What in the hell is this?

And why do my son's absolutely love it? There's no violence whatsoever, no sexy female characters with exaggerated breasts and azses, no stupid, gross, ignorant, obscene, disrespectful, arrogant characters of any kind. So why is it on NickJr? That type of programming has no business on television. Our children will have unbelievable psychological damage as a direct result of this type of programming. Our daughters will grow up incredibly confused and ashamed, our son's will most definitely, without a doubt, grow up to be huge homosexuals. For sure. But, look at the bright side, they might grow up to be less violent.

YEP! There are worse things in the world than an incredibly gay non-violent man. Such as an incredibly straight and violent psycho, like Osama.

Well, if you want her to grow up happy and wish her to remain innocent for as long as possible, sure. But, I don't know what kind of valuable influence she could receive out of a program aimed at children with no sexual content or violence of any kind. I'm so disappointed in NickJr. They've crossed the line this time. Now this is a much better alternative:

Yea, great stuff. Did you ever watch Barney and really listen to some of the dialog? The purple guy was funny in between the lines (after you've watched it 90 times). Mr. Rogers Neighborhood was a morning staple for my son and I, just so sweet, and I even watched it as a kid along with Sesame Street. Those 2 shows crossed some generations, the did. I use to work in children's programming aquisistions for a studio and we saw some real crap come through our office. My son was a guiney pig and sometimes I'd bring videos to his preschool to see the reactions. Very interesting.

Hey ladies. Good stuff, as in the Gabba, or the "read a book" rap song? What did you ladies think of that very special video?

My kids watch Sesame Street and we all sit and watch Mr. Rogers. ahhhhh....now that's good stuff that I let my kids watch.

I could show you a picture of the guinea pig at 4 years old but he is too damn cute. Just imagine a curly haired little cutey with a blondish "unicorn" curl in the middle of his forehead and a devilish grin. (I don't have my pics on this puter, one day...) I still have some old videos that will never be seen.

Frank, kinda I am reminded of HR Puffin'Stuff seeing these pics. HR was kinda scary with the trees and the witch, but I had a crush on the brit kid. Remember Sigmond and the Seamonster (with Jody from that show with Buffy)?

After watching this show with my boys as much as I have, I highly recommend it. srsly. It's very entertaining and my boys get a lot of good wholesome advice. There's a lot of music and catchy lyrics. I sing along with them and it's a lot of fun. If you have children this is a must. My sons are 2,4, and even my 9 year sits with us and enjoys it! Good times :-)

Lots of talent Frank. I think you'll enjoy it and you might even learn something, but I must warn you, you might become slightly gay....er :-)

Haven't seen anything like it since Inky Blinky turned gay. Deputy Barney Demboy approves.

Well, I suppose it's no worse than growing up on drug inspired kids shows like H.R. Puffinstuff and Lidsville.
