Whatever you want to call it.

Sometimes enough is enough, and you just feel an unavoidable compulsion to pipe in. As some of you longtime bloggers may know, my blogs usually have nothing good to say about the Democratic party, yet this blog is uniquely different. I plan on saying exactly eleven nice things about Barack Obama (no significance in the number), simply because he deserves praise for where he has gotten to this point, but don't fool yourself into thinking that I'm going to be too awfully nice.

Before delving into how great Obama is, let's cut to the chase here - Obama's popularity is the result of his own exuberance and is entirely the product of his own magnanomous star quality. If there is any element of truth that Democrats actually oppose the idea of organized evangelical religion, then it would obvously be an insult to most Democrats to compare Obama to the almighty God. Perhaps we should refer to Obama as the all-powerful Zues - at least this analogy fits accordingly with the mythical fantasy world that Democrats have lived in since the 1960's in a land that began as The Great Society and eventually turned into a 1990's kingdom known as "the common good." We can merely wonder where the Candy Land path of Obama's campaign platform will lead this nation, and more specifically what it will be called - it won't be America anymore. I have to admit that I find it disheartening to hear and see all the negativity surrounding Obama's past in issues ranging from Islamic roots, to the racist congregation, to the issue of political inexperience, and so on. The majority of the negativity that surrounds Obama is purely useless rhetoric and merely underscores the true issues that should be keyed in on, such as Obama's dangerous campaign platform and the deceptive practices that Obama has employed in issues such as campaign finance. It seems that the propoganda that surrounds Obama has led his followers to insist that everyone should "like" Obama or else. I have seen this in many blogsites, and the reverberating tone is that if you do not "like" Obama then be forewarned that you are some sort of deranged Nazi skinhead with an agenda against African-Americans. With this in mind, let me speak very loud and clear in saying that "I like Obama!" By God, I really like the guy! He seems to be genuinely concerned about others, he seems to be a good family man that provides well for his family, and he seems to be a good father. Well super(!), but I still fail to see why Obama would be a good president just because I "like" him. The Democrat insistance that everyone "like" Obama seems to indicate that this presidential campaign is nothing more than a ridiculous popularity contest and really has nothing to due with the direction of this nation. If "change" is the mantra of the Obama Democrats, then obviously this "change" is solely the product of creating a presidency for the sake of "like" versus the needs of the nation.

To the bloggers whom insist on spreading the fictitious stories about Obama (stories that are actually an embarrassment to even read) your stories are asinine but definitely keep 'em coming if you choose to! For seven years the Democrats spread more unproven hype about President Bush that has been repeatedly and continuously debunked. From issues of "blood for oil," to stories that President Bush (with help from Cheney of course) personally placed explosives every three floors on both Twin Towers and then Bush personally pushed the plunger to detonate the explosives located within Tower 7 - reportedly Bush did this from his home planet deep within the galaxy Andromeda while Dick Cheney and Osama bin Laden hid together in an underground bunker south of Cleveland, Ohio while they watched reruns of Happy Days. In 2005, it is reported that Bush ordered NASA scientists to create Hurricane Katrina - reportedly the infantile Katrina was made in a secret government factory that only George Bush and the former attorney general Alberto Gonzalez know about - of course Democrats somehow know all about these supposedly secret factories. I personally liked the fact of knowing that with the advent of the Patriot Act that George Bush personally listens in on every one of my phone calls that I make - no wonder Pizza Hut always messes up my delivery order, I would imagine that Bush is the one putting those anchovies on my pizza even though I repeatedly demand "no anchovies!" With George listening in on all your calls, consider yourself warned, if you call a "1-900" phone number, the heavy breathing on the other end of the line may not be the girl receiving her $2.99 per minute rate!

Clearly, George Bush holds the stigma of being one of the most hated presidents in history due to the never ending efforts of the Democrat Party - and then the Democrats have the nerve to cry and slobber when the mud is thrown back at them in fierce negativity of Barack Obama. Personally, I would have thought that enough would be enough and that the constant barrages at President Bush by the liberal Democrats would have shown the conservatives how not to act. For example, referring to the Democratic party as "socialists" is actually entirely acceptable - the Democratic agenda actually follows a close model of the written work of Marx and Engels - read it for yourself and then begrudgingly agree that the argument is par for the course. By comparison though, reciting ridiculous stories such as insisting that Barack Obama and Ayman al-Zawahiri shared a dormroom in college would be completely unacceptable - obviously we know that Obama and Zawahiri never shared a dorm because Obama attended Columbia and Harvard where he studied interpretive Constitutionality while Zawahiri graduated from Cairo University where he majored in chopping off the heads of the infidels. As you can see, Obama and Zawahiri just simply never crossed paths - it never happened.

