I’m no longer living in sunny So. California  :-(

My husband and I got fed up with the California lifestyle and got out. We've moved to beautiful Fort Wayne, Indiana where it’s clean and fresh. (The first incident of vandalism in my friend’s neighborhood, graffiti, was committed just over a month ago. It’s been the biggest news topic of the past month. I love it!)

There’s not a lot of people here and EVERYONE SPEAKS ENGLISH!!! woohoo. We see American flags everywhere we go and there's only 1000 students enrolled at the local High School my daughters now attend. I couldn't believe it, I have a feeling my children will get an excellent education here, instead of the constant problems and complaints we had with the California public school system.

People here are courteous and friendly, the houses are well kept and very affordable. We where about to close escrow on a $300,000 small three bedroom town house in Fontana. For $300,000 out here, we can live in a mansion. I LOVE INDIANA :-)

But I love Cali too, and the FOX Website (blogs) are the best, so it's impossible to stay away. Hope you're all doing well out in Los Angeles, and can you believe that Hillary won Pennsylvania? wow. Another comeback. Do we, Americans, love the underdog or what?

Big Hello to some of the best folks back in California: John, Leelila, Moogie, Scooch, blcoffman, Gina, DfD, drk, O'Clee, Samo, and all you other wonderful people I like and admire.

I still love L.A. but Indy's cool too. GO HOOSIERS!

Dasvics~ there you are - I, too, was wondering what happened as I haven't seen you pop up on any of the blogs. How wonderful to be able to get away from all the crap out here in tinsel town. I think you made a smart move and your kids will really be the ones to benefit! I'm jealous, but happy for you. Don't forget us.........bless you. ol grama

LOL, the number one advocate of open borders and protector of illegal aliens jumps ship for a better life outside of Mexifornia. How ironic.

Don't worry though, the illegals will overtake your new state within the next ten years, guaranteed. Enjoy the peace while you can.

And now you've switched to McCain? You're a real enigma Dasvics, but congratulations on your temporary escape from the third world.

whatever. I have never been or will be a supporter of anything illegal. Im just not a mean heartless person, so excuse me for trying to be nice.

And thanks. My family and I enjoy living in the U.S. so I hope you're wrong about this beautiful State changing into CA.

And no, I haven't switched to anyone. I like a lot of different politicians. so ha.

Just wait dasvics, soon it will be just like Colton, CA....

Because "Liberalism is a mental disorder"
and it's spreading like metastatic Cancer...

Now, you'll just have the addition of freezing temperatures and icy highways to drive on half of the year...

I'm from New England, I know all about it.

Good luck.

I'm hurt. I didn't get a "shout out." I know I've been gone so you forget about me and all. I've been concentrating on more writing than blogging. Well I am back...at least a little.

I'm glad to know you made it out of Cali alive and ended up in the Mid-West. I am from the South so I know how much different the rest of the US is than out here.

I wish you the best.

well hello hottie. aren't you and tayl just full of pessimistic forecasts. gee thanks. yes its true that we now must somehow survive the cold icy roads and snowstorms, not to mention tornados, but ill choose the gloomy weather forecast over California's overcrowded crime infested smog filled fire prone non-English speaking grocery stores and criminal friendly neighborhoods ANY day. besides the [...] weather and harsh driving conditions might be a deterrent for, shall we say, the criminal element. or at least I hope. and last, I think its completely insane that people who love America and cherish everything this country has to offer with the utmost gratitude, have to move elsewhere because their homes have been overun by indignant lawless disrespectful inconsiderate people. but, that's just the way it is. I mean, its not like anyone gives a [...]. right?

and thanks for wishing me luck. Same to you, after all, your the one who's still living in Cali. good luck to you guys, and I seriously hope you're wrong. take care.

It looks like they're all moving south to Mexico...

Which is hard on the housing market, but things are improving around here.

I love So. Cal!

Last week I saw a billboard sign that said:
NEED HELP, CALL JESUS 1-800-555-3787

Just out of curiosity, I did. A Mexican showed up with a lawnmower.

improving? haha....that's funny. just cause u live in a nice neighborhood it doesn't mean that anythings improving. trust me. somehow bs and crime has a way of finding its way in. not to mention the smog. I doubt the air quality will ever improve. and all that smoke from all those fires, don't make it any better. I used to love So. Cal. till it turned into an overcroweded crime infested over populated traffic jammed polluted nightmare. I was in west LA not long ago and even they're starting to look shity. so unless you're a millionaire and live in beverly hills or napa valley....it'll all look like [...] eventually because all the good people are moving out and all the criminals are moving in. I guess they like it over there. must be all the convenient grocery stores.

Have to agree with Dasvics for once. There's no improvement whatsoever in living conditions here, and I see no signs of any illegals moving back to their homeland. That's largely because other states have chased them out and our corrupt state government offers them sanctuary cities here. There are more Americans moving out of this state than any time in its history, yet the population is growing. Where are all these newcomers coming from? Answer, Mexico.

and oh how original, yet another Mexican joke post from tayl. how humorous and surprising. not.

hey tayl, ya got any other jokes? like maybe from other countries, besides Mexico for a change? Did u know that's theres other countries? even other Hispanic/Latin ones? how about an Argentine joke for a change. give the Mexican ones a rest. what do ya say? got any Italian or Irish jokes? any about the French? aw cmon, you've got to have jokes making fun of the French. every true American has got a ton of those. I bet dfd knows a few. and don't forget the British, those are funny too.

As soon as I find a French lawn mower named Jesus I'll let you know. In the meantime I'll stick to my life experience and what I know, which is unfortunately millions and millions of ILLEGAL MEXICANS. Oh wait, I think I have a black joke (African American to you).

How do you get a black kid to stop jumping on the bed?

You put velcro on the ceiling.

How do you get him down once he gets stuck up there?

Give a Mexican kid a bat and tell him the black kid's a pinata.

Hey, here's another one, that can be applied to any Central or South American country....

Juan, Carlos and Antonio all jump off a cliff to see who will hit the ground first. who wins?

Society.

Why wasn't Jesus born in Guatamala?

He couldn't find 3 wise men or a virgin.

What do you do when you see a Nicaraguan riding a bike?

Chase after him, it's probably yours!
