John McCain emphatically denied a romantic relationship with a female telecommunications lobbyist on Thursday and said a report by The New York Times suggesting favoritism for her clients is "not true."

"I'm very disappointed in the article. It's not true," the likely Republican presidential nominee said as his wife, Cindy, stood beside him during a news conference called to address the matter.

"I've served this nation honorably for more than half a century," said McCain, a four-term Arizona senator and former Navy pilot. "At no time have I ever done anything that would betray the public trust."

"I intend to move on," he added.

Poor guy, I feel bad for him. And I still think he's a good man. I'm sorry, but is it really that big a deal? I bet this sort of thing happens all the time, with just about every Politician. I'm just waiting to hear who Obama and Hillary are messing around with. But not Ron Paul,  I dont know why, but he just doesnt seem like the type. Hillary and Obama, oh yeah.

hey dasvics how are ya? Thanx for doing this I am too tired. No it is just crap. Does anyone remember the line "I did not have sex with that woman?" Please what a waste that was. Does anyone really know how much that lie cost us taxpayers or what?
No I do not care to hear this news flash. When did running for President become like going back to High School?
We are in a War, people are dying, starving, homeless, unemployed, sick w/o insurance or help, illegal that is just some of the issues I care about. How about you?

I agree with you scooch. Now those are ALL important and legitimate issues imo. Thats what these politicians/candidates should focus on. How cares if he got a little lovin' on the side? Good for him, at least we know he's a happy & satisfied man :-)

No, none of this really matters. This is nothing compared to his role in The Savings and Loans Taxpayer Bailout. Now that is noteworthy....

Hey statueman, how you been? I like them all just as much, Hillary, Obama, McCain, Rudy..(but hes not meant to be, at this time.....awwww) I don’t know what the hells wrong with me, I like everybody. But its weird cause at the same time there are certain things I dont like about each of them. I guess everyone wants a perfect leader, impeccable, unblemished...but there’s simply no such thing.

One more thing, after the last Democratic Debate, Hillary seemed so much smarter than Obama, imo. What do you think? Moogie said she seemed a lot meaner too…ha ha....Moogie's so cool.

I've heard some experts say that Hillary Clinton at this moment is like a wounded animal as far as the campaign is concerned...and we all know what happens when an animal is wounded. So the gloves are in motion now...we'll see what happens when the Texas and Ohio primaries are done and over. One more thing, I hope that neither candidate chooses New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine for the Vice Presidential mate...that man has usurped the will of the New Jersey residents...imagine what he will do to the rest of us if he gets into office. The Democrats would be wiser to choose Governor Tim Kaine for Vice President, since he is a fair man. These two were on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace.

Hi TDH, I have no idea. For all I know, it'll be Ralph Nader.

Well let's see... H. Clinton was a corporate lawyer sitting on the board of walmart, one of the most notorious companies known for exploitin cheap labor and keeping their own employee's annual income thousands below the poverty level while the seven surviving family members of the walmart empire are worth an estimated $8 BILLION.

Obama, he was a lawyer representing one of chicago's most notorious slum lords who is right now as we read this in Federal Court facing Federal Racketterring charges.

McCain, he supposedly played a role in the S&L taxpayer bailout. If you check your facts there were Five Senators who attended those meetings for the Lincoln S&L, four were Democrates. You might also find it interesting that Special Counsel Robert Bennett recomended that Senators McCain and Glen be dropped from the investigation, they weren't. Ultimately the Senate Ethics Committee found McCain and Glen to be guilty of nothing more that "poor judgement" and that their actions were not "improper nor attended with gross negligence.

As far as the rest of his carrear, before politics he served as a Naval Aviator and was wounded in the Forrestla fire, he was shot down ovr Vietnam and endured five and a half years as a prisoner of war, which also included torture.

As for the supposed affair with the lobbyist, funny how that came out so all of a sudden isn't it. Do you think maybe, just maybe it's just a smear tatic? They certainly can't attack his years of servicein the Navy, nor can they use the S&L crisis against him since the senate didn't implicate him in any wrong doing.

Ugh,

I knew I slaughtered that piece. Sorry for all the misspelling, I was in a hurry and talking about how our views are calculated by politicians for lobbyists regarding the California budget cuts at the same time.

Just in case you don't see it, for every email letter or call received by our representatives they count it as 1000 people for or against depending on how you comment.

Type-o on the figures of the wife and children of the long gone Walmart founder, there are seven but they are worth $8 BILLION each.