A dramatic number of Obama supporters insist that they are voting Obama because they feel that this nation is going in the wrong direction. Despite the fact that I "like" Obama so darned much, the one trillion dollars in new welfare spending initiatives that Obama is offering in order to buy votes (with American tax dollars) just almost (and I said "almost") leaves me saying that I don't really "like" Obama all that much. If the Obama voters appreciate freedom and liberty as much as they claim to, these same voters should take the time to read Obama's plans on healthcare, retirement, minimum wage, immigration reform, and education. For a good laugh, read up on Obama's plan to control wasteful government spending and then remember that Obama never voted against one wasteful Democrat earmark spending bill. Read up on Obama's plan to end the nation's poverty crisis, and after you wipe the tears from your eyes read up on Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal (specifically the portions that the Supreme Court struck down as unconstitutional) and feel the hair on your arms stand on end. If you would like to be scared, read Obama's pledge on ending the war in Iraq and the precarious nature that Obama wants to leave the Iraqis in. In trying to make Americans feel good about themselves, Obama has stated that the useless United Nations will take control of the issue that is Iraq - whew, I feel better already considering the fantastic history of U.N. peacekeeping missions! Furthermore, Obama is making a promise which he cannot keep - Obama does not control the U.N., yet Obama has publically pledged to allow the U.N. to control our U.S. military. In order to run faster from Iraq, Obama has also stated that Iran and Syria will play a leading role in allowing the U.S. to "wash our hands of Iraq," which is an interesting concept due to the fact that the U.S. and Iraq coalition forces have spent five years working to keep the influence of terror supporting nations such as Iran and Syria out of Iraq - and now Obama has outlined a plan to literally hand Iraq to these same nations. Before running from Iraq, Obama has the great plan of asking the United Nations to supervise the rewriting of Iraq's Constitution. Have you noticed that Obama has indicated that the United Nations will lead in the Iraqi Constitutional Convention and that the Iraqi government will have to essentially "deal with it"? Even more provocatively, who in the U.N. will face the daunting task of rewriting Iraq's Constitution? To no surprise, the likely authors of Iraq's new Constititon will be members of the U.N. Human Rights Council, which coincidentally is primarily controlled by oppressive Arab nations - so much for that whole democracy idea in Iraq, it was a nice idea though and the Iraqis seemed to enjoy it for a while

Regardless of how much I really, really, really like Obama, the whole issue ends the same - Obama's platform is a train wreck waiting to happen. The liberals simply need to get past believing that this whole year is the issue of racial politics, and conservatives need to get past the fact that Obama's father was a Muslim. Obama is one of the worst choices this nation has seen for a potential president for reasons that are truthfully of Obama's own making and have nothing to do with race, Muslims, Jim Crows, Reverand Wrights, Oprah Winfreys, teenage drug binges, Indonesian jihadism, Hawaiian pineapples, or whatever else may be used as a reason to ignore the fact that Obama's candidacy consists of bad political philosophy hidden conveniently behind a great smile and a commanding voice. The Obama supporters are blinded by the popularity of Obamamania and many of those whom do not support Obama are blinded by failing to read any more than grossly biased material that makes the National Enquirer look subtle at best. For the sake of this nation, if Obama wins the Democratic nomination - he currently leads by 169 delegates - Americans need to actually educate themselves about this prematurely and irrationally developed national hero and make a more informed decision on whether they actually want this man to be president.

Daniel, good to see you posting again. "Interpretive Constitutionality"??? Isn't that what passes for Constitutional Law in most universities nowadays?

At any rate, I agree we should be focused on policy, as opposed to some silly references to his name, his father, his pastor or anything else that causes the real focus to shift away from just what his plans as Commander-in-Chief actually are.

It's the radicals on both the left and right that keep spreading the outrageous stories. The political parties themselves stay out of the truly goofy stuff.

Nobody in their right mind would accuse our govt' on bringing down the towers or saying that Obama is the anti-Christ. The radicals only get in the way of true political debate.

All radicals make my head explode!

I've said it many times before; I'll say it one more time -- if you have the word "winger" hitched to your political affiliation, I want no part of your politics. It's the "wingers" who totally disrupt the applecart 99.9% of the time.

I wholeheartedly agree with Dan'l's post...and am actually enjoying the Democrat run-up to the primary, disguised as a circus. I've listened to their crap long enough. Now it's time for them to hear it.

Operation chaos 4tw!

PS - did anyone see a while back where some lady fainted in the front row at SEVEN strait Obama rallies?? In all of the rallies, Obama eagerly jumps down, says something to the effect of "it's okay! she didn't eat lunch today!" and grabs an unopened bottle of water out of his podium. What a guy!

Wow that is one lengthy post, and interesting to read. I have never heard most of what you say liberals are accusing Bush of. "President Bush personally placed explosives every three floors on both Twin Towers and then Bush personally pushed the plunger to detonate the explosives located within Tower 7"? What? That is just plain silly, and I am no Bush fan (LOL, that is funny for more then one reason). Although I think there is more to 9/11 then we will ever know, it is quite a stretch to say our government planned it and/or pulled it off. Although that would answer that nagging question of why the hell we haven't caught Bin Laden yet.

As for Obama supporters being "blinded by Obamamaia"- sorry, but this Obama supporter is not easily lead by smooth talk and a nice smile. In fact those are usually red flags for me there is something wrong. I don't easily follow any politician. And I strongly disagree with your assertion he is bad for this country. He cannot possibly make it any worse for us then Bush has, and God help us if Clinton gets into office. As for McCain, he is my 2nd choice behind Obama, if for no other reason then to keep Clinton out of office- now THAT would be bad for our country.

Today's AOL straw poll: 87% of those on BOTH sides of the fence say they "doubt Obama's patriotism." I don't recall, in the last 12 general elections I have taken place when a Presidential candidate's patriotism was questioned.
