W.G.A ...WRITERS GREEDY A-HOLES

As a member of the I.A. ..enough is enough..what more do theses writers want they were given a great proposal and walked out saying its not enough..as the media shows these strikers do any of you see a sad or desperate face on any of them??Noooo.. because theses people who make between 250,000 and 500,00 a year are getting paid residuals while they walk a picket line while the rest of the hard working men and women are looking forward to losing their homes ..telling their kids Santa's not coming ..screw the WGA for doing this they could have worked without a contract at least until after the holidays at least then they would get sympathy...not only that they are forcing producers to do more reality shows so that causes actors to lose their jobs..and because reality shows are non union they are driving union people out of work....the WGA is on a one way train wreck..the sad part is they are taking a lot of innocent victims with them...

The dogfight continues: who will win? Any bets or predictions? Maybe it's a good thing in disguise...perhaps Mr. Moore will be forced to work a Santa job, and have a hoard of kids crush his carcass...the natural padding he has will protect him! Just keep Mr. Moore away from Mamas in Van Nuys. Ho Ho Ho! Ha Ha Ha! He He He! Doh Doh Doh! Then he'll land in the E.R. and see how sicko he really is.

Oh yes, Craftyguy:

Do you know any of the following people: Mark Johnson (3 guys a gal and a pizza place), Jan Corey (works behind the scenes in film and TV) or Winston Quitasol? These are just a few people I know and went to college with (Winston and I also went to Junior High and High School together).

i dont recognize those names although i did work with a last name of corey that person had a brother who was a crafts service person..i mostly work television shows although i have done a fair share of features ..

The working writers I see are flush with cash. They are millionaires. You nonworking writers need to evaluate your career decision. Waiter = actor as jobless TV watching slob = writer. Do you want to get paid big bucks to sit on your [...] and not do anything?..then become a producer. The writers and the producers are like watching two fat kids fight over a steak dinner in the Sudan.
Any worthy writer is already a producer and collecting way over scale. The only reason you are striking is because you can afford the strike. The working crews can't. Our rates in the IATSE get rolled back and the rich writers want more money??? Screw you guys.

thanks HDTVCAMERA..im glad to see other members of the I.A.T.S.E. speaking out against this bull..there is no support for these greedy a-holes..ive only met one teamster who supported them and i dont know why when the WGA never supported them..after ELI STONE and OCTOBER ROAD television as we work it is gone..while these writers sit around collecting residuals we scramble for work ..pilot season now is danger of not happening..thank GOD for features but thats not enough work for all of us..i hope they get what the deserve ...NOTHING

Hasn't those WGA members been partly responsible for all of the sympathic writings for the Illegal Aliens, so they should get AMNESTY for their criminal activity?? Yeah, these are the people. Let the Illegal Aliens do their jobs!!! Let UGLY BETTY and her fameeelleee do it!!

Wow, this deep, but I have agree with most of the post.

Tell me how and I will apply for a writer's job. I got skills. They don't want to go back to work for that nice salary you guys mentioned, I will. Just tell where to apply and I am there man.

i work in the film biz doing craft service not food but layout board so i work many shows for many networks i also work on many features i get to meet alot of very interesting people..some of the biggest names in hollywood walk on us...
