I found this article interesting:

Angelina says that she doesnt feel like “most women” when it comes to pregnancy…you know, because she’s so much better and more spiritually in tune with herself than us regular folk:

“I’m very happy,” said Jolie, 33, according to Today. “Unlike most women, I love being pregnant. [It makes] you feel like more like a woman than you’ve ever felt. You just feel like everything about your body is there for your baby.”
-end quote.

ha! is she serious or was that a really tacky joke? Does she even know how us regular folk live?

'UNLIKE MOST' Ms. Jolie, you've got tons of $$$ to pay for all those little perks us lowly common folk cannot. Oh if only all the pregnant women on earth could enjoy long -un-interrupted naps, servants who prepare their every meal, maids who wash all their clothes, clean their house and lackies who tend to their every need. geez lady get a grip on reality, cause under those conditions, who wouldn't simply adore going through pregnancy? Heck, I bet even men would jump at the chance under those conditions.

So for Ms. Jolie to suggest that -unlike her- the rest of us mere lowly commoners dislike being pregnant is freaking insulting. I'd like to see how much Ms. Jolie would enjoy pregnancy if she had to actually do all the work herself, you know, like us common folk. Or worse yet, how much would she enjoy pregnancy living the lavish poverty lifestyle of those refugees she claims to care about so damn much? (one of the few reasons why I like her, but now her comment's a reason not to) I wonder what those women over at the refugee camp think of Ms. Jolie's belief that they don't enjoy their pregnancy as much as she does.

What a self centered [...]. Well, that's what I thought.

i never liked her. i always thought she was a freak. it's easy to be all spiritually in tune when you don't have to anything to worry about other then having a bad picture taken of ya and plastered on all the magazines.

Hello dasvics,
Oh I loved being pregnant too ya know?
Even only once. But remember being so very happy. As so many of us are...
I did hear that comment too and, was wondering what she was thinking? Like she is the 1st & only woman who ever had a child ? It was how it was said and, I was a bit put off by that comment/photo too, because oh man there are so many family's blessed with pregnancy and NOT MOVIE STARS and still loving life too! God bless all us Mom's. So Much respect 24-7 !!
A Mom yourself I Hope you are doing very well, and take good care,
Love Ya Brenda

I liked her better when she used to French kiss her brother, or when she wore that vile of Billy Bob's blood around her neck or the jungle hut she bought in Vietnam that's surrounded by unspent landmines.

That does seem like an insensitive remark, but can we mark it up to being hormonal, dasvics? Obviously she has no idea what it's like to be an average woman, but then again, she's probably more stable than I might have expected, given her early life and parentage!

If you go easier on Angelina, I'll go easier on Hillary ?

hey Moogie, no problem. The thing is, I like Angelina, I think she's a pretty cool human being. But she really screwed up with that remark, it was incredibly mean and insensitive. I'm sure that any woman would have a better time going through the aches and discomforts of pregnancy if they had the help and support rich people do. When I was pregnant I felt uncomfortable and very tired at times, but when I thought about those women living in harsh conditions while pregnant, well, lets just say I felt lucky and I have a lot of respect and admiration for women who go through pregnancy and give birth in unimaginable conditions. I could certainly understand if they complain and dislike pregnancy, and imo, they have every right to, that doesn't diminish my perception of them in the least. Therefore I would never be so self centered, ignorant, and presumptuos to make such a comment. It surprises me that a woman of her stature and awareness of world isues would be so careless in making such a statement. But hey, we're all entitled to make mistakes and I'm hoping shes got more depth than that.

She is weird and out of touch with reality. They named their daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, and switch the initials around, and look at the skull and bones t-shirt from their first baby pictures of her. I think Zahara is a sad little girl in pictures and feel bad for Shiloh, because of her name.

Their are a lot of mothers in competion with their daughters, but it seems to be during the teen years, not at birth.

I remember Miss Jolie was the same woman that mentioned sometime back, "I don't see how woman can be selfish a go through pregnacy when there are so many kids out there to adopt." i feel the fun part of being pregnant is going through the sleepless nights and all the baby stuff that comes along with it. I also think you should be married and not have kid's out of the blue.(adoption as well. Im not trying to be mean but I do agree that was selfish what miss Jolie said. with all those kid's you would think by now she should go from Miss to Mrs.

I think you may be reading a bit to much into her comment. Money isn't the issue here but it is obviously something your very envious of. I know that during all three of my pregnancys I complained about swollen feet and heart burn and who knows what else. I think she was giving a honest heart felt comment that reflects on the norm... women complain when they are pregnant!

Oh geez how illuminating. I hadn't a clue that the reason I wrote this is because I'm jealous of Angies money. You must have a Ph.D. in blogology. (the study of blog Sociological Psychology)
thanks for setting me straight, the world is safe once more :-)

amen sweetie, jolie is a home wrecking blaspheming [...] who cares nothing about anybody other than herself, that said she'll get hers dont u worry ur pretty head, if not in this life then in the next, always remember when judging these types of people, for the most part they are high school dropouts, ignorant on pretty much anything other than their particular craft, and to quote Fitzgerald, " are quite different from us"...
