He's the only one I've heard admit that he's made a mistake and will fix it. I'm talking about his stance on illegal immigration. He's said that he's heard the American people, what they think, what they want, and that he will change his plan to better serve Americans and their needs. Or something like that, I don't remember his exact words, but that’s what he meant. So why would Rush or any other Republican continue to smear his name and badmouth him? He's not perfect, he acknowledged that, no one is, and now he's trying to make things right. Give the guy a break.

And Mr. McCain, could you please consider Condee as your Vice-President? that would be so cool.

I have always liked Senator McCain, because of his willingness to work with others from other parties in attempts to accomplish good and because of his service to the nation. We should be hearing more about his story as a POW in the months to come.

I was a little concerned about him when he got into a one-on-one discourse with Mr. Romney during the debates. Anderson Cooper was trying to referee, which was to Mr. McCain’s benefit, but he did not seem to get the point while continuing to misinterpret his opponent’s position.

He seems to with regularity twist his opponent’s views. I am not sure if Mr. McCain does it because he just doesn’t understand, or is it with intent. If it is with intent, he will eventually undermine his standing in front of the world. If it is because of the other reason; I don’t want to go there at this juncture. I hope Mr. McCain will contrast his position on issues by intelligent and objective argument, he will accentuate that one has learned from experience and not simply have experience. Arguments based on unfounded opinions and subjectivity doesn’t do much and make him seem less presidential.

I agree with you concerning the commentary coming from the so called conservative radio personalities. I don’t listen to them much because their words give me the actual image of who they really are.

Excellent points. I hope it all works out for him. I've always liked him, I think of him as a strong & intelligent man, a true American who loves his country, contrary to what talk show hosts say.
What I find unfair is that they say such nasty things about him based on his opinion on immigration. That’s not fair, we should look at all his accomplishments as well and not judge him solely on his mistakes- (not that I'm saying his stance was a mistake, I don't know enough about it or the situation to make that assumption)
We all make mistakes, there’s no such thing as a perfect candidate, just like there’s no such thing as a perfect human being.

I admire his service to our country, I believe that any leader who sends troops to war, should have fought in one and know first hand what it is like. And what I really like about him the most, is the fact that he’s able to admit when he’s wrong and his willingness to make things right. I love that quality in a person.

i think mccain is great too. and I have to admit that i don't understand what all the hoopla is about that recent video that supposedly showed him "losing his temper." he seemed entirely controlled to me... a little irritated, that's all! why all the fuss???

Yeah... I liked Mc Cain years back as he took his stand against us using torture. As a veteran and a big believer in Star Trek Voyager...

Anywho, dasvics! I was kidding about the Condi/Colin thing... if Obama gets in and Mc Cain does that it would be too transparent. But then again...

As soon as McCain gets in, back to Uncle Teddy he goes. But if you had to pick the three evils, he is the least destructive we see so far, though Ann Coulter says differently. Does she know something we do not know?

ha ha...that’s so funny...a believer in Star Trek Voyager??? ha ha...he's a Trekkie too? alright! I love Star Trek :-)

I'm not kidding about Condee, I love that girl. She’s awesome. Too transparent? oh c'mon now, who the hell cares? Aren’t we looking at the person and not the color or gender at this point? I know I am ;-)

McCain lost his temper! Alright! the news keep getting better and better. GO MCCAIN! I love a strong man that’s not a little [...] like....Obama? I’m so disappointed in him. What a schmuck. Who wants a little [...] as Commander in Chief? I know I don't.

Ann Coulter gets on my nerves. She tries to be funny, but isn’t. She’s too anal and uptight to even try to be funny. Give it a rest Ann….you’re not funny, stop trying.
Conservatives like her shouldn’t even try to be. They cant pull it off, all they manage to do with their so called “humor” is piss people off.

Juan "Z-Visa" McCain has no plan at all to FIX what he claimed was a REALIZED mistake on his part...he's working right now to find a print shop to expedite that new order of Z-Visas he wants to hand out to Illegal Aliens here in America...

What? Are you sure about that? I believe him when he said he's going to listen to what the American people want. He said he was going to secure the border first, and then come up with a plan conservatives and Americans would feel comfortable with. Didn’t he say that? Is he lying or did I misunderstand something?

OK, I finally saw the outraged McCain on video. As I laughed my ass off, I thought, if this is an angry person, I hope no one sees me upset. ever.

msnbc you're pathetic! Its absolutely ridiculous of you to say that is what an angry person sounds like. That's what an annoyed person sounds like when they're asked the same question over and over. But angry? NOT!

what a joke.

Did he also apologize for calling Americans lazy and the illegals are only doing the jobs all us lazy Americans won't do?

And will he apologize after he gives all the illegals amnesty and a path to citizenship?

This lying fool is only apologizing because he needs votes. He will be back to the crazy dumb @ss he always has been after the election is over.
