie, you've got tons of $$$ to pay for all those little perks us lowly common folk cannot. Oh if only all the pregnant women on earth could enjoy long -un-interrupted naps, servants who prepare their every meal, maids who wash all their clothes, clean their house and lackies who tend to their every need. geez lady get a grip on reality, cause under those conditions, who wouldn't simply adore going through pregnancy? Heck, I bet even men would jump at the chance under those conditions.

So for Ms. Jolie to suggest that -unlike her- the rest of us mere lowly commoners dislike being pregnant is freaking insulting. I'd like to see how much Ms. Jolie would enjoy pregnancy if she had to actually do all the work herself, you know, like us common folk. Or worse yet, how much would she enjoy pregnancy living the lavish poverty lifestyle of those refugees she claims to care about so damn much? (one of the few reasons why I like her, but now her comment's a reason not to) I wonder what those women over at the refugee camp think of Ms. Jolie's belief that they don't enjoy their pregnancy as much as she does.

What a self centered [...]. Well, that's what I thought.

I’m no longer living in sunny So. California  :-(

My husband and I got fed up with the California lifestyle and got out. We've moved to beautiful Fort Wayne, Indiana where it’s clean and fresh. (The first incident of vandalism in my friend’s neighborhood, graffiti, was committed just over a month ago. It’s been the biggest news topic of the past month. I love it!)

There’s not a lot of people here and EVERYONE SPEAKS ENGLISH!!! woohoo. We see American flags everywhere we go and there's only 1000 students enrolled at the local High School my daughters now attend. I couldn't believe it, I have a feeling my children will get an excellent education here, instead of the constant problems and complaints we had with the California public school system.

People here are courteous and friendly, the houses are well kept and very affordable. We where about to close escrow on a $300,000 small three bedroom town house in Fontana. For $300,000 out here, we can live in a mansion. I LOVE INDIANA :-)

But I love Cali too, and the FOX Website (blogs) are the best, so it's impossible to stay away. Hope you're all doing well out in Los Angeles, and can you believe that Hillary won Pennsylvania? wow. Another comeback. Do we, Americans, love the underdog or what?

Big Hello to some of the best folks back in California: John, Leelila, Moogie, Scooch, blcoffman, Gina, DfD, drk, O'Clee, Samo, and all you other wonderful people I like and admire.

I still love L.A. but Indy's cool too. GO HOOSIERS!

I do!

So I had to write a post on how much I like and admire them.

Leelila Strogov and John Schwada have become my favorite FOX reporters and blog writers with good reason.

They have demonstrated to be fair, intelligent, down to earth, interesting, real professionals who actually seem interested in their viewers opinions, (not just their own) and are above all honest. That in turn makes them trustworthy, so they have earned my admiration and respect.

They're trustworthy & reliable, and are those not the most important qualities in a News Reporter? So why don’t they have their own Show/News hour? The day Leelila and John are Lead Anchors or either replace a couple of ladies on GDLA, or better yet have their own show afterwards, I’ll become a faithful FOX viewer. Till then, I’ll probably just watch when their reports are on, but not much else. Except for The Simpsons because my husband & kids love that show.

(Sorry Sebar for copying you. And no crafty I'm not weird for doing so, we don’t have to always -just- point out the negative in people, it's nice to say something nice about someone and point out the positive for a change :-)

Times sure have changed in the 19 years since Harrison Ford last donned the signature fedora of thrill-seeking archaeologist Indiana Jones. The viral spread of the trailer for "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" is proof of that.

 Indiana Jones

Harrison Ford and Shia LaBeouf star in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."

The trailer for the May 22 release has drawn highly enthusiastic responses in theaters. But it may have had its biggest impact online, on a younger audience that may not think of Ford, 65, as equal to today's spry action heroes.

After premiering February 14 on "Good Morning America," Lucasfilm and Viacom Inc.'s Paramount Pictures sent the trailer to the Web, plus movie theaters and TV stations around the world. Paramount estimates the trailer was seen more than 200 million times worldwide in the first week alone.

Harry Knowles, who runs the movie fan site AintItCool.com (his official title is Head Geek), says he first saw a bootleg version of the trailer online, then the official version online, and then saw it twice in theaters.

There were cheers in the theater when the familiar theme song kicked in, Knowles said, and comments on his Web site have been positive. "People generally really, really loved the trailer," he said. "Some people think it's a little more cartoonish-looking compared to the prior (films), with him whipping the lights and swinging on them and stuff. But at the same time, it seems that everyone is extremely excited that there's a new 'Indiana Jones' film. The excitement for it is palpable. It's much more aggressively anticipated than anything else that's coming out right now."

"The trailer caught on like wildfire, around the world, in all mediums," said Gerry Rich, Paramount's president of worldwide marketing, who's targeting moviegoers "from 8 to 80. The response has been sensational and it shows what technology can do when you have material that is so appealing to audiences."

Older audiences certainly remember Indy, but that's not the prime ticket-buying demographic. Thus the aggressive online campaign, which included what Paramount says is a record 4.1 million views on the Yahoo movie site in the first week and 2.6 million on the official IndianaJones.com site, the most ever for the studio.

"It looks to be THE highly anticipated movie of the summer," said Mark Mazrimas, marketing manager for independent theater chain Classic Cinemas. However, "this hasn't been on the screen for so long, (the challenge) is capturing the youth."

The brainchild of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, the franchise kicked off with "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" in 1981, followed by "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" three summers later. "The Last Crusade" was released in 1989, boosting the worldwide box office total to $1.2 billion.

Now, with the buzz sparked, Rich -- who declined to make opening weekend predictions -- just wants to keep fans' attention: "The (only) negative comment from people was that they have to wait until May to see the movie."

I can't wait! And the best part is that Karen Allen & Cate Blanchett are in too!!!

But....it made me wonder if our Presidents have doubles. Does anyone know if they do? If they don’t, that'll be another reason why I didn’t like it. Too far fetched. There’s some action, so that’s a plus, but...Dennis Quaid's character ruins it. To me this movie was more like a Dennis Quaid ego trip. No offense to Dennis, I like him, he's a great actor. But seriously, his character alone saves the day? c'mon now.

Then there's Forest Whitaker. What a great actor this man is.

I liked it. It's the same concept as "The Blair Witch Project", a person's view of what's happening, through their hand held camcorder. I don't really like that style of filming, kind of makes me dizzy because it moves so much, the camera's never still, but it was worth it. Suspense, lots of action, and science fiction.

I enjoyed it :-)

......United Nations "Messenger of Peace"

How cool is that?

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Friday designated actor and activist George Clooney a U.N. "Messenger of Peace."

art.clooney.gi.jpg

George Clooney has been campaigning for an end to the war in Darfur.

Mr. Clooney will help promote global awareness of the world body's activities, especially in its far-flung peacekeeping missions.

The actor, who has been campaigning for an end to the 4½-year war in Darfur and humanitarian aid for the millions caught up in the conflict, will become the ninth U.N. peace envoy.

George Clooney joins fellow actor Michael Douglas, Nobel Peace Prize winner Elie Wiesel, primate expert Jane Goodall, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, Israeli conductor Daniel Barenboim, Brazilian author Paulo Coelho, Japanese-American violinist Midori Goto, and Olympic equestrian competitor Princess Haya of Jordan.

WOW. What a man.

That has got to have been one of the stupidest movies ever made! Jason Statham what where you thinking? I love this guy, he's incredibly hot, very athletic, and made three good movies before this lame one. I hope his next movie is better than In the name of the King, which shouldn't be to hard. Thank goodness that I was able to walk out of the movie and get a rain check. I'm using it for "Cloverfield" on sunday. I hope I don't have to get up and leave in the middle of that one as well.

OK, I never thought I'd write a post on my blog about someone's beauty, but I am.

I've read so many comments saying that Jillian’s unattractive, that I had to write one saying she's not, because saying she's unattractive, is a flat out lie. Regardless of what your standards of beauty might be, you have to admit, she's beautiful. And now that she has that ultra-sexy body after giving birth to her baby girl, WOW!

Esta chica esta recontra caliente! She's super hot. Not just hot, but SUPER hot. I have no idea how anyone can say otherwise. Sorry people, but let's be honest, you may not like her for whatever reason, but you can't deny her beauty. C'mon people! Be honest.

OK, that was corny, but in all seriousness, I Am Legend is a great movie.

My family and I saw it during Christmas, and we loved it! It's full of suspense and Will Smith is incredibly good in it. And, he's so darn sexy, it's criminal! He's ridiculously sexy, wow, what a body. Ok, enough of Will's amazing body, if you like a good story with suspense and action, this is the movie to see. I loved it.

What in the hell is this?

And why do my son's absolutely love it? There's no violence whatsoever, no sexy female characters with exaggerated breasts and azses, no stupid, gross, ignorant, obscene, disrespectful, arrogant characters of any kind. So why is it on NickJr? That type of programming has no business on television. Our children will have unbelievable psychological damage as a direct result of this type of programming. Our daughters will grow up incredibly confused and ashamed, our son's will most definitely, without a doubt, grow up to be huge homosexuals. For sure. But, look at the bright side, they might grow up to be less violent.

Two bored casino dealers are waiting at the craps table.

A very attractive blonde woman from Alabama arrived
....and bet twenty-thousand dollars ($20,000) on a single
roll of the dice.

She said, "I hope you don't mind, but I feel much
luckier when I play topless."

With that, she stripped to the waist; rolled the dice;
and yelled, "Come on, baby.... This Southern Girl needs new clothes!"

As the dice came to a stop, she jumped up-and-down...
and squealed... "YES! YES! I WON! I WON!"

She hugged each of the dealers... and then picked up
her winnings and her clothes, and quickly departed.

The dealers stared at each other dumfounded. Finally,
one of them asked, "What did she roll?"

The other answered, "I don't know...
I thought you were watching."

Moral of this story ---
Not all Southerners are stupid.
Not all blondes are dumb.
But, all men ..... are men

I can't believe I'm writing a post about "The Simpson's", but.... why not?!

My husband is a HUGE fan and so are our kids! Here's my hubby with Homer:   They have been buggin about this movie. Hope it turns out to be as good as they think it will be.

I was watching the news yesturday, and it seems that some people are offended by the idea of turning some of the 7-eleven's into Kwik-E-Marts. I thought it was a fantastic idea and would love to visit one and buy my kids (umm...husband) some stuff. (if anyone knows where we have one, please let me know) I don't think it's offensive or in anyway a type of discrimination. But, I'm not Indian. Then again, I'm the first to laugh at myself, so...I don't see the harm in it.

It is a CARTOON. What do you think?
